I was born in 78 so I was at the perfect age to watch this man at work and nothing can explain the magic this man showed every single game I feel lucky to see him live so many times.
me too, I had the Jordan 1's in 85 as a kid and grew up in NC so we had a connection with MJ he won the NCAA for us and grew up there. I got to meet him twice, was nice to me and didnt brush me off or treat me like im annoying him he was respectful and smiled. No one will ever be as good as that man was, ever again. Used to pretend we were him using ladders and would take pictures, you know actual pictures these young fellas dont know about taking your film to Eckard and getting it developed haha.
I mean each season had a mixtape full of highlights..it was crazh seeing Jordan making an iconic play almost every night...its not here but he had a fadeaway game winning three that looked like he jumped into the fans seats
And it was every single night highlight reel performance. I got to watch MJ play live during the '90s and there was no feeling like it. Lebron is a great player no question about it but you can't say he's the goat with any honesty if you've ever seen MJ play night in night out during his 6 championship seasons. MJ is just a different animal.
@geraldmorgan6906 exactly. The next day after every build game on ESPN was just a new highlight reel. Every single game. Even when he played poorly, he did incredible shit
DAMN RIGHT!!! YOU HAVE MY VOTE. IT'S NOT EVEN CLOSE VS LEBRON. LEBRON CAN'T SNIFF JORDAN'S ASS AT THIS POINT AND HE'S BEEN PLAYING IN THE LEAGUE OVER 21 YEARS. HE'LL NEVER CATCH JORDAN, LET ALONE SURPASS HIM.
Rings aside, Stats aside, Accolades aside, MJ is the standard of a true basketball player playing in a court. Skill, Talent, Competitiveness, etc. That's why everyone wanted to be like him. Nobody would want to be a flopper like Lebron. A player who had meltdowns on the court. Anyone who thinks LBJ is the goat is really just a retarded 10 year old.
And being big…and wanting to „witness“ I had high hopes for LeBron after Jordan retired, because I wanted someone who was as amazing and dominant as Jordan. LeBron is good, and among the greatest of all time…but for me, I was disappointed.
@@rschlochif Lebron Didn’t give up on his team like he has, his ego wasn’t so big, he was a good shooter or at least worked on his game he could have been much better. He is definitely not as good as MJ, Kobe, Bird, Kareem.
To this day, the hangtime and what he's able to do while he's in the air blows me away. The way he's in the air and while still in midair he's palming the ball and moving it around and then lays it in with such great touch. I've also never seen anyone be able to make so many jumpshots hanging in the air and then taking the shot on the way down. He was just completely different in so many ways.
Jordan dunked on everyone, including shaq....being a boy in chicago during those years where some of the best years of my life....only one true goat....
If you notice in the clips Jordan many times was being double and triple teamed by the opponents. Teams back then were aggressive defensively and devised game plans, like the Jordan Rules, specifically to stop him but without success. Gerald Wilkins went as far as to call himself the Jordan Stopper because when they played that was his one job on the team to contain Michael. When past players say “Jordan was feared” this is what is meant by that statement. MJ was going to keep coming regardless of what you threw at him. Team’s sole game plan was to slow him down because they could never actually stop him. Lebron is this generations goat but the overall goat is Michael Jeffrey Jordan. Even if Lebron wins more championships than Michael he’ll never be the overall goat and here’s why. Lebron doesn’t seem to understand that every superhero needs an equally formidable supervillain to cement his legacy. It’s not only how much you win but how you win that makes the difference. Who would consider MJ the goat if he teamed up with Magic, Bird, Isaiah or Barkley because he couldn’t beat them? For superstar players their only true competition are other actual superstars. Lebron teaming up with other superstar level players (his only real competition) is in essence cheating the process and the game. Casual fans and Lebron supporters will claim 10 Finals appearances are a testament to his greatness without understanding how difficult the task is supposed to actually be. Lebron, as a superstar player, has played with more All-Stars and Hall of Famers than any other star player in NBA history and that’s a fact. Because every season Lebron “needs help” is the mantra he has an unfair advantage while also playing in the weak Eastern Conference which made a Finals appearance every season almost a given. How can you be considered the goat but every season you need more and more help?
