Do you think Andrew can beat Logan or Jake Paul? Let me know 👇👇 Watch next: How to Box 101 | Complete Boxing Tutorial for Beginners ruclips.net/video/D8DouKeOkfI/видео.html
I would say he was like a sort of decent kickboxer. But many levels under an actual decent pro kickboxer. I've won a few tournaments in kickboxing but i wouldn't want to fight a pro. Just saying.
Tony u didnt say why u think Logan Paul would win. Also the guy Tate was sparring with was a former UFC heavyweight, hence the small crowd. And Tate cracked his rib with that sidekick. My bet is on Tate coz Logan s a great athlete but had never won a boxing match, not even against another RUclipsr lol
My neighbor called it chopping the tree. He never even threw a punch until he threw about a half dozen leg kicks and then started working combo's in after his opponent couldn't move anymore.
I’d like to add to this as a Thai boxer/k1 fighter - its kicking someone in the right spot, low kicks its tear drop shaped muscle on the thigh and the shin is like baseball bat or axe chopping away
I haven't watched the video, but with just using logic and common sense you cant become 4x world kickboxing champion if your fighting skills are subpar.
Some scrutiny is needed though, unlike boxing with kickboxing depending on your "WORLD" TITLE you can be subpar or go down in the halls of fame of the sport. Andrew won ISKA which is one of the lower ranking organizations. There's a reason in the last 10 years nobody talked about him
@@FiniteMan1933 if Andrew Tate was a high class kickboxer,he should have been competing in glory kickboxing, not to mention his last fight was against a guy who was making his debut, boxing and kickboxing share the same problem of having so many "world" champions, but at least glory is a thing to highlight all the elites of kickboxing
I love that Tony is open minded,I'm a MMA guy and I've heard alot of boxers talk down on kickboxing/muay thai, wrestling/bjj saying it's no technique, how they'd eat a kick, or just get up from a good grappler. Honestly refreshing to hear a boxer who isn't biased speak on his perspective on things in combact sports.
so what let them talk. you know and I know especially me as an muay Thai fighter they couldn't stand after one kick let alone go a full muay Thai round with knees and elbows. haha
Yeah very true I had one guy I was doing so "light sparing" with he didnt hear the light or sparing part apparently he was a decent boxer and this was in an MMA class, I am a kickboxer myself I kept telling him "relax its just light" he didnt so I gave him a medicore leg kick and his face... lol leg kicks are soooo much worse than they look and they already look bad... but once you get one you think "Oh no this is not good" until you get used to it, learn to block etc...
@@BillyBobThorton777 Like honestly just kick me in the shin and I'm toast. Boxing is a fantastic and elegant art but it belongs in the ring. This is not to say that it's NOT effective in a street situation; it can definitely do some work but the other arts mentioned are usually more effective in the streets. I gotta pick me up some MT and Judo
As someone who fought in some boxing and kickboxing fights when I was younger.. The two styles are so different, in boxing when you unload you are in a wider stance and put most of your weight on your front leg for max punching power and you can duck and weave a lot. Kickboxing you can't duck and weave so much or as you weave down to the side to advance in you can eat a rock solid shin bone to the side of your head. Also you can't stand in a wide stance because you will get your legs smashed in with leg kicks and a wide stance you are more likely to get your leg broken from eating a hard round kick.
He’s also known for having a very weird fighting style several times on his fights the commentator says “ you may not like his fighting style, but it’s effective, and he’s dangerous “
@@naqib3232 That's the best way to fight. Don't worry about normal. Train as many useful moves as you can become proficient in and then learn through sparring how to apply; without caring if anyone else thinks you're supposed to do it that way. I'd only want a coach or instructor who cares about judging my effect, not how well I mimic someone else; if I could even afford to train.
It's really interesting to see a boxer's perspective of this. Fighting anyone when kicks are involved is very different to boxing. Range can be very deceptive and leg kicks are brutal.
There is no way for a boxer to judge a kick boxer. To boxers, kick boxers always look like they are leaving themselves unguarded....when in fact they have to guard the punch and the kick at the same time, which you can't really do.
Ya, but he's fighting Jake in a boxing not kickboxing match, so all the concerns he has will directly have an impact on their match. Tate who spent his life in a kick boxing style won't be able to just change all his habits and fix the things that are not optimal for boxing in time.
@@dbaxter604 Tate will train Boxing for months, wider stance, deliberate footwork, higher guard more rolling. It's difficult to roll in KB cos of the head kick risk
Yes. It's often better to take a gloved punch because a heel to ribs or head is more likely to end the fight, or hurt a lot. Heels and knees can crack ribs quite easily
I like how during this sparring match 6:06 you can see he is really looking for an opening, trying to anticipate his opponents move by not focusing on one particular point 6:47 he perfectly anticipated and blocked that kick without staring at the dudes legs, just look at his face as he deflects that kick... such calm, control & focus .. and perfectly lands a kick in response
I believe Tate mentioned that the 2 fights you showed he did not train for them at all and had been out the ring 5 or so years. He said if he fought Paul he would take it serious and do a proper training camp.
@@charliesheen3019 logan is a rookie. Tate is a 4x times kickboxing champion, idk why people still make it look like it's close or even logan winning it. He just needs to get back to training like he used to and in 6-12 months he will be more than ready for logan. Logan didn't show good boxing in his previous fights, his brother did however, but logan is just big and that's it. His punches are weird and without any snap in them. Tony has no idea about Tate's background, cuz he doesn't look like he follows kickboxing. He even got his record wrong, but it is what it is.
@@vsm3331 Tyron Woodley would fucking demolish Tate and Woodley suffered his 2nd most brutal knockouts of his career at the hands of Paul. I wouldnt be so sure.
Tate has been fighting kickboxing for many years. Swapping over to just boxing isn't as easy as most people would think. The stance is different and so is the range amongst other things. Couple that with the fact Andrew has been inactive for a couple of years and Logan Paul is the same size and at amateur level then I think this fight would be a tricky one for him to win. Does no good for his reputation if he goes in there and does anything but blow him away in a few rounds. Make it a kickboxing fight and Tate smashes him easy but that's the only fight Tate should take.
Fun fact is Andrew tate trains every day even when he’s not active in his career He still trains every day it,s a part of his routine that he never misses no matter what that means every day he is becoming a better fighter then the day before
Every last fight of his looks like casual higher level sparring.. demonstrates his patience and accuracy-along with brutal power bc those punches landed do not look heavy yet he DROPS folks mercilessly
Nah he focuses on degrading his opponents over time, even though he does have knockout power he very rarely closes distance and focuses more on countering, he just keeps his output very low creating essentially artificial infinite stamina, but worsening his attack potency in exchange. His punches are often called venomous because even though he doesnt put alot into them the damage builds up over time.
It's worth mentioning that both those pro fights were after his unofficial retirement, he typically fights nobodies now who call him out, just to stay active in some way. Also, the fighter he was sparring with at the end was Luke Barnatt, an ex Ufc middleweight (185lbs) and one of Tates friends.
@@wongwong1517 struggled? I fucking hate tate but your retarded bro. The first guy would rather wildly swing Aand cuddle tate than fight, and the second guy got laid out quick.
I noticed something with a lot of beginners, and those that couldn't let loose of their ego and bad habits. They would usually go for aggression, throwing meaningless punches and wasting energy with that. Tate was playing smart, stayed composed and relaxed, used his reach and throwing punches/strikes only when it counts.
Love these boxing breakdowns. Would love to see you do more analysis of stuff even in popular film and shows and help separate the fact from fiction. Especially since you're an actual expert in the craft!
@@Tony_Jeffries OMG, the early Rocky movies compared to the newer Creed ones are night and day as far as realistic in-ring choreography. Lol. Rocky just sanding there trading punches!?!? Hands down, chin out, swinging from downtown! Woot.
He might have been in a lower league, but he was still fighting professionally, and he still won a championship. Gotta hand it to him, He's clearly better than most but would not be competitive in a top league.
He amateur level most his fights were guys with losing records and off the streets. So yea he should be better than someone w close to no experience like him but guys who actually train whoop his ass lmaooo
Yeah that's like shitting on someone for winning 4 regional belts in amateur boxing. Only issue is, it's Tate. His ego makes him believe that he's a top rank fighter, which he isn't. He still won 4 belts which most people could only dream of.
Points to note: you analyzed one of his fights from after his retirement, as a replacement fighter. There are clips that do him more justice from when he was actually fighting professionally. He has a detached retina or something, so he can't guard his face very tightly as he claims if his own glove bounces off of or puts pressure on his face, it fucks with that. Also why he wears sunglasses all the time, bright lights tear him up.
@@user-ec7jl4fg1p Take anyone off the streets and tell them to fight and they will suck, take that same person and give them 6 months to prepare and they will whoop ass
Just wanted to say that the guy from the sparring video is actually Luke Barnatt, a british Ufc veteran who Andrew actually fought in amateur MMA and won. They are good friends now. And IMO Andrew smokes Logan both in Mma and boxing, but you never know.
thats why ur opinion is ignorant. logan went to states in a competive wrestling state. he would maul tate on the ground. the wrestler wins more often then not. not saying logan would win he has horrible standup, but in a mma fight u aint hurtin anyone when u throwing punches from ur back
@@BrokeMalone Tate should win ideally- given his experience and strength. Still Logan Paul may KO Tate not because of his skills but because of power. Paul is a big guy, one punch on the chin and it might be lights out. Still Tate will win 7/10
Point isnt if he smokes him or not, point is he has nothing to gain and everything to lose. If he wins it goes as expected and nobody cares if he loses how ever he loses a lot of his rep...Anything can happen in a fight Tate is the better fighter no question and would most likely win but 1 miss calculation or 1 lucky shot isnt worth it. Honestly im not even sure why people wanna see logan paul fight andrew tate I would much rather see jake fight. Jake is 10X better then his brother is.
@@BrokeMalone Wow you were really fast to call me ignorant , I know that Logan is a very good wrestler but ,unlike him , Tate actually has a good amount of Mma experience so i believe that he could hold his own when it comes to wrestling and grappling.
side-kick @6:52 is brutal! Fact is, Tate has 80-something full contact kickboxing fights. He's taken a lot of punishment and he's delivered even more! Zero chance Logan or Jake Paul wins against him.
@Bobby Murphy He is a kickboxer it does not translate to boxing. Not having to worry about kicks is huge. Tates chin is high and he doesn’t move well. Clearly you think kickboxing and boxing is the same thing. It’s not.
@@apeblackberry3641 so is tates. The difference is jakes right hand would find tates chin eventually. If he backs up with a high chin or tries to circle with out bending his knees and crouching around shots he will get ko’d easy as that
I think he said he started in karate. You can usually tell people that have. It doesnt translate well to boxing. Jon jones has a similar style imo, instead of committing, throwing full power they use quick well timed shots.
@@devilwearsprada2100 That's only in the event that you're the smaller guy, if you're arm span is further and you're fighting inside you're either screwed or a horrible boxer. Kick boxing changes the game with the fact that a kick can be extended twice the range of a punch, far more power and at any height, from many many positions. You don't need your hands as much to be in a guard constantly as your biggest offense and defense are your legs, staying light and bouncing back, using a goose stick to completely unbalance your opponent or clash the kick with your shin. Kick boxing is a completely different game than boxing.
I'm glad that you noticed his chin is up in the air quite a lot and not having his hands up. But there's a reason for this, after one of his fights he had a retina detachment and struggles to see when he has his hands up so he fights with his hands down so he can see the punches coming. Great video though! Really incisive information and love your tips.
From what I've seen of Andrew fighting, he seems to have a rougher time dealing with smaller opponents. When he's fighting someone his size or slightly bigger, he seemingly manhandled them.

