I’ve thought about dipping the head of my trailers in chartreuse rather than the tail/claws like most people. It just makes more sense that they’d come eat the jig properly and not grab the claws. When Matt Allen confirms my idea works I know I’ve become smarter by watching these videos. I can’t tell you guys how much I’ve learned over the last year studying each video you upload and the videos all the way back to like 2011! Keep up the good work, Matt and Tim! Thank you.

Thank you immensely for what you, Matt and Tim are doing!
Back in the 1980s the Indiana State University put on a three day bass fishing school called the national fishing institute. I personally with a friend went to three of these. It was very small classes with some of the top professionals in the business including Billy and Bobby Murray, Shaw Grigsby, Jimmy Houston, Doug Hannon ( The bass professor).
And they all talked about the best ways to catch bass under any conditions winter, spring, summer, and fall.
In my opinion you guys have as much if not more of their cutting edge information on Bass Fishing. I have updated my tackle immensely over the last three months in preparation for the 2019 fishing season. And I really appreciate the knowledge that y’all have given me. Keep up the great work!

BEST FISHING INFORMATION CHANNEL. I can honestly say that watching y'all has made me a better fisherman and there is know doubt about that my statistic from last year show that.Especially on the JIG man I have fell in love with the jig and fish it year round now and TACTICALBASSIN 4show has been a tool I use to get better I have watched some of the videos multible times in order to soak the info in, thanks . If you want to be better at fishing especially if you are not a beginner you just want a bigger bite, then you have to subscribe and put Tim & Matt in your tool box.4th time watching this gem ( he dumps so much info omg its alot) , so I finally had to say something. @@DoctorSess Hey, Doc! I am a essential worker! I go fishing because. I can Isolate and get away from Covid. My mother is in a Retirement village. With Covid 19. She is surrounded by Covid 19. She is hanging in there. She is 89 years old. My wife works there too. My sister works on a Covid unit at the hospital. She is a RN. People think that Covid is waning but its not. Here in Indiana. Our numbers are going up not leveling off either. But going up! The Governor is starting to open up the State. I fear a up swing is about to happen. My work is taking temps and we are starting to wear masks. 5/3/20. Please keep wearing your masks and gloves and washing your hands. The pressure is to open up the Country! But don't be fooled into saying this is over! 23 people have died at the Retirement village. There are 60 elderly people still there and all have Covid 19. I still haven't caught a bass on a jig. But that's the last thing I am concerned about. Tell everyone about what you have learned from my TEXT. Don't let up for a second! Double down on what your doing or Covid19 will find you and yours. Love the long in depth videos you guys do. I feel like you are not rushed to fire off tips and tricks just to make a 10 or 15 min video. You take your time to really break down and explain what you do and why. Now if I could just make myself enjoy jig fishing, I could take what I learn from this video and bring it out to the water. But I'm constantly finding myself throwing a weighted Texas rig, or finding an alternate way to fish. I have a nice variety of jigs in a box that i bring with me, but they almost never see the water. I think i need to go out with 1 rod and reel, and that 1 box, and force the issue upon myself.

Thanks Matt, as always, solid information reinforced not only by experience, but also intelligent reasoning. I’ve only been bass fishing for a few years now as an adult, and I am a “junkie” for information as well as tackle. It seemed counterintuitive to shorten a weed guard, but reducing its total mass makes sense. Thank you.

I love it. In a world where people can buy just about anything and where’s there’s very little creativity anymore, you can always find a way to push the envelope. I always say fishing is a burnt out hobby. You have to think outside the box 99% of the time. The people that are successful do. The people that aren’t say to themselves ‘well I threw a jig with xyz trailer! ‘ or ‘ I used yada yada crankbait!’ And neither caught much. Or they got a couple but not overwhelming success. You always seem to add that little extra that can put an angler over the top and in another category all together. Good video. I binge watch your vids. 1st time commenting 👍

I live on a fairly clear and shallow lake with 1 being Gin Clear and 10 being very dark water, I would say it’s a 4 on its worst day. The funny thing is White Bass Jigs or White Chatterbait with a 5” White or Pearl White Grub Tail,
are incredibly successful. I buy the Arkie brand Jigs at Walmart for $1.56 and they are a quality tough jig. I just bough one for a goof one day. Wow can’t believe I found a Diamond of a Jig. It also comes in 2 or 3 other colors.
Arkie also makes a Finesse Jig called a Salty Craw in Green Pumpkin at Walmart for $1.56. Weedless. Bass devour it.
It would be cool to see you do a video on Bargain Baits that hold up and really do work. The Two I gave you would be a head start. Love all you do.

Well done Matt! Very informative. I am not an expert jig fisherman by any means... I have always preferred Texas rig fishing. That said, after watching this video, I do believe that I’ll mix it up between the two techniques, and do with confidence. Thanks Matt🏄🏼‍♂️🎣👍🤙

I want to say I really like your channel. You and Tim are great guys. I fish lake mead every weekend and would love if you guys could make a trip here. I would live to see how you would break this lake down.

Finally made myself put down a spinnerbait and throw a jig and the first tree I pitched too I caught 2 in 3 casts and I’m addicted now, once you get the first bite it’s a revelation lol

    Mr. Allen & Mr. Little,
I would greatly enjoy watching a breakdown video on the Axle jigs from 6th Sense. Specifically the swim jig and the finesse jigs.
    Cheers

Love love love the channel guys. Been following y’all for a long time and have truly made me a better angler. But it seems to me that a lot of these videos just seem repetitive to older videos. Just a thought that I’m seeing on the channel but keep it up guys.