Bron aint the goat of no actual person who understands the game of basketball... Bron is an average player in a soft gabag era/league... Nobody had to be told jordan was the goat we witnessed it.
Mike out there dunkin' on nobodies.. dunkin' on all-stars.. dunkin' on hall-of-famers, dunkin' on the crowd, the coaches, the refs, the ball boys, team mascots, the cheerleaders, arena security, concessions workers, etc.
Man your reactions video had me cracking up and laughing so hard man😂😅😂😅 especially your reactions when you're saying nothing!! When Mike is doing things that make a person speechless!! That's greatness!!!!
Facts and if you grew up in that era you know highlights can’t even do MJ justice regarding his cultural impact both on and off the court. MJ is a literal icon.
@kirbyaugustine761 don't care about his impact off the court, thats undeniable. His impact on the court was.. wow! I love watching the kids say things like "what am I watching" or " this can't be real"
MJ 6ft 6 inches with a 48 inch vertical and ran a 4.3 40 yard dash with the 6th largest hands in NBA History as well The highest vertical in NBA history. The most Skilled and competitive mindset with those athletic gifts equals unstoppable
Dude did not have a 48in vert stop. Jordan had like a 38in vert. He 6'6, 48 inches would mean his head would be 6 inches about the 10,ft rim. Jordan is a Goat, but 48inch vert is crazy
@@savannasanchez2578 Google is your friend. SMH. His vert was measured at 48 inches at the NBA combine. Those are OFFICIAL measurements and undisputed.
@@savannasanchez2578 His vertical was measured at 48". That is literally the point of the test, to see what his maximum vertical leap is. Do you think he jumped his highest all the time? Of course he didn't, otherwise he would smack his head on the backboard (Which he has done, theres even video of it) and the rim, constantly.
Actually, I have to call you out a little, if you only watch this highlight reel, you won't see as much of MJ's passing and team work but I can guarantee that it was there and when teams started using the Jordan rules, he would use his passing and assists to make it backfire on them. MJ was a team player but he also demanded accountability and if you flopped the pass or missed the easy shot, he would pass it to you less or depend on you less until you shown that you were worth the pass. I grew up and watched MJ's entire career, I haven't seen anyone play with that much consistency and energy since, I have seen other players put out this type of output but not on a daily / every game basis.
Jordan was basically the first dude with a dedicated VHS highlight tape, called "Come Fly With Me." Everyone rented it from Blockbuster or bought it or dubbed it. It was so hot that they made another one called "Michael Jordan's Playground."
Isn't there another one called "Air Time", or something like that? It's been so long. I took mom to the IMAX at the Reuben H. Fleet center to see the one that came out in the early 2000's. That was crazy.
I must have watched this mixtape over a hundred times and EVERY SINGLE TIME it makes me want to go outside immediately and shoot! THAT's why MJ influenced so many kids and future players...just watching him MAKES you want to go play....and...you know...be like Mike!
Yeah I've seen this about 20 times and my jaw still drops. I was very young during his prime and I'm Australian. He literally made the NBA relevant in Australia. All my school friends were fans. We got jealous because one of our rich friends got the latest Js. We collected Fleer and Upper Deck cards. And you were the king if you pulled a Jordan. I remember watching an MJ mistake at my friend's house and I was in awe. And I'm 40 now and still in awe watching his highlights.
MJ won a title in half the seasons he played with the bulls. 6 titles in 13 years, and took two years off in his prime. His last six seasons with the bulls was his unstoppable peak.
I'll see that now you are a unbiased contact creator, And that I do like. I wish you could have seen all of the great ones Michael Jordan, played against. And then you would have seen and, appreciated MJ, play. And how great he truly was above all.
Watching him live and in person was unreal! He was truly the best athlete I have ever seen and there is no close second! It was even captivating watching him in the layup line during pregame warm ups! He made the impossible look easy! That’s the difference…
@@brianmunch1827You are listing versatile athletes. Those guys are definitely amazing athletes, but their athleticism didn't dominate their sports like Jordan's did. I watched all 3 play, for me nobody looked as athletic at their sport(s) than MJ did at basketball.
