The only game I remember playing with either of my parents is chess with my dad. I remember playing games with each of my grandmothers, but not my parents. Now in my 20s I collect board games and my parents hate 9/10 that I show them.
They prepost preamble: my father worked 9-5 every day, leaving the house at like 7:00am to commute to work. I'd see him for like three hours a day. We didn't really play together, but he did realize he was losing touch with my brother and me. Once we ere ten or so he started to schedule an evening together with each of us separately. We'd go out to eat and just... Talk. I won't hear any talk my dad was an absentee parent in any capacity. But he did NOT have time to play with us beyond maybe ten minutes here and there, or reading a book before bed time. Mom committed herself to be the stay at home parent and was there for us. And she had a room where she could go and take space. We weren't allowed in The Office. It IS important to take time for yourself as a parent. But don't neglect your kids.
my brother and his wife dont play with their kids. it weirds me out, the poor kid wants to play with them all the time but gets ignored as they are on their phone or watching tv, playing video games etc. Like, kids have to learn how to be sociable through play, especially autistic kids (which he is). They wonder why hes destructive and doesnt play with his sister or anybody else well. its crazy to me that people dont like their kids.
for a lot of people a child is a trophy, social status, object, slave or a personal project but people laugh at you when you talk about children's liberation like so many kids don't suffer through their childhood and not get treated like a human being

Making me realize I dont think my parents played with me at all, not counting my dad making me practice sports. I dont think they made a hard rule about it like the tiktok lady, they just weren't playful people

On the second one I think the biggest factor is she saw them once and they were fighting in an incredibly harsh way. 39:07 this may becoming from knowing my own extended family has become a mess cause an aunt married someone everyone else taught was a terrible person and turns out they were right and he’s abusive to everyone in the family It’s just a mess
The dad in the second story is the biggest example of redditor mentality i've seen, the dad made that post not for people to solve his issue, but to make himself look GOOD in his story and to get validation from stupid redditors who could agree with his biased perspective on the matter, it was soooo frustrating to listen to.
Am I losing my mind??? I swear they already did the pavlov's sex slave guy because i remember the update where it turns out it wasn't even a kink it was just a weird idea that got out of control
My dad and mom never really played with me wen i was a kid they would give me a tablet and tell me to leave them alone and when my dad did play with me he would say that he hated playing with me and how he just mounted to sleep and now they ask me my i don't have any friends and why i am owes on my phone ( sorry for my English it is my second language)
Looking back on it now, my mom didn't really take that much time to play with me either. She's been single since divorcing my dad over two decades ago, so i can't exactly fault her. Since then, I've only really played with my cousins and their parents since my mom worked all the time.
Nope, second post Jordan is 100% correct and no exceptions, now would I if I were in the position of the son, would I think the mother is the asshole? Absofuckinglutely, but otherwise? Hell no.
Yall a so vanilla. This woman clearly lacked power in their sexual dynamic and found a way to take it. She is in the wrong for holding it over his head, but this is just a kink thing. They just need to talk about their sexual chemistry. He needs to be more attentive to her sexua desires. She needs to communicate better.
@@default9314did she not? She forced her hand, that's what caused the conflict in the first place. I will say tho, I wrote that before hearing the follow up. They very strongly resolved the issue.
"I love stand-up if its good" the deep insightful takes we come here for, thank you Jordan
I love how the last story ends w them both realizing they're freaks ❤
Easy to say to suffer through bad stand up right after all three of them are like "yeah bad stand up? Id rather DIE"
I'd die for my (hypothetical) wife!

"They wonder why" why are like 80% of adults so surprisingly bad when it comes to critical thinking
