It’s to the point and not extreme. Thank you. You provide everything that I need and I’ve already ordered product from your store.
I’m learning so much from you! I feel like I don’t need to view anybody else, which is great, with so much out there, the thought of needing to go here and there just spins my head! Your advice is just so clear. I absolutely love that I understand why I’m doing what I’m doing, not just being told to do this without explanation. Anyway, can hardly believe that something so good is actually free. You take a lot of the intimidation out of this, for sure. Thanks!

Just ordered the bio pack. I’m re doing my back yard and currently pay for service in my front yard. Glad I found this video so that I can spray the front in addition to what they do. Took some stress off

He thinks he gets carried away with his metaphors, but that's his entire channel. Nearly every video he makes he gives you information on a highly accessible and relatable way.
Love the cool season lawn guide. I'm beginner to having lawn program world. Nice to have starting point and then add things in as I go from season to season. Thanks again.
Ordered the Bio-stimulant pack and prodiamine. I’m located in North Augusta, SC, I’m excited to have the best yard in the neighborhood. Love your videos and the information you provide, it has definitely helped me to learn more. I feel as though I can be successful with my lawn.
I built a putting green in my backyard. Did it the right way, hired a company for the construction. Its a sand based rootzone. Nearly 90% sand. TONS of benefits to the surface but also takes tons more maintenance. Ive been using root growth stimulants, inclusing RGS and it really helps the nutrition i put down get used appropriately. Cutting at .135" isnt easy to maintain but the growth stimulants have been a big help.
Just bought my prodiamine from your shop. Little late, hope it gets here quick, soil temps are nearing 50 here in Rochester NY. Either way, $40 and free shipping, what a deal! Thanks brother, see you out in the lawn!
Mr. LCN, last summer I bought a tank sprayer with broadcast application tips (never installed the wand), and its dope for Prodiamine, post weed control and the RGS/Humic12 applications. I'm in the transition zone and in early May applied bio-stimulants + granular (20-8-10) and the turf turned a deep green after a light rain and remained a good color all summer. Never had such success or a nice looking yard before. Also used biostimulants in my vegetable garden, had more food than we could manage (lol).
I’ve become addicted to spraying and praying. I like the idea of spraying every Saturday with different products. This weekend I’m spraying my first app of 18-0-1. I may hit it with 0-0-2 as well.
Out here in the Puget Sound area, we saw a very very early, very warm spell that brought the soil temps above 50 for a week or two back in late Jan, early Feb. Temps dropped after a bit, but it was enough to wake up the grass, germinate some weeds, and start the shrubs putting out a little growth. So now, as we get close to normal pre-emergent time, I'm getting ready to do pre- app and spot post- simultaneously. You aren't wrong - it's been a weird year.
Love the content Allen. Bought a new house last year in April and I swear to Jebus there was a good 2+ inches of thatch. Felt like walking on a trampoline. Ripped out the lawn and reseeded with RTF fescue. Came in great. Soil is crap though....high PH and compacted. Got 5 gallons of RGS, 5 gallons of Air8, and 5 gallons of Humic and went outside today and painted it bbblllaaaackk Throw er down!
This was an amazing video - also great to still see the grass soda I sent still in the shop! I ordered 2 45's of CX DIY and 2 45's of Pre-emergent. Can't wait to throw it down in another 3 weeks or so.
Also if you are new to using that Ortho Dial N Spray, please watch LCN's video on calibrating the sprayer. I had all kinds of problems with mine. Turns out when I measured the flow rate, it was spraying out a 6 gallons per minute instead of the 2 gallons per minute that is labeled! I also had to pull down on that tubing several times where it attaches at the head piece, as shown by John Perry, as it kept clogging up. Hopefully this will improve over time, but if not, I'll get a another sprayer. I do like the simplicity and efficiency of this sprayer once you figure it out. 😎

When speaking about Transition Zone lawns.... I fall into that category. Just south of Louisville Kentucky. When you speak of cold / warm area strategy ebooks..... which would should I go with. Thank you LCN. Love your stuff.
I spray my yard each weekend alternating with those four products. I fertilized myself and my yard looks way better than my neighbors who have companies.