I watch him live, I was there. The atmosphere, the joy and the satisfaction we felt then cannot be compared to anything today. You might think it's funny, but I've been guarding Celtics vs Lakers tickets like they're worth more than gold. Unfortunately, nothing is the same anymore. The NBA is not what it used to be.
I was six when the Knicks won their second championship in 73. And since then I have never witnessed another basketball player like this man. No one has ever done the things that this man has done. And in 95 I was a season ticket holder in Madison square garden. And there has never been a man that I've seen in person do the things that this man has done. And they will never be another player like this man again!
MJ was like a big brother to Kobe. Took him under his wing. Taught Kobe several tips. They became Close. At Kobe’s service Mike could not hold back the tears. Cried like he lost a brother
Jordan's cat-like quickness combined with his aerial acrobatics was just different from anything I have ever seen. I still see don't see any players able to put it all together like him. Some guys can do certain things, but they can't do it all. He has no weakness in his game. Straight up assassin with a basketball.
kobe was the closest thing but kobe was the closest thing to mj AFTER jordan played baseball for two yrs jordan from 1984-93 no one has been able to imitate that even FROM A DISTANCE
@@DynoGreen313 facts as a new basketball fan i watched young MJ and was confused about people saying Kobe is the closest, cuz that was something else. then i saw after the first retirement and was like ok that makes more sense lol cuz he was still athletic and dunking even with the fadeaways and post game and Kobe does look similar to that MJ.
MJ was unstoppable, thats why so many teams made dirty and smart strats to stop him and still, he adapted, make him stronger, make their temmates stronger, he was really intellingent, he knew what to do and knew how to preserv3 all that he won. Miss you MJ, I hope someone gives us the security and surprises that you have given us.
Every every game Jordan played ...all of Chicago was a ghost town... EVeryone was watching. Screaming. Loving every second. Watching our TV It was a dream..
As someone who grew up watching Jordan, the court was his playground. He literally did whatever he wanted, whenever he wanted, and to whomever he wanted. He was literally unstoppable. My family weren't even Bulls fans, but we tuned in to every Bulls game we could just to watch MJ.
@@themaster804 you mean "those guys" as in the guys that would slam you to the court and not get a foul called? You must be a LeBron fan watching your hero get carried off the court cuz he sprained an ankle.
And thats what they don't understand. People turned on the TV to watch The Bulls with Jordan play. It was folks who went to games simply to Watch The Bulls with Jordan play!!!
A lot of players today are scared to contest dunks cause they don't wanna be in posters and social media clips. So they just move out of the way or attempt to take a charge, plus the game is more open now so there is less ppl in the paint. Back then, there was no 3 second rule so there were more ppl clogging the paint, and you didn't get free dunks. The bigs will try to contest. Jordan just had no fear and would attack the rim regardless.
You know what makes it even more impressive? MJ did this in an era that was as physical as prime Tyson sparring. And on the perimeter he was defended by some of the greatest perimeter defenders all-time (Moncrief, Alvin Robertson, Rodman, Dennis Johnson, Payton, Michael Cooper, Dumars, Pippen-in practice). When he was able to shake them perimeter pitbulls' lock-jaws he had to contend with some of the greatest rim protectors all-time (Hakeem, David Robinson, Mourning, Mutombo, Ewing, Eaton, Rollins, Parish). Did I say in the most physical era? Where today's flagrant fouls were just common ones? Another huge advantage he has over Bron is his legendary stamina. The guy hardly slept. He golfed, drank beers and smoked cigars before games then he'd expend all that energy at both ends and still have the endurance to take over late in 4th quarters. While Bron sleeps in Michael Jackson's old hyperbaric chamber, spends millions on PEDs, I mean nutrition/supplements, load manages and stopped playing defense many years ago, and he still can't take over late in games. We saw him do a Houdini in all four 4th quarters of last year's WCF.
His team mates said they didn't really know how good he *could* have been because he was golfing and up all night the day before and still never miss practice before the game. I lived through his entire career and I ain't ever seen anyone like him since. You would get highlight plays from him every night.
