@@hutch1111111 No, he didn't do it because he did not like the song, and he definitely was not trying to sabotage it. He did not like how QUIET the song was. So, he threw in some harsh riffs. Big difference.
It actually sounds like he is trying to start an old car.

Classic Alternative Rock song...my favorite part is when the guitar does that clink-clink part before the chorus. I remember the first time hearing the song I was like "What the hell was that? That was fire". The story behind the clink-clink noise you mention is that Jonny Greenwood, the lead guitarist who played the clink-clink and subsequent distorted guitar in thr chorus, thought the whole song sounded just too smooth, and he was desperately trying to rock it up, fuck it up even, in order to give the song an edge.
I think he succeeded.

I understand that these reaction videos are not actual music critics, but they never get this song right. Whenever he sings about her in the song it's calm, it's peaceful. When he talks about himself it's discordant. It's warring with himself.
