    the more I listen to zeppelin the more obvious it is that John Bonham is arguably the most important to the band. He was the perfect drummer for the other 3 members of the band.
    There is no way they could have continued following his death

    I think the most incredible thing about Led Zeppelin is how many AMAZING songs flew under the radar... I enjoy watching reactors get to the point where they’ve reacted to like 10 Zeppelin songs, and they ask “do these guys make any bad songs?”... most bands are lucky to create 10 truly great songs in their career, but Led Zeppelin has more like 50 ;)
    Great reaction as always Scribe! “The Wanton Song”, “the Rover”, and “Sick Again” are three kick ass songs from Physical Graffiti that you should check out 👍

    • @mikezak8812
      @mikezak8812 3 года назад

      I won't give you a thumbs down, however I disagree with your statement. I would retort in saying you missed by 50 songs... after reading- I highly respect your attention directed to The Wanton Song !

    • @JU5TINPDX
      @JU5TINPDX 3 года назад

      @@mikezak8812 Yeah fair enough, I should have said "well over 50 great songs"... point taken ;)
      In 1998, when I was 17, I saw Page/Plant in my hometown and they opened the show with "the wanton song", so it will always have a special spot for me. I love how much tension builds with the opening chords ... then at around 1 minute in all the tension resolves with Jimmy's immaculate descending riffs.

  • @rebeccahopkins9522

    I love the album “Presence”. Very underrated album and unjustly so. But it’s a superb album in its own right. It also turned out to be the second to last Led Zeppelin album ever made. Shortly after recording its follow up, “In Through The Out Door” (also a fantastic album) John Bonham, the drummer for Led Zeppelin and hands down the greatest rock drummer of all time, died tragically from alcohol related asphyxiation in 1980 at the age of only 32. And that was it. The rest of the band could not go on without him. And it became a tragic ending for the greatest band in rock history. But the world would never forget Bonham and all these years later, we still revere him, Zeppelin still sells albums, people still love and listen to their music and its endured for decades. In that way Zeppelin, and John Bonham, will live forever.

    Led Zeppelin was and always will be the greatest rock and roll band of all time. Break down the individual talent of the band and it's amazing, and what can you say about Jimmy Page, pure genius in action and Robert Plant a voice like no other, the rest of the band John Paul Jones, bass, is so underrated, he turns the bass into a weapon and his mastery on keyboards and mandolin is unbeatable, then John ' bonzo' Bonham on drums, the man is an animal, a machine!!!!!

    Killer song, great reaction! That album has a couple other killer songs: Achilles Last Stand and (my pick) For You Life. For Your Life features Jimmy Page on a Fender Stratocaster, unusual for him as he mostly played a Les Paul and Telecaster in the old days. He discovers the whammy bar on For Your Life and it sounds awesome.

    You kinda figured out why Led Zeppelin is considered the greatest rock band of all time. These guys knew how to use silence , an unexpected harmonica riff from vocalist Robert Plant, and the human drum machine known as John Bohham to their best capacity. This band's versatility says a lot. They're way more than hard-driving classic rock. They know the blues as well, and even more acoustic stuff...like "Going to California."