@@skarath On the dream team charles barkley said they'd go out every night drink, enjoy themselves until 11-12 am then get back to get some sleep. He said MJ always stayed out late until 4-5 am and would get 2-4 hours sleep if that and have more energy then anyone. The guy was a genetic freak.
Although I've seen this tape over 500 times, it never gets old!!! The content, quality and editing is TOP TIER!!! My favorite is when MJ is walking with the Air One's and then the music plays with the highlights and then showing MJ walking as a rookie and then at the end of his career with the Bulls , gives me chillz!!! I'm from Chicago and have seen him play in person and watched games on TV. It was sooo exciting y'all! Just like people from my generation comment.
I respect your era and choice for goat, but for me, I have never seen a player like Michael Jordan. He should be regarded as the best athlete ever, in any sport. And you work your way down from there.
Those are just his ISO HIGHLIGHTS 😮! His overall highlights show how much of a team player he was. How bad he got fawked up by teams especially the bad boy pistons, basically had no team til they drafted pippen and grant, and got Paxton.
Man. I was a lakers fan and I hated Jordan with the passion. Especially cause the 90s were horrible for the lakers. Looking back now, we were lucky to be able to watch him in his prime.
I'm a 47 year old Aussie who grew up and still am a sports nut. I watch our football, NBA, NFL, soccer, cricket and baseball and can confidently say I have never seen an athlete in team sport as dominant and clutch as MJ. It wasn't even a question of will they win, it was what magic would this man pull off this time. Messi comes close as someone who is just so unbelievably gifted but MJ has the edge in just the most unbelievable will to win and supreme confidence that he had the ability to do so. For me, not just the NBA goat, but the goat of team sports. For people who didn't grow up watching him, just try and understand that these highlights weren't just occasions but a all through the game, every game he would just dominate the opposition. You could literally make a 10 hour highlight reel from one season and leave a lot out. Truly amazing.
Never missed a game except when he was injured and during his retirement. He never stacked his team and did not walk out of the court when they’re losing. The 84 Olympic team won against the NBA and he was just a college player at that time. Won all champs without game 7 and never lost in his 6 finals appearances. Had to deal with the Jordan rules by the Bad Boy Pistons. Mind you, he is a 2x Olympic Gold medalist.
How many peeps he dunk on..... ALL OF EM. IM A KNICKS DIE HARD FAN. WE PROLLY TOOK THE BRUNT OF M.J. UNFORTUNATELY. BUT RESPECT IS GIVEN WHERE RESPECT IS DESERVED.
Here’s something we saw back in the day, when MJ was on the court and he saw the type of defense the other team was using, and the players who were playing defense, MJ never hesitated to take the ball to the basket if he had a chance to score the bucket and draw the and one foul…he was fearless, relentless, and creative unlike any player we had ever seen.

While I get what you’re saying regarding getting out the way, that’s one of the big differences between then and now and one of the reason so many of us still prefer the old game. Players today are divas. They sit out all star events, they load manage, the addition of social media etc, they are all so worried about their image. Everyone has such a fragile ego. As you said “they don’t wanna be on a poster” (despite posters not being a thing anymore lol) and that’s the problem. Their own ego won’t allow them to “look stupid” so they rather quit on the play. Back then Jordan or not (and not always of course) you were jumping with them for the block, or to make them adjust in air, make it throw the contact (which accumulated over time wears you down in a game) you weren’t worried about “oh you dunked on bro” nonsense from outsiders
I have a 6 disc highlight of MJ. I will pop in the DVD player every once in a while. There will never be anyone to compare. He did it all. There are a bunch of great players throughout history. You put them in MJ's Era. He will dominate them.
your favorite player can’t be some you’ve never seen play, or just seem from highlights reels, I’ve watched Jordan since 88, & Lebron since 03, & imo Lebron is the better player
Sorry but I have watched both and in no way is LBJ better then MJ, he isn't even better then Kobe !@@fivehundrediq5212there is a reason all NBA players will all say MJ is the GOAT , LBJ is a great player for sure but he will never match MJ as the GOAT.