I think the same thing about Tate fighting Jake as I do Logan. It depends on what ring they step into. Boxing is one of the better martial arts. However, knees and elbows hurt! Elbows cut a lot quicker than punches. Also, it is hard to fight if you can't walk. In kick Boxing, you can throw knees during the clinch as well. While less effective punches are thrown until the ref separates the fighters in boxing. Again, it depends on the rules of the fight to me!
Muay Thai would be the better 1. No boxer could beat a Mt fighter ever. Floyd Mayweather Vs buakaw in a fight using MMA rules Floyd would get folded easy.
If it's against Logan it doesn't depend on anything he's getting smoked by Tate. I don't know where people got this idea that Logan can box from, he's fucking terrible.
I feel you and agree, but there are still more boxing fans. Boxing is promoted more on the platforms they would use than the other two. I love all combat sports. I just think it would be bigger in boxing or in an octagon. I would love to see it in a kickboxing setting, though!
I think its important to also note that the fights that you had were more of his exhibition matches where he didnt really train for it, considering he has more or less retired. I think there are clips of when he was younger and were still full on pro where he was a lot sharper.
I mean you should not use age as an excuse on why your no longer good at it. You gotta be able to stay focused even as you age. If anything it just means you have to practice harder to still be as good as you where when you were younger.
It's important to keep in mind that Tate is a "world champion". He didn't fight at the highest level of the sport. It's like Dwight Howard dominating the Taiwanese basketball league. He obviously can fight, but he's not Israel Adesanya
but israel is a mma fighter??? or atleast mostly also fighting without gloves is way dif then fighting with them on listen if there where no gloves on the streets no weapons the tate brothers would dominate most we gotta respect that as nobody in this comment section even iff they wanna act arrogant and stupid the tates would knock us all out and most people on this planet
Dwight Howard was an all star and best defensive player in the world at one point tho and he was considered a super star. I don’t think your example was good. I think a better comparison would be jimmer Freddette in China
@@xenoandfrosted5253 Bro are you dumb? Israel Adesanya would maul both of the tate brothers at the same time. There are thousands of small Kick boxing organization and andrew tate was competing at the lowest of the lowest. A 4x world champion in kickboxing does not mean he was once the best kick boxer in the world he was best in iska which is a low level organization. He cant fight for shit in the big leagues. Just watch Tristans last mma fight and then compare his performance to a big organization like UFC, PFL, Bellator, Caged warrios you can see he cant fight for shit inside or outside the cage/ring. And anyone who can fight like my self can really see how much skill they lack.
Part of the reason for his odd style was that he had a retina injury and doesn't like to keep his hands up because he claims he can't see very well from a tight guard.
I just saw the first fight analytic and would say, just by watching you breaking down how tate moves, that he might not be the most technical boxer, but he has definitely foresight. He watches his opponent closely for such dead giveaways and knows what to do after each mistake made by his opponent
Thats pretty much how he describes his style. He stays back watches his opponent and them strikes. He attributes that to his father I believe as hos father was one of the nest chess plauers in the world
I think you should know about Andrews eyesight problem. He couldn't fight properly at that age because he could go blind anytime. Watch his Early fights for a treat
For those of you who doesn't know there are many orgs which give these world titles And in Andrews case it was a small org compared to other big organization

