Ann Wilson is possibly the greatest female rock vocalist of her generation. And her sister Nancy was a kickass rock & roll guitar player at a time when women weren't supposed to do stuff like that. Props to both of them.

The crazy part is, the guitar was bought for Ann because her parents thought it would help her be more outgoing, since she was kind of a shy kid, she tried it but couldn't really get into it. So her sister started messing around with it and Ann started singing....the rest is history!

Could have been the last time Skynyrd ever opened for anyone. But, the Tucker Band was their equal that night. There were a whole lot of lead guitar players on the stage that night. Ann Wilson was one of the greatest rock vocalists of all time (male or female). Of course she had an awesome voice, but she used it so well, so tastefully, in a way that always fit the song/music. Unlike some others with great voices, she knew when to exercise restraint and to give space to her fellow musicians (a talented bunch, as well!). Awesome performance.

I could not agree with you more, amazing does not come close to describing them. I was ten when this was filmed. I did not come to know them until my late teens. I saw them in concert in 1987 (yes I'm old), and with out a doubt it was the best concert I ever went to. They are flawless, what they sound like in the studio, is how they sound in concert. I have seen a number of bands in concert in which the live performance paled in comparison to their studio sound. Heart is a completely different animal, they were as good as it gets, and yes you would have been blown away to see them live. I would recommend the Heart Tribute to Led Zeppelin at the Kennedy center, absolutely worth the watch.

Wonderful car, a bit of a gas guzzler for its size because it had a stainless steel frame, but it cornered well. My dad had it painted like bumble bee from transformers.
