I've been following the entire process from the first video and I love the result, all the "defects" add more personality to the guitar. Now I want to get one of these kits.
For sure mate! It is my custom shop! Hehehehe somehow the guitar starts having a story with me since the birth!!! 👌🏻 Now I will move to a more challenging one: an uncut kit!
I used the Dartfords from GitarrenBlaster ones! The link is on the description! Regarding the checking, I kept the guitar curing the painting with open window, changing from warm to cold. I suggest to paint it on the same temperature that it will cure, with good ventilation!
What kind of guitar finish will I need if I don’t want it to relic easily?
It is more recommended Poly as it is made for higher resistance. Majority of the guitars, specially in entry level, are PU
Water based laquer.
Nice!!
Thanks for your feedback mate! 🎛️🔥
Wow!! It looks gorgeous! Well done friend! 🙌🏻
