Led Zeppelin, the greatest rock band that's ever lived...
I am a huge Led Zeppelin fan and I love In Through The Out Door. Hot Dog is a very not good song but the rest all move me in different ways. Fool In The Rain is particularly underrated, every Led Zeppelin tribute I have seen has played it and always gets a big reaction.
Hot Dog is awesome! A lot of fun.
@OutOnTheTiles I will say, at the very least, it is the sound of the band loosening up and enjoying themselves
I love In Through the Out Door. They tried something new, and JPJ and Robert wrote the most of it.
It is a great album
Ya it’s a great album I can’t believe he’d say something so stupid. Lost some respect for this guy with that comment.
CAROUSELAMBRA…. come on man!
@@OutOnTheTilesyup, same here bud 😕
@@OutOnTheTiles So you just want a channel where everyone agrees with you on everything? It's a mediocre album compared to the rest of their stuff. YT is full of channels where they just say they love everything to appease guys like you. Quite refreshing to hear an honest opinion instead of just a bunch of yes-men. Based on your handle, you seem real objective.
Presence is a great album! "For Your Life" and "Tea for One" are exceptional tracks. You may wanna give both of those songs another listen as well
Coda was a collection of songs made before John Bonham died. Bonham died in 1980 and Coda came out in 1982.
"I'm Gonna Crawl" is a great song, "Carouselambra", "All of My Love" and "In the Evening" are all good songs, but the one you really forget is "Fool in the Rain", another great song, and actually I think the ones I said are good are also great. I think you guys should listen to it, it's a great album as well
A banger of a tune from an underrated album, great choice. If she has not heard Tea For One she really needs to hear that blues epic,it is amongst their best work for me. Zeppelin always comes through for me and most others, Enjoy! 🔥🎸🎤🎹🎶🔥
I love "In through the out door".... "Fool in the rain " is my favorite Led Zeppelin song and Hot Dog is one of the coolest country riffs ever! Everyone has their own options.... It's all good 🙏❤️
Not to mention that ‘horrible song,’ All My Love was Robert’s tribute to his dead son, who had passed the year before.
Presence doesn't always get the love of it's predecessors but it's a great album. This track & 'Hots on for Nowhere' are underrated ( at least by some) gems.
Also ‘For Your Life’ 🔥
Coda was an album of previously recorded material that didn't make it on to other albums. John Bonham was on all the tracks, but he died before that album was released by Page.
As Plant and Page embarked on they're solo careers, this song and the texture of Jimmy's guitar, is the precursor, to his new band. The Firm. Jimmy, and Paul Rogers ( Lead singer of Bad Company) 2 albums, a couple of top ten hits..early 80"s..sooo underated!
It had been way too long since I had heard this track. Thank you for making my day......again! ❤
Who doesn't love Fool in the Rain? In Through the Out Door may not be Zepps best, but it is better than many bands best try.
Bonham's drum kit was perfectly recorded on this album, you can hear everything he did ..Check out more of LZ 3 and CODA
Hi Guys, this is a great track from "Presence". Love that album and I love the cover with the impossible structure black obelisk. Very clever. This song is on the Led Zeppelin dvd of live material and is from Knebworth 1979, which also has "Achillies Last Stand" live [ stunning live ] and includes probably the best most powerful live version of "Kashmir" ever ! You really need to checkout Knebworth '79 with Led Zeppelin Live. You get to see John Bonham's power drumming on all 3 of those live tracks. and of course, Page, Plant & Jones sooo good to see them at the top of their game. It took many years for the Knebworth footage to be released. Jimmy Page would not agree for it's release and to this day holds back most of it, but we do get 7 tracks of incredible live footage....The dvd however has over 5 hours of un-released live material from 1970-79....."Dazed and Confused" live 1970 at the Royal Albert Hall using the bow is such an amazing very rare piece of film and you get I believe the full concert mostly of tracks from the 1st two albums. I remember being at Knebworth in '79 and seeing camera crew including a guy on stage with a hand held camera and thinking, oh wow they are recording this....Can't believe how long it took just to see what they finally released, but boy is it incredible to see and hear ! Byee Jim X
Best harmonica since When the Levee Breaks! What a BANGA!
That's a great song, and that harmonica solo is amazing, and the guitar solo also
Such a cool song
This is what you call funk rock...they can really groove
I remember buying this album I then bought a 10$ bag of weed and had a lovely time with my friends 😅
From the Ozarks to the Misty Mountains and down by the many seasides, there were countless folks in the hills and the oceans playing air harmonica to this heavenly jam.