@Greg Williams Yea, 4 world championships in ISKA, he flaunts around those 4 world championships but he wasn't even in a high rank kickboxing league. In a conversation of the world's best kickboxer, tate isn't even anywhere NEAR that conversation. Tate isn't even top 100. His 4 championships mean jack shit.
Reviewing the first fights (i.e his last fights) isn't indicative off his fighting skill. Tate retired several years back. These fights were him being at the event and was asked to fight. I think for one though he had several days 'notice' whereby he flew in his old coach a day before or on the day of the fight. For a big ticket fight he'd obviously give it a full camp. And the big dude hes fighting is Luke Barnett a UFC fight veteran - 6ft 6 - giant of a man.
His last fight was nearly 3 years ago. He's 35 now. While it's a long time ago, it's not so long ago that he still probably has something left if he truly wanted to commit to fighting someone like Logan Paul. The fight probably won't happen not only because Tate is in a different space now, but also because the Logans themselves have said they don't want to fight him publicly after the backlash towards him.
I think of it like basketball. When I put in say 2/3 months of practice and games I'm back to my max skill. But... If you were to play with me now, I'd only show flashes of skill. I'd still need plenty of time to get my legs under me and get my shot right. I think it's similar in whatever skill we learn.
I love seeing a professional boxer admitting that kicks are way more dangerous than punches. They're empowered by the strongest muscles in the human body, no wonder why they're difficult to land but they knock you out when they do.
@@IMMERSIVEVOICE not at all. I've trained in some form of martial art since the age of 8. Knees and elbows are far more devastating than a kick or punch.
Is he a world beater? No of course not. Would he knockout MOST people that would fight him? Yes of course! He’s stepped into 60 plus professional fights. He’s not afraid to get hurt and hurt people. He’s got an awkward style that is hard to defend against. Quick hands, decent head movement, strong clinch and counter-punching.
He looks okayish on 3% of his techniques. He couldn't beat a journeyman in boxing. His hands are trash. His kicks are more slaps with a foot. Sure, most people in real life would be beaten up easy, but another fighter would eat him. If he was ever good enough to claim "world's best" even if it was 7 years ago he could hover in the top 5 to 10. He's not fighting anyone. His best match would be KSI but KSI has gotten really good with the hands and I don't see Tate exposing himself as the soft boy he is. Shit, KSI even called him out. If he's champion material.... he'd have already accepted that call out. Dude isn't game for it anymore, maybe never really was.