Will always remember watching a regular season game in ‘86 (I was 14) with my two best friends and telling them, “we have to stop and appreciate, we’re watching Babe Ruth and we’ll be telling our grandkids about him”. And that’s 4 years before his 1st championship. Without seeing him game in and game out, it’s hard to imagine a guy being so much better than anyone before or since. But it’s true…Kobe, LeBron etc are all time greats…and they don’t sniff Mike. Sorry, forgot to add, I was and still am, a die hard Knicks fan.
why i laugh when br@n s@xual clowns say things like "jordan was nothing before 1991" and other lies they tell i have literally never seen in sports debates such liars as br@n s@xuals; they are pathological; they literally will just make stuff up on the spot and start lying
I grew up watching Jordan and knew he was good at finding his teammates as well. Lebron has averaged 2 more assists per game than Jordan over the course of his career. Better for sure. When you look at the whole picture Jordan was the total package. To this day, Jordan is the only player to win defensive player of the year and the scoring title in the same season...that's never happened before and hasn't happened since. The only one in the entire history of the NBA. He also elevated his teams to an entirely different level and the proof is in the titles. I'm not saying assists aren't important, but that alone isn't enough to put Lebron on the same level as Jordan. Jordan also has the most career game winning shots in NBA history. The man was on his own level and there is a reason why every great NBA player will always be compared to him.
What’s also crazy is how he’s rocking all the best Jordan shoes from 1984 to 1998 . If Mike didn’t rock them during this time I don’t wear them . All the Jordan’s their re-releasing with all these different color schemes you can keep them I only buy the original colors that he wore with the Bulls .
An absolutely incredible athlete!!!!! Don't know if ya'll know this but he had a 48 inch vertical and ran a 4.5 40...... You combine that with a 6'6" 225 pounds of lean mean competitive machine that treated every practice and game like it was the finals and working and practicing harder than anyone and completely determined to master the craft that he has chosen..... is the combination for the perfect athlete and the greatest of all time!!!!! I have seen multiple clips of Lebron James walking towards the defensive end while a whole play is going on down there and he just leaves his guys a man down..... Never once in all my years watching Jordan have I seen him do that... he even had food poisoning and puking and sick as a dog as we remember as the "flu" game and this man was still taken people's numbers and giving a hustle play every time!!!!! A true champion and GOAT!!!!!!!! Unless and until another player comes along that can outmatch all of that and do better..... We are still waiting.....but I have hope for that day and my God that player would have to be literally something else out of this world...😅
The highlights don't tell the whole story, though. They are impressive, obviously. He was a savage. But watching him at his prime, you knew he was going to win, it's just that simple. Simply Dominant. He brought ppl to basketball who normally wouldn't even consider watching it. He changed the sport forever.
I grew up watching this man from Houston. No one “got out of the way” of Jordan - you’re being paid to try. Respectfully, I think it’s something the NBA has lost in recent years. There should be NO shame in [your favorite player] trying to stop a dunk on a poster. I took pride in any player trying to stop this man, poster be damned. 😁
We who have seen MJ and the level of play that he displayed night in and night out, let alone the style of play that he demonstrated will know when something greater comes along. Lebron is a great player, but he's just not the one. I really feel bad for the generations that was not able to witness the level of greatness and artistry we all got to see. In 9 seasons he played all 82 games in an era where fouls were like being assaulted. 3 straight seasons where he did not miss 1 game. Never seen quitting, never seen not getting back on Dfense, never second guessing, never not caring about not winning. We see these characteristics in Bron, and these traits are very uncharacteristic when it comes to OUR GOAT. There is no debate and there is no comparison. When we see the one who surpasses MJ, we will know because we are the ones who have witnessed. MJ is the bar.
Jordan had 10 triple doubles in 11 games when he was moved from his position for a part of a season i honestly just forget the year and how many games it was but you can cheack it out Thing is jordan early on had nobody to pass the ball to when he eventualldid and had the right coach he changed his game and his numbers show it
Yeah. He definitely did beyond alright playing at PG for that extended period of time and when peeps go off on how Bron's a better passer you knock'em down with referring to that stint. MJ was a fabulous passer, throwing dimes like it was nothing, just like Bron. He just didn't unless he felt he had to, but there are plenty highlights of breathtaking assists. The same can be said of his 3-point shooting.