The CURSE of Zeppelin is such click-bait money-spinning crap tbh. One could apply that to any band, really. How many bands lose an important member and continue? Most of them. Like The Beatles we got 12 amazing years....that's a blessing. It should be the CLASS of Zeppelin. They stopped when Bonham passed. In Through the Out Door is the worst of Zep's 8 studio albums but there are some absolute gems on it....give it a listen again. Great reaction too, guys, as always.
I literally agree with all the points you made in your comment!
I'm ganna crawl is a great song
royal orleans is an another great funky tune in that album
That's a beast of a song. Along with "When The Levee Breaks", it's my favourite Zeppelin (uncredited) cover. Bonham is huge on this track.
And Presence is a very underrated album. It's very good.
I love the last couple of NicknLex videos that seem to be a couple of years old but great stuff..best of the channel
CODA was released post-humously several years after Zep were defunct. It featured unreleased songs from their catalogue. Highlights: We're Gonna Groove, Poor Tom and Wearing and Tearing
saludos queridos amigos desde Argentina siempre disfrutando de sus reacciones
Technically, In Through The Out Door is Led Zeppelin's last studio album.
JPJ uses an 8 string Alembic Bass (double course) on a few songs on the Presence album very similar to the 8 string Alembic Bass (double course) that Greg Lake used on Works Vol. and Vol. 2
Since I've been loving you, off of Led Zeppelin III incredible blues song
In Through The Out Door was NOT bad! Just different! CODA was put together after Bonham died using songs they didnt use on other albums.
The Leds at the top of their game.
Always good like cold pizza the next morning. 🍕🍕🍕🍕🍕🍕🍕🍕🍕🍕🍕
I like In through the Outdoor
I see the Steely Dan Box left behind you. I've got it many many years ago.
In Through the Outdoor is an awesome album.
Coda was a compilation record. In through the out door is not Led Zeppelin's best album but i still like it.
NOBODY sounds like bonham!! its just instant, you KNOW its him from the 1st snare hit!
I dont think there's a Zeppelin song or live performance i havent seen!! We never had a hard time in the US getting albums in the 70s! I had all of them on multiple types of media! WATCH THIS ONE LIVE!! 1979 is great at knebworth! Ummm Presence is a FANTASTIC ALBUM!
I know that music is subjective, but I must disagree with you Nick. In Through The Out Door is a fantastic album. Bonham’s drumming alone on Fool In The Rain is phenomenal!! The album was showing where LZ could have been heading going into the 80’s. Take another listen with Lex and see if you change your mind. Love this channel btw!!!
“ Tea For One”! Pages third best solo ever. Fact.
I'm Gonna Crawl on " In Through The Outdoor" is amazing.. just saying❤
You people that talk about zeppelin don't know great music. period. The goats of music, enough said.
Great song to play on guitar!
This reminds me of the first album style.
Yup. Greatest blues band ever! 😉
That’s some tasty bass by JPJ!
WOW I have not heard this since year 2 of the release
Liquid honey
The GOAT!
Not my favorite album by them but this song has always been on my LZ playlist 👍🏼
You should probably say that In Through The Out Door is not your favorite rather than it is so bad. It was a different direction for them compared to previous records but bad it is not. You want bad, go listen to things like Ace of Base now that's bad!!
This is actually a cover version of an very old blues song.
😱😱😱
Woo-Woo-Wooo! 😊
In it's own way, In Through The Out Door is their best album. The best parts are so good it makes my skin crawl. I grew listening to Zep and this album is a triumph. We can only wonder what great music they had left in them had Bonham not passed.
I have to disagree. I have been listening to In Trough The Out Door for half of my life or even longer. I think In The Evening and All of my Love are amazing songs. The album just doesn't hold up to their first 6 albums. If you like it I am really happy for you🤟
I see you crossed the 100k sub line. Well done and well deserved. Tea for One is my favorite from this album. Page just makes his guitar cry and wail. Not a good song to listen to right after a breakup
The acoustic version from the Unleaded album is also great. Give it a try in your spare time.
We’ve heard it - so great!!
This weekend on Sirius XM’s classic vinyl channel countdown, Led Zeppelin has more songs of English bands on the countdown. I’m sure Stairway will be top 1 or 2, as it usually is.
Next: When The Levee Breaks by Zepparella, studio version with 23M views. You will get your harmonica fix! 😉
It's a fun song to play, one of their easier songs to be able to play, it almost sounds like you know what you're doing on guitar ... lol 😛
to me Bonzo's drumming is rawer than any drummer I've ever heard, his drum kit was only 8-10 pieces? I think and single bass drum, great song that REALLY shows Robert Plant's singing ability and the bluesiest Led Zeppelin song, "Since I've been loving you" on Led Zeppelin 3
anything zep im in . cheers fe glasgow guys
They made this album only in 21 days
In through the outdoor was bad??? I love you guys but Nick your crazy! That's one of my favorite albums...LOL
Though, when it came out, it did split the fans. At the time it didn't have the energy they had previously. I've come to like it (but I really like "In the Evening", "Carouselambra" and "Fool in the Rain"), but it's not in my Top 5 as Zep albums go. Just me homie 😉.