If you watch his earlier fights when he was more active and younger, he was much better, those latest fights of his he looked more out of shape and not very technical anymore.
One thing I do think is deadly that Tate can do, is not only punch hard in his stance or back peddling, it’s punching hard and walking forward. Off each foot a clean punch can land. If he tucked his chin and tightened the guard up, it would be similar to a Frazier style. Opposite of the low stance and roll with a counter style.
@@wintergreen8393 you miss the point. I’m not saying he’s a K1 legend. But he can fight. Yea, he can also take a mean ass shot to the face. Be out before the canvas. Then get up and proceed to beat your ass another few rounds and win the match. Joe Frazier walked forward. THATS what was compared to. Just because I’m an actually fighting enthusiast doesn’t mean you gotta shed your ignorance.
Hey Coach Tony Thanks for the Tate video, it's like we are all watching it with you and listening to your assessment!! You are the absolute Best!! Proud to be a subscriber
Tate looks like he was very specific in the fights he chose, also tended to be more athletic than his opponents. His kicks look karate based, which would explain his good head movement but awkward boxing.
before I knew Andrew Tate was a world champion Kick-boxer and I saw him sparring next to the universal weight machine looked the way he threw punches ....... I was like If I had paid money to see him I'd be mad.
Great analysis/breakdown Tony, would be very useful and informative if you did a lot more of these “breakdown” videos from other fighters. Keep up the good work 👍
He can fight but never fought any high level Kickboxers. He was a good amateur-ok pro fighter, which is not easy to achieve at all. But nowhere near the top Kickboxers like in Glory for example
I been watching you for awhile and contemplating signing up for your online training program and follow it my son. Not the same as a physical instructor probably, but as an introductory to boxing in the home before going to a boxing dojo.
I don't know I think tate will give Paul a run for his money. It will definitely be a good fight. Tate is rich too and he has time to dedicate 12 hours a day to conditioning. I wouldn't underestimate tate, he didn't win 4 kickboxing championships by being a lame in the ring. Guy definitely has a tight boxing game. But from a business standpoint this fight would be the dumbest mistake tate will ever make, if he bites. If he loses, he has a lot to lose.