Your neighbors have declared war against you! Another GOAT, besides LCN, also lives by the motto "trust the process" and overall it's worked well for all involved. RTR
Like trying to get 10lbs of info in a 5lbs bag. You did just fine. Keep it simple and don't over think it. March/April window is a busy time for lawn maintenance and there's plenty info to get out there. Always enjoy you spying the pro competition across the street through the lens gathering the latest Intel. That's top priority!...mike
Hey Allyn, can you please do a video on using Hydro-seed to establish a new lawn? My son is building a new home and the landscaper is putting down Hydro-seed to start his lawn. How do you care for this and any other pearls of wisdom would be greatly appreciated. Your the greatest, LCN!
Turned out just fine brah...you worry too much :-) (I actually like the rapid fire of this one...we're hitting the busy season...ain't got no time fo fluff)
Allyn, I own a vacant lot next to my home that I'm going to fence in with the rest of my backyard (I huge plot). My backyard turf is TTF and 95% under control. The lot has several turf types (fescue, zoysia and bluegrass) and of course several weeds. What's the best way to approach grooming the turf in the lot so that it catches up to my backyard turf ASAP? Smoke it, throw down prodiamine, re-seed with my TTF and Tenacity? Watering won't be a problem. I'm in Grandview, MO. Appreciate your help.
I'm in the same boat as you. I can't give you the best advice, as I am fairly new to this stuff myself, but I'll tell you what I did/am doing. Allyn has said in the past, if you have 30% grass, rehab it...don't burn down. I moved into a new home in July and purchased a vacant lot next to the house that was severely overgrown with weeds. And when I say severely...some were 4 foot tall. I weed waked down low and keep short that lot all summer. When fall came I aerated and seeded. When it was time to start mowing again, I kept it higher at the more recommend height of around 3.5-4. Now with this year coming up, I just going to follow the plan. I'll do the pre-emergent as stated, but realize that I will probably have to do some post emergent clean up to get some of the stronger weeds out that winter didn't kill off. I'm going to be using allot of the Bio-Stem pack and carbon earth lines. That lot hasn't had any love given to it...probably ever, so I imagine that it will come a good ways this year, but will take more than this one year to get it caught up to my "house lawn." Rome wasn't built in a day and either will that mess I bought..lol. I'm over in Hannibal MO, so am in the same time area as you. Hope this helps a little.
Thanks for all the info! Just received my first ever shipment if the bio-stimulant pack and I'm excited to try it out. Im really new at this so forgive me if this has been answered already. My lawn here in Kentucky is completely over run by crabgrass and corn speedwell. Im wondering if im just going to be simulating the weed growth if i don't take care of it first. I was planning on doing a pre-emergent along with the bio pack, but will this be a mistake? Thanks 👍
I was talking to my clubs superintendent and interestingly its more common at least in my area to use dithiopyr than prodiamine on golf courses. Not a turf type issue they just think it's better. Very interesting.
Hey Allyn. Your lawns have been remarkably level and your trees are very neatly cordoned off and separate. My new house has four medium sized cherry trees with extensive surface level roots, and the trunks are surrounded by mulch volcano's which I'm working on removing. What do you recommend for uneven ground with surface roots around the trees? Should I expand the diameter of mulch around the trees or add lawn soil to try to build up the grass level above the roots?
Oh man I’m breaking all the rules. 😂. No preM just aerated the snot out of my Bermuda lawn and I’m going to sand smooth it out light top dress and over seed with Arden15! Thanks LCN my lawn sucked before I saw your channel.
Hey Allyn: I did a total renovation last September, complete with a glyphosate 44 kill of the old lawn. New TTTF seed with Scott's starter fert with mesotrione. I'm north of Des Moines Iowa about 50 miles and despite all the rain and lack of sun we had it grew in nicely. My question is about a pre emergent this spring, I'm concerned about a lack of root structure that won't be able withstand another round of the same Scott's starter fert. What do you think? I really appreciate your videos just the way they are, I just have to watch them several times to catch it all. Don't change a thing. PS, Soil temps up here were 38 yesterday but likely to go up significantly this week
In general, we consider seeded TTT to be established enough for treatments if it has been mowed twice. If it made it through winter and starts to green up on its own, then I'd say you will be fine, so feel free to thrower down. Keep in mind, all lawns have some die-back after winter so don't be alarmed if some of yours looks ugly at first.
I threw down some southern weed n feed for St. Augustine a couple of weeks ago when we were transitioning to 65F soil temps in San Antonio, TX. Does it make sense to still apply a pre-emergent or has that ship sailed? I'm a new home owner and my lawn looks like it hasn't been cared for in years. Thank you for helping me!