I have to disagree with you about "In Through the Out Door". You may not like it but that doesn't mean it's "so bad" that's your opinion. I personally love it, it is different for sure but that's mostly because it was JPJ and Plant and also the beginning of the 80's.
It's a great album
A Blind Willie Johnson composition that Zep went ahead and took a songwriting credit for; Willie's was originally titled just Nobody's Fault and as is all of his stuff, is quite amazing with his guttural singing and slide playing. Well worth checking out as well. Great upload.
79 knebworth last uk gig . must watch
One of LZ's very best. Bonzo's syncopation is off the hook. Off the beat but not off the sync. Just my opinion. Absolutely brilliant.
Presence is a great album and highly underrated. JPJ’s usual contributions(aside from his stellar bass playing) are conspicuously absent. Instead, Jimmy’s guitar carries the whole album with it being front and center, so creative and innovatively layered. The only song I don’t care for much is Candy Store Rock, but everything else on here is just solid gold, just a showcase of good songwriting. I’d give it another listen Nick. I know there are rabid Page fans that don’t like this album which doesn’t make any sense because this is Jimmy’s album all the way and I think it’s a record he had to make.
So much great music by them but I’m still partial to their first album.
"Presence" brings back memories as being the first Led Zeppelin album I thought sucked ass.
Under-rated album. Masterclass drums.
❤❤❤Robert ❤❤❤
I think you distract her too much, and I love the faces she makes!
don't think the album is their best either. Robert Plant sang it in a wheelchair after a car accident and his voice wasn't at its best. The blues Tea for One is also a good piece. It has some similarities to Since I've Been Lovin You.
The drumming is so off kilter. Which equals brilliance. Everything is out of tempo, but it is perfect.
robert was in a wheelchair i believe recovering from car crash
Nobody's fault but mine is metal! And the drums aren't out of sync John Bonham played odd signature time but staying in sink with the band! And Achilles last stand is pretty much a progressive proto power metal song! Achilles last stand inspired Steve Harris from iron maiden to take on the galloping signature! And into the outdoor isn't a terrible album It's just not hard rocking album because Jimmy was going through his heroin stage so he's really didn't produce in through the outdoor! And for me present is my second favorite album it has great songs on it no matter what anyone says! And into the outdoor has a few good songs I'm gonna crawl in a great blues song and fool in the rain has one of Jon Bonham's best drumming is half shuffle is killer on that song! To bad they left out wearing and tearing on the album! But wearing and tearing is on Coda that song is pretty much proto speed metal!
We disagree on good music. I think "IN THRU THE OUT DOOR" IS AN AMAZING ALBUM. "ALL OF MY LOVE", "IN THE EVENING", "HOT DOG" AND "FOOL IN THE RAIN" Are great songs for an album so late in their career. Stop and listen to "FOOL IN THE RAIN". I mean really listen.(With headphones on) It's such an intricate song with really interesting drum parts and a mix of rock with regaee. Listen for the steel drums coming in right after the whistle.
It’s an awesome album. Every song rocks including Hot Dog this guys a ding dong.
I agree but these guys didn't listen to good rock and roll until their 30's and only doing this to make money.
@@daviddinu1089 Yeah! What a DISHONORABLE way to make money! My God . . . You're a Genius! You should write a book and make lots of money off of that!
Yes, In Through The Out Door was a bad album... but not as bad as Heaven & Earth by YES.
Ten Years Gone, my favorite song. No, Van Halen is the greatest band. lol
Zeppelin!!!
Saying In Through the Out Door is a "bad" album is not your best comment. Lot of good songs on the album.
its an honest comment that I would repeat until the end of time. I have heard the album hundreds of times. Again this is my opinion. I do share it with many that love Led Zeppelin. I first heard this album when I was about 11 years old. In the evening and all of my love are the only songs I play the rest is just not up to par with anything that came before by this amazing band. Maybe fool in the rain when I am in the mood for latin led zeppelin.
@@NicknLex I can agree with a comment that it's not your favorite but its not a bad album. Look through the comments below and you will see many more that really like the album vs those who don't.
Robert is puling an Elvis who copied a classic blues Song
In Through the Outdoor is so bad? Are you crazy? It’s an amazing album. Can’t believe you’d say something so profoundly silly. WTF?
. . . But they enjoy "7" of their albums and they constantly say how much they "Love" Led Zeppelin on various videos.
Presence is a great album!!! Shame on you!!! ;