Andrew keeps his guard low because he has eye problems due to an injury with a detached retina, his explanation was that with his hands up even if he blocks a punch, the recoil from the blocked punch causes his glove to hit his face which temporarily blinds him so he has to keep his guard low and rely on his head movement, its not something he does as a conscious choice, I'm sure he'd prefer to have a high guard, with his chin not in the air throwing clean straight jabs and rights. It's also why you see him wearing sunglasses in a lot of his videos and podcasts
@UCkoY80xJBv6Kdh75vlFmspQ watch him spar, he uses philly shell and a high guard, it would be ridicolous for a serious fighter to not know this things, and you are talking about that video when he is teaching that beginner guy, ofc for a beginer it is not good to raise hands on head if you dont know how to absorbe the punch, it is the same if you dont have any block and just eating punches, so it is best to tag a punch and slip... so it is highly unlikely for me, he is using his eyes just for excuse because he doesnt know how to raise hands

Kick boxing guard is different to a boxing guard. If you keep your hands up in kickboxing you can be attacked with the feet in the lower realms. It's a trade off. Really liked the breakdown. Thanks for that. I got Tate beating Paul though, purely on fight experience. Fighting KSI and a retired underweight Mayweather that pretty much carried him does not match up.
Check out some of his older videos when he is actually fighting for title kick-boxing matches, he’s definitely legit. Logan vs Tate I hope it happens as they both have a lot to lose and it would be very interesting
*Kickboxing tempo is completely different.* Andrew Tate relies heavily on his kicks, especially defensively. If he got into a good boxing gym and trained specifically boxing he would tighten up a lot. The lunging lead hook to the body works better in kickboxing especially if your opponent is about to throw a kick. He’s 36 and hasn’t fought regularly in years. He doesn’t train regularly and just hits pads or fucks around in light sparring.