I would get RGS. That's the staple product of the line. However, we only sell the products in 4 and 5 gallon packs so you may be better off just getting all 4 anyway.
Hey Alan, Moved into a new house in the fall here in Indiana and as the snow is melting I’m seeing an alarming amount of light green moss throughout this lawn. I got a soil test and the PH is 6.3 on average. Do I just need to raise the PH and dethatch to get rid of this moss? If there is a video on moss I’m not seeing it. And all of my searches are resulting in quick fixes, I would prefer to fix the underlying problem. Thanks in advance for any advice! Really enjoy all of your content.
Good video. I am close to u in Florida. Tampa has been Rollin for awhile. I put down my prodiamine wdg @ .40oz/1000 at start of February. my question is should I do a second application. I have Bermuda which I started from seed last year. I still have a few bare spots hoping they fill in during this growing season. Will the prodiamine keep my Bermuda runners from tacking down and taking ground? Thanks for the help, and giving me the courage to thrower down!
Im interested to see some videos on the pull behind sprayer. I have 1+ acres of grass and most of the youtube videos I find only talk about regular lawns (1/4 to 1/3 acre). Cost plays a BIG factor in larger lawns, so for me organic is out and have to buy in bulk.
Another excellent video , my question is im getting ready to order a build box to start the season and was wondering if you recommend the micro green over the Greene punch or pop ?
Thanks Again for all your work Allyn know it is appreciated. Okay here is my question... when is the window for disease-Ex for Northern grasses????? I always see it at L & HD and wonder when is the time to put this down???? 2nd question on first pre-emerg. app if you put down fert. with it......can a lawn food be a sub if it is 32-0-10???? or does it have to be fert....??? I put down a 32-0-10 lawn food last fall per the LCN!!!!!! Bah hiaaaaaa Grassss!!!!!!!!!!
I can see as the snow melts that I am going to have quite a it of vole damage on my lawn. I did get a few of them with traps. Should I reseed or put down a pre-emergent? I am in central Wisconsin. Thanks, Love your videos.
Good morning. I am over here over by there in NWI. I have a newly constructed home with the front yard being sod laid late last fall and the rear lawn being seed. The sod seems fairly rooted for the short time it’s been here. The seed has some germination but nothing to write home about. Can I use the Bio pack on the sod and the seeded portion now? Or on the sod or the seeded portion separate? Should I wait for the lawn to establish more? Thanks for the fantastic info.
Seeded my lawn Feb 5th. Used 2 apps of Tenacity before and at time of seeding. Looks very good overall but clover is breaking out everywhere. What should I use? I was thinking of spot spray with tenacity. I’m located in San Francisco, 500 sq ft. No threat of cold weather issues. I currently have the bio stim pack. Carbon x is on the way. Thanks

I spray my yard each weekend alternating with those four products. I fertilized myself and my yard looks way better than my neighbors who have companies.
Please review a Cub Cadet push mower! Love all your videos!
Here in Utah, last week, I saw Trugreen in their servicing people’s house.... so confused, because there was at least 5 inches of snow!
I love the longer vids 👌🏾
17:15 Thanks for making me spit out my coffee Hane! LMAO
You will never live it down 😂
owned. Hilarious.
Turned out just fine brah...you worry too much :-)
(I actually like the rapid fire of this one...we're hitting the busy season...ain't got no time fo fluff)
hoorah Mot! thank you!!
Thanks for info. I’ve read mixed reviews on corn gluten on various state agricultural extension websites.
Thanks 👍
Hey from NJ! Thanks for the great info!
Hoorah! 👊
"Wederberl" was my old Dachshund's nickname.
Great video tons of information!
He Allyn, if you had budget to get only one Bio-Stimulant product which one would you pick? I'm in Midwest with sissy grass.
I don't got 24 minutes to watch. 7 minutes each day is better
I don't have time to edit it down to 7min so I guess we are out of luck 😂
Always informative even for me in Australia
Pre-Emergents. Throwerdown and hope for the best.
Excellent summary 😂
Any preference to the sequence of which product first, second, third?
I can see as the snow melts that I am going to have quite a it of vole damage on my lawn. I did get a few of them with traps. Should I reseed or put down a pre-emergent? I am in central Wisconsin. Thanks, Love your videos.
Awesome video thanks !
Thanks
