Rip King Curtis. The brothers did you right. Rip Duane, Barry, Gregg
If you don't feel good listening to this, then I feel sorry for you.
Peace & Love
R.I.P. Dickey Betts 🎸🤠✌️
This & Duane’s Tune are my favorites song on this box set.
It's so cool to be able to hear Duane's voice just have normal casual talk with the audience...
as greatness becomes legend, this version of YDLM with the tribute ad lib that the band inserted in the middle of the song is STUNNING!. The delicate soulfulness that Duane transfers to his friend Curtis' song is tender yet fiery up to the solemn church chords that Dickey recites in a dignified and reflective sequence that is a Betts signature. Then on to the blazing train ride out and a soaring Joy To The World coda puts an exclamation point on this gem.
Allman Brothers kick ass!!! They are so good live!!!
Hola , I saw them in concert around 1995 In Santa Rosa Ca. Grate momento. Ilistening right now Is DREMS.
Love this...The power they conjured..Soul serenade indeed.
YOUNGER BROTHER MARK PASSED AWAY.R.I.P SURE DO MISS HIM .
48 YEARS AGO AND YET IT COULD HAVE BEEN RECORDED LAST WEEK...SO FRESH,DYNAMIC AND AMAZING....SKYDOG-YOU THE MAN....
He sure was The
Man.🍑
The Allman Brothers were the only jam band who could maintain tension over a 20+ minute performance. No one comes close. As great as Duane and Dickey were, this is because of how they employed the rhythm section while they were jamming. The Dorsey Bothers, Benny Goodman, and Duke Ellington would have loved this
Great observation!
By far, if not the smokinest I've heard them play!!!!

Greatest of all time, these fellas.
GOOD GOD, how many times can i listen to this? ABSOLUTELY have to play air-guitar, dance, and sing. a RAW masterpiece.
You don't love me is some fine music!! ..takes up one side of album!! I saw them one time..1980... I was in awe during drum solo..I almost went into shock!!..... almost.... Memphis And Whipping Post is another whole side!! I guess when Eat a Peach came out recording in studio was a little more advanced.... cause they made Mountain Jam.l pts one and two on one side of album....how they make it FIT. Cause it's a double album but just one. CD. I guess they had a compressor
Without doubt greatest of all time!!!! ABB!!!!!!
I’ve always thought based on the opening dialogue that this song wasn’t meant to be played next, or at all. Glad they did!!
All guitar players wanted to be Duane!!! My favorite on the box set also!!!!!!
ETERNALLY EPIC ....💙💙💙💙💙💙
Love the Allman Brothers music for the soul
De las buenas canciones que colocaba Iván Losher!! Que recuerdos Alman Brothers en con cierto!!!!!
Smoking, as good as Fillmore East!!!!! Play what you want!!!!
I am playing in pain.
ABB will never be surpassed!!!!!
16:30 if you don’t tap your feet or dance, your not alive!!!!
I'm tapping and dancing while I send this.
Please. 8 minutes. Obviously soul serenade means nothing to you.
Awesome! Thanks for sharing brother!
Just listen to King Curtis and you’ll know what he’s talking about.

16:25 does someone know what song is it or if it's a song?
Don't think it was a song, just a chord progression/groove they came up with for YDLM-SS-Circle