Great reaction my man! and I respect that you at least acknowledge why others see Jordan as their GOAT yet not trying to downplay him even if you say Lebron is your GOAT. Can you reaction to Jordan vs Lebron by Danger P Productions?
It's not debatable headbanger. The greatest point-guard all-time said it best "There's Jordan then there's everybody else." Or did the MDE (Most Dominant Ever) Shaq say it best "MJ is a 10. There's no 9s only 7s and 8s." I despised the guy. Not only cause I hated every team from Eastern Conference since I have bled purple & gold beginning with Magic's rookie season, but because he was too cocky and played with too much swagger for my taste. But without hesitation I proclaim MJ to be the GOAT. I've seen him play in person a few times and I've done same with Bron, and I find it laughable that they're compared. Jordan was vastly superior offensively and defensively. And most importantly he had the maniacal mental of killers in serial. Bron's mental is Monistat vaginal.
I was born in ‘86 (almost exactly a year after Lebron) and also in a suburb of Cle. MJ literally erased my favorite sports team of all time, the Mark Price led Cavaliers of the early 90s, from historical memory. I hate him for it. And I love Lebron for helping end our championship drought. But lately, that’s where my love for Lebron begins and ends. He’s not MJ, and he’s needs to stop buying off media members to tell us he is…
@@MrKurtykurt I remember that Cavs squad of early 90s with of course that American sniper (Price), Nance, Daugherty, Ehlo, Ferry, Kerr, Hot Rod Williams and Derrick Chievous, who was a stud at Missouri. They were supposed to be the team of the 90s. The year before (1989) when Cavs still had Ron Harper, they were favored to beat Bulls in playoffs by even Chicago's sportswriters but then MJ hit that shot over Ehlo and the rest was history. Bron is phenomenal - he's just not Mike. And the media can only brainwash the feeble minded. Just like Jim Jones was able to persuade all them heads to drink his fake Kool-Aid aka Flavor Aid.
Monistat vaginal... 🤣🤣🤣 Even if Bron had the same stats and record as Jordan, a few things still set them far apart. There is no Jordan lowlight reel for example to offset any of the highlights. No meltdown disappearance acts to be found even in the regular season let alone play-offs and Finals. No shots of Jordan villain-chilling at the other end's basket instead of hustling back on defense. No shots of MJ stepping aside to let an opponent go to the basket uncontested. No shots of Jordan flopping to the ground, acting hurt and crying like a little bitz after a minor foul. There are plenty of ALL of that with LB. Enough to be EMBARRASSING! GOATs don't embarrass themselves in the arena. They inflict embarrassment on everybody else.
To watch him live was a time to be alive. I was blessed enough to see him 3 times. 2 against the Knicks and the 98 Allstar game. Frist game March 28th 1995 he scored 55 still have the ticket stubs, next was April 10th 1997 and the 98 Allstar game that was special young Kobe was there I just becoming a fan on his. Nothing like it Thank You dad..🙏🏾👑
Watching a normal regular season game in the 90s on WGN.. Jordan put on a show every freaking night and it was insane. He stood out against HOF level players and he NEVER took a minute off. I grew up in Minnesota watching him from a far and saw him a couple times at the Target Center against even KG and my wolves and he played with us like we were children and he was the adult in the room.. and I loved every minute of it. In person he changed the air in the arena when he played. One of those rare times when you know you are watching legit greatness.
I wish they would include a segment that shows all the hard fouls MJ took. That would help to understand what it meant to take it to the rack in this era and makes his ability to finish at the rim even more impressive.
Great reaction and you are right, these highlights are great but seeing it live was another experience. Please react to Jordan’s Voyager tape you won’t be dissected and also if you haven’t reacted to Kobe’s mixtape it’s just as great as MJ’s … ✌🏾
GOAT aside... Jordan was just the most entertaining player to watch... ever... so many highlights... clutch plays and the hustle... he really left his heart and soul on the court
No One in NBA History has ever been: 1. Regular Season Lead Scorer - (best offensive player) 2. Regular Season All NBA Defensive First Team - (best defensive player) 3. Regular Season MVP - (best player overall) 4. NBA Finals Champion - (best team for the season) 5. NBA Finals MVP - (best player on the best team) … all in one single season. Michael Jordan accomplished all FIVE (5) of those historic seasonal moments, FOUR (4) times. And he did it in a full contact league made up of almost entirely of Lebron James-type physiques.
