- I this video I review the amazing silencer / modifier / shroud system for the FX Impact made by Air Fective Tuning. It has to be one of the quietest modifications and silencing systems I have ever heard on an air rifle. It also looks amazing, is very light and affordable.

I have a Compatto with an Air Fective Silencer 🤯🤯🤯🤯 would highly recommend!!!!! My Rifle looks and performs unbelievable.

I got a shroud from air fective tuning for my brocock compatto. you fit it almost the same way as the impact and my compatto is whisper quiet , you cant hardly hear anything. I would say … get one , I think mine was about £90 a couple of years back
nice review , i had one of them before for my .22 barel , the only thing i could hear after it was installed, was the valve - hammer and the impact of the pellet , plus that they are very nice guy's ;)
Yes they are and hear 95% good things from customers of them.
Would highly recommend it....love my Compatto!

Nice having the carbon for weight then having it painted. I think Carbon would have been a little OTT for the impact myself. I prefer the DonnyFL though.

I turned my original kral puncher breakers silencer to make just 75 dB!!!
Just 15 dB more than quite places like office!!!

You should do a chronograph test with the Fx standard and the air Fective I wonder less noise less power
Yes there will be a slight drop in power. When you use the standard Impact shroud extended and not extended, there is a drop in POI = drop in power. I never did a chrono with the Air Fective system
when you speak to them try & get them to get a stand on the Northern shooting show , good review by by the way

The hugget shroud and burreta silencer look and performs better than this in my personal opinion
Hugget is well known to be much louder, but prettier.
Reduce the noise from 94 decibel to 84 decibel is not much of noise for the price we have to pay for the silencer.
It is quite a lot, remember db is a logarithmic measurement.
my 22 kozak with a hugget running at 11.15ft lbs is around 52dB super quiet popping a balloon is louder
Nice, but background noise is normally over 60db
@@airgunology did you calibrate the db meter if not you might find its in the 50db range aswell. non uk like the usa will find theirs around the 90 to 100 using a silencer
It was just a free mobile download, so a matter of perspective needed. But it gives you an idea of the difference, even thouh dB is a log scale.

No i did measure whilst shooting, but it will be quieter if that is even possible.
@@airgunology You got me very curious about this kit, im certainly going to do some more research on it . With our ridiculous gun laws and up tight attitudes towards anything dealing with a firearms, the last thing a Canadian airgunner wants to do, is draw attention, that mans the quieter the better, im forever in search of sound suppression. Will the air flective shroud fit the rm8 ultra compact
Is that a discovery scope on top of the rifle. If it is what are thoughts on it. Have you done a review of it yet?
Yes it is. I think they are great scopes for a great price. Not the best, but very nice. I generally don't review scopes.
My FX typhoon with the weirauch silencer on it is so quiet I can here my mrs think ... gonna upload the db metre thingy app ... and tell you the result , but mark my words its unbelievably quiet ..

I saw the Donny at the BSS and in my opinion, the Air Fective looks much better and now way will it be beaten on sound.

Ridiculous to say the least.airgun cost 1600 pounds and one will have to purchase an additionaL shroud.thats really unbelievable.
Because we can. The rifle is quiet already, but if you want to bling, the option is there. One can say a push cycle is just as good as a car, but we all know it is not :)

Gr8 review as always air fective make really good stuff IV delt with Liam before he now's his stuff have you heard of Ian blade Newman he make silencer / moderator kits he's only on Facebook I got a silencer for my lgv it's amazballs IV had hugget and weighrach but Ian's was the quietest and smaller and lighter you should look him up keep up the good work 😀

My FAC 22 airwolf with daystate moderator is running at 86db. For sub 12 I think midd 90's isn't brilliant
There is hardly anything in it, but yes there are quieter systems out there if you search around. It also depends on where you place the db meter and my meter was just a crappy App on a phone.

Not seen them, but if they are good, then a wise choice to try one out.
I know you said you didn’t want to get into a name thing but,,,,Silencer or Moderator, what the hell is a Modifier? Too expensive considering a HW is £50. That’s more expensive than Wild Cat whisper for FAC.
Everything is more expensive than something else. Also remember the price I am stating here is for a FULL shroud and moderator in carbon. I started saying modifier by accident due to all the arguments etc lol.

From my personal experience, Air Fective are a total waste of money. I had to keep chasing up my order and when it did finally arrived the thing didn’t fit properly.
Luckily it was the perfect size to fit in the bin
Ouch bad experience there, not all things are perfect. I hope you took it up with the shop and came to a reasonable conclusion ?
To be honest Steve I didn’t want to waste any more of my time dealing with them. The shroud and moderator was supposed to be a direct swap for original one on my Edgun Matador but even if it had fitted (which it didn’t) the mechanics of how it worked wouldn’t have put the correct amount of tension on the barrel needed to keep it in place.
Why you need this for poorly 16 jouls??lololol
Because it makes it much quieter, 16joules can still be very loud.

Not a promo, I borrowed the Impact and it had this on it. So created a video as I was so impressed with it. I am all for giving UK businesses some advertising when I want to as I thought this was a great piece of kit. Also I was not paid, I did it all of my own back.
