I was at MJ’s last game in Vancouver. 6 rows from the floor. The Grizzlies were up big time and some donkey from their team ran past the bench and said something to Michael as he’d checked out as it seemed to be a loss. MJ tapped Phil and said put me back in. 19 points in six minutes. It was absolutely insane. I was right there and still don’t know how he did it. Replays on the jumbotron in slow motion and you still couldn’t see how he did it. Today’s NBA players should be very happy they don’t have to compete against Michael. He was the GOAT, no questions, no doubts.
It is impossible to explain now because it was a completely different time. Just the feel and the attitude in the 90s is as different as the music from then is to what we have now. Basketball was everything. It wasn't just another show to watch. Lives were planned around being home for the game. We couldn't pull up youtube and watch highlights. Then there's 89-91 Pistons, those 3 years Rodman and Dumars were both top 3 rated defensive players in the league. That team had a physical deep roster and they had Rodman at his faster defensive peak. Sure his rebounds and minutes became next level from 1991 onwards, but 1989-92 Rodman at Detroit was a menace. The tongue out, got from his dad. You just started watching a very small amount of his skills and will to win at all cost, against the most physically skilled players in the hardest era of basketball. And Michael Jordan was beyond all players before him, during his time, and even now and beyond his time. No other players including today's players even come close to his skills levels. Which you will soon discover, on defense and offense, and leadership, and clutch time, his heart, and will to win is unmatched by all. In other words second to none, which is number one all times greatest of all times, greatest basketball player ever.

Besides being the GOAT, he was also the most Entertaining Player of All Time!!!! That man put on a show EVERY game!!!! He said he felt the need to, because he said he knew that for many people, it would be their only game they could ever see him live.

Jordan never backed down and always always..one more time ALWAYS!!! rose up to the challenge. He never took a night off, he never used gimmicks to get a call, and never sought out the best talent to play with to get his legacy he was such a tremendous talent he just didn't need as much help as some other legends have. Last thing if it wasn't for videos you young guys would have never believed the stories about Jordan that we would have been telling you. Peace

Jordan's competitiveness was on another level. He took everything personal which drove him every night. No one was scoring more or defended better than him and if they did for one lucky night, he damn sure made sure the next time he saw them or played again he'd raise hell. If you talk smack to him, he's coming for your throat and more, the dude was just an animal. And as he developed over the years, his mid-range shot was the best ever. Lucky to have watched MJ (the GOAT) play every weekend in the best era of BBall.

Growing up with 2nd row center court bulls tix in my family really shaped my entire childhood. Seeing MJ beat Nique in dunk contest, I dont care what anyone says MJ won, was one of the best experiences of my childhood. My grandfather was OG season tix holder since 1967 and golfing to games with him was incredible. Everyone including some refs knew him and would say hello. I had never seen anything like MJ live. I basically thought of him as a superhero till i was a teenager cause he always came through. Def went to games they lost but can’t EVER think of a game MJ let me down in. Favorite game was 1991 finals game 2 when he couldnt miss and bulls blew out Magic and the lakers. Loved Magic too and in 1991 it was like is Mike really better? After that finals, really that game, you knew Mike was better. There really was nothing like the old Chicago stadiums for a bulls game in early 90s. The excitement of the crowd and how they fed off MJ who then fed off them was just amazing. Some of my best childhood memories were going to bulls games and just the pure joy MJ brought to especially my grandfather, who was the biggest bball ive maybe ever known as he went to 30-40 games a year for 30 years! Grandma wasnt so bad either as she went with him for most. Sorry kinda rambled as i could talk on and on about this.

I was blessed to see Jordan play, live in Chicago. It was 95' - the year he came back. He was rocking the 45 at the time and the United Center was handing out free posters to everyone who came in with MJ in 45. Wish i still had those as they'd probably be worth something today.
It was so hard to get tickets at that time we were really lucky my uncle managed to get 3. We were WAY UP in the rafters, so it was kinda hard to really see much on the court, but the experience was nonetheless amazing for me and my 2 older cousins!
I was 13. I'm 40 now, so memory has faded some. Can't really recall exactly who they were playing, but i think (maybe) it was Milwaukee.

Dude, seeing Jordan live was crazy. Lebron and Kobe are amazing, but Jordan was a real life video game character, just beasting on everyone. No one has had the mastery that he had. He made the circus shot a part of his regular game, and he would constantly do things that you didn't think were possible. Somewhere on RUclips, he has a highlight video of back-to-the-basket foul lay-ups that he makes, where he throws the ball behind is head. He also has 7 of the top 10 playoff series scoring averages of all time alone. Not Kobe, Lebron, or even Wilt appears on this list once. There will never be another Jordan.

I saw Jordan annihilate the Knicks on several occasions at the Garden. I saw his first game ever at MSG in a preseason game from the second row behind the basket (they were practically giving away Knicks tickets in 1984). Even in that first game I remember thinking that there was just something different about his athleticism. These highlight reels give only a taste of how dominant Jordan really was on both ends of the court. He led the league several times in steals and would routinely shut down the other teams best player while scoring 40+ himself. None of the all-time great players of that time - Bird, Magic etc... - had any doubt that he was the best player to ever step on an NBA court and I still think that's true, with all due respect to LeBron who is an all-time great for sure.

I was there in Chicago from 1991-8 to see the Jordan Era. I lived right off of 55th Garfield in Chicago and Bulls used to celebrate the championship in Grant Park on Michigan Avenue. The first chip they won, everybody tore up Downtown Chicago. This was way before cellphones were out. Most of us would use an outside pay phone back in 1991. I seen him at the United Center play the Cavs and he was really that dope on the court. When Bulls won, you could hear ppl in their cars blowing their horns loud as if someone got married. The tongue signature was from his daddy that was tragically killed.