It's kind of hard to judge people based on how they do in boxing because everybody has their own style. Some people purposely leave themselves open and fight with their chins High because it also leaves other people open for counters. It's a dangerous way of fighting but some people like to do it that way
The fact that you know your shit. Admitted your weakness. Kick boxing. And still stand neutral about Tate. Is fucken Awesome. In this world today that is so hard to find. you are a good honest man Tony 🙏🏼 Tate has done his bit and as you say he has too much to lose to go up against a much younger man. Logan Paul seems to have aggression on his side too.
Things I noticed: Tate’s stance is super rigid and heavy with his lead leg, also his lead leg is planted way to forward without any lateral movement (think springy stances like Steven Thompson and mcgregor) which would leave him incredibly weak to inside leg kicks. Also his style of kickboxing is Dutch influenced based off how he ends combinations with a leg kick and vice versa. Overall he’s a technical fighter but would get absolutely bodied by a Thai fighter or anyone with strike volume
yeah except he has incredible reflexes and etc. seriously actually watch some of his fights. watch 10 of them, you would be lying if u said he wasn't one of the greatest ever
Yeah most glory or k1 fighters would end him but he’s not bad and he’s pretty technical, if he pursued to higher organisations he would probably have a journeyman kinda record like 30-13

The two recent fights shown here, I believe he was a fill-in. The other scheduled opponents dropped out a day or two before the fight and Tate jumped in with zero preparation. And his training video shown was him sparring with mma fighter Luke Barnatt
Yeah there was a vlog about it on his tate confidential channel. Andrew used to comentate regularly for the Romanian equivalent to the UFC where he is/was(?) a partner. It was a last second thing, you can tell those fights weren't taken very seriously.

some kicks look weak but when they are high speed that little bit of momentum connecting to straightened ligaments and tendons = quite a bit of force. Id adds alot of the skeletons weight to it and that bit of speed ends up being a good bit of power when the ligaments are right.
My only thing is have we ever heard of Andrew Tate fighting any of the big names I'm kickboxing.... Most of the time the people he fought was very unknown or just didn't look like they was k1 level or even glory... I'm sure Tate can fight but not as much as people seem to be letting on

The thing about Andrew Tates opponents is they seem very novice. The first guy telegraphed everything and neither him nor the second guy threw many kicks. When the third guy threw a kick Andrew didn’t check it. His stance is way too wide for kickboxing, you want your legs about hip width apart and weight evenly distributed rocking back and forth so you can quickly bring up your leg to check kicks, if you keep a wide boxing stance in kickboxing your front leg will get absolutely destroyed, I learned that the hard way. I know there’s no kicking if he boxes Logan Paul, just something I noticed as a kickboxer myself.
the first two fights at the beginning - he was at the event and the promoter asked him to step in and fight. And the other was similar situation, only this time he had enough time to fly his old coach in the day of the fight. They were bums, but Tate was probably on a bender the whole week prior.

As someone who did kick box, I can confirm even the softest looking kick actually hurts so bad especially if it's 3rd or 4th kick in the same leg
Right in the thigh sweet spot, or a wrap around foot to the back of the balls! Only need be a tap and by fukn christ its crippled in tears time.

My neighbor called it chopping the tree. He never even threw a punch until he threw about a half dozen leg kicks and then started working combo's in after his opponent couldn't move anymore.
Yeah you don’t gotta be a kick boxer to know that
I’d like to add to this as a Thai boxer/k1 fighter - its kicking someone in the right spot, low kicks its tear drop shaped muscle on the thigh and the shin is like baseball bat or axe chopping away
I haven't watched the video, but with just using logic and common sense you cant become 4x world kickboxing champion if your fighting skills are subpar.
Unless you fight bums
Some scrutiny is needed though, unlike boxing with kickboxing depending on your "WORLD" TITLE you can be subpar or go down in the halls of fame of the sport. Andrew won ISKA which is one of the lower ranking organizations. There's a reason in the last 10 years nobody talked about him

I was just making the same comment, yes this is true.
@UCkoY80xJBv6Kdh75vlFmspQ watch him spar, he uses philly shell and a high guard, it would be ridicolous for a serious fighter to not know this things, and you are talking about that video when he is teaching that beginner guy, ofc for a beginer it is not good to raise hands on head if you dont know how to absorbe the punch, it is the same if you dont have any block and just eating punches, so it is best to tag a punch and slip... so it is highly unlikely for me, he is using his eyes just for excuse because he doesnt know how to raise hands

the first two fights at the beginning - he was at the event and the promoter asked him to step in and fight. And the other was similar situation, only this time he had enough time to fly his old coach in the day of the fight. They were bums, but Tate was probably on a bender the whole week prior.
He hasn't fought one legit elite competitor.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts mate.

Recently I’ve been seeing a bunch of videos of Tate giving boxing tips. Could make for more videos to see what your thoughts are on his general fight mentality