Thank you for watching objectively. The Eye Test never lies in basketball. Lebron is a great, some would even say all time great. Fine. He doesn't belong in the conversation with MJ.
What's interesting about this mixtape is that while it is a string of highlights it still actually captures what it was like to watch him play in a game. The intensity, the relentlessness, all of that was on display during every game he played. The thing about Jordan is his game was beautiful. He's the most graceful basketball player ever--he's the definition of poetry in motion. He somehow contrasted that with insane ferocity and athleticism and honestly there was no one like him before or after. He wasn't my favorite player, Hakeem Olajuwon (another poetry in motion player) was, but if Jordan was playing that was what I watched. He was so amazing that you wouldn't even mind watching him torch your team because you were seeing things that should be impossible. There's really no one close. He stands alone at the top.
Honestly, someone would have to have seen both players play in order to make an informed comparison. Highlight videos will only show a player's best moments, which is exactly what the word 'highlight' means. I saw the majority of Jordan's career (1990's), and there is still nothing like watching him dominate. To this day, I have never seen a player with the combination of fundamentals, athleticism , skill and determination. Many players have some combination of these traits, but no other player has all four. For people who really value longevity in their GOAT case, then they might have Bron or Kareem over MJ. But other than that, It's hard for me to see a valid case against MJ being the GOAT.
If Jordan got 6 NBA Finals losses and Lebron got a couple of more wins, they would be close on that end. However, Jordan was never even taken to a game 7. That meant that he often finished you at your home court
thats why br@n s@xuals just make things up e.g. "jordan couldnt go left" (this tape has him doing so time after time) and "jordan didnt really have a 48" vertical" (its recorded as such form the combine before his rookie season but they lie anyway)
It’s not close. It’s not a discussion. Jordan is by far the GOAT

you asked 3-4 times "how many guys he gonna dunk on" well the simple answer is ALL OF THEM !!!
Everyone!! 🤣🤣
And multiple times.
And note that every defender jumped to defend. This was a different time where they had legitimate rim protectors
The answer is "Yes".
The correct answer is "Err'body"...
Crazy thing is… As great as this mixtape is, it doesn’t even do his career justice. He’s simply the greatest and there will never be another like him.
An underrated statement!
I mean each season had a mixtape full of highlights..it was crazh seeing Jordan making an iconic play almost every night...its not here but he had a fadeaway game winning three that looked like he jumped into the fans seats
MJ doesn't do conservative. He went all out. There was no load management and no resting on defense in order to conserve energy for offense.🙏🏾
Facts 💯💯
MJ is the goat , he never chocked
It's really not debatable unless you think longevity is all that matters
And being big…and wanting to „witness“
I had high hopes for LeBron after Jordan retired, because I wanted someone who was as amazing and dominant as Jordan. LeBron is good, and among the greatest of all time…but for me, I was disappointed.
@@rschloch Agreed 💯

You're DEAD WRONG about one thing that King James did that MJ couldn't touch...when it comes to the FLOPPING GAME!....KING JAMES RULES!!!😎
Jordan dunked on everyone, including shaq....being a boy in chicago during those years where some of the best years of my life....only one true goat....
lol facts… I’ve seen a clip of MJ dunking on DR J too…. And he was his idol 🤣
Folks kept jumpin bc it was normal to get posterized by him. You wanted to be the one guy who blocked it.
Nice reaction. MJ was so good, he had grandmothers tuning in to watch his televised games.
@@subzero308 Muhfuckn facts. I feel sorry for this current generation. We had actual heroes and not cheap imitators.

His impact on the court was.. wow! I love watching the kids say things like "what am I watching" or " this can't be real"
Even if you dont know the Stats between Lebron or Mj. Just by looking at these Highlights. MJ was just an animal and savage.
@@savannasanchez2578it's common knowledge that Jordan had a 48' vertical, since it was measured lol, as was his wingspan and hand width/length.
@@savannasanchez2578 His vertical was measured at 48". That is literally the point of the test, to see what his maximum vertical leap is. Do you think he jumped his highest all the time? FACTS
MJ just moved different. Dayum.
Yup. The only one that came close as far as “consistent energy” is Westbrook.

I’m not sure I would say best athlete.
I’m sure Bo Jackson, Dion would be in the mix for that title considering they play 2 sports and dominated in both.
@@brianmunch1827You are listing versatile athletes. Those guys are definitely amazing athletes, but their athleticism didn't dominate their sports like Jordan's did. I watched all 3 play, for me nobody looked as athletic at their sport(s) than MJ did at basketball.

Didn’t care at ALL who was in the paint 🤣
MICHAEL JORDAN GREATEST OF ALL TIME 🏀🏀💯😎☝️ Facts 🐂 BULLS
Look at those names you mentioned. Young idiots who ONLY know today's game would call them plumbers and janitors which I have heard before. lol

The GOAT
This Brother made the Ball head popular
Great Messi comparison. I'd throw Gretzky into the mix too... of sports dominant geniuses.

MJ the greatest.....no debate

Jordan was a killer! That is greatness.

Pretty sure it was 89 and I know it was 24 games at the point where he averaged 30 ppg, 10 rpg and 9 apg

Q: How many people did he dunk on?
A: Yes!
Even if Bron had the same stats and record as Jordan, a few things still set them far apart.

Facts
To watch him live was a time to be alive. I was blessed enough to see him 3 times. 2 against the Knicks and the 98 Allstar game. Frist game March 28th 1995 he scored 55 still have the ticket stubs, next was April 10th 1997 and the 98 Allstar game that was special young Kobe was there I just becoming a fan on his. Nothing like it Thank You dad..🙏🏾👑
He was unbelievably (fast).. if you wasn't sitting front row you don't even know what happened" until they replay it on the screen...
MJ... the best ever...❤❤
I love these videos..he would be average with the superior athletes of today. 2 minutes later, damn, he really was the best ever😂.
I wish they would include a segment that shows all the hard fouls MJ took. That would help to understand what it meant to take it to the rack in this era and makes his ability to finish at the rim even more impressive.
✊🏼your reactions🔥 respect.
No One in NBA History has ever been:
1. Regular Season Lead Scorer - (best offensive player)
2. Regular Season All NBA Defensive First Team - (best defensive player)
3. Regular Season MVP - (best player overall)
4. NBA Finals Champion - (best team for the season)
5. NBA Finals MVP - (best player on the best team)
… all in one single season.
Michael Jordan accomplished all FIVE (5) of those historic seasonal moments, FOUR (4) times. And he did it in a full contact league made up of almost entirely of Lebron James-type physiques.
No three second rule. You had these big ogre like centers literally camping out in the paint that you had to go up against when charging the rim.
MJ is one of three people to dunk on Shaq
Thank you for watching objectively. The Eye Test never lies in basketball. Lebron is a great, some would even say all time great. Fine. He doesn't belong in the conversation with MJ.
Facts. Lebron is trying so hard to lay claim but he just ain’t that guy. Kobe is the closest to MJ we’ve ever seen.
LeBron doesn't deserve to be mentioned in the same sentence. In my opinion he doesn't even rank in the top 10 all-time.
thats why br@n s@xuals just make things up e.g. "jordan couldnt go left" (this tape has him doing so time after time) and "jordan didnt really have a 48" vertical" (its recorded as such form the combine before his rookie season but they lie anyway)
This is a od comment . Hes top 10 and he aint 10 lol
@@MB-mg6ky top 20- 25 tops
What’s funny is people just propelled LeBron over Bryant, Magic and Bird who imo is who he’s more comparable to (Magic and Bird)
@@seangosa741lebron doesn’t have the heart that the old school players had.
GenXer here. Blessed to be alive and a some as a kid during the greatest era. MJ, Magic, Bird, Kareem, Admiral, Kobe, Shaq and many more.
