In my opinion, if you have the money splurge and the Apex 4. Adaptive trigger stops are faster to spam than the heavy mechanical switch on the Vaders, and it has better analog sticks than the Vader 4. However, if your main concern is a value proposition, i.e. price-to-performance, definitely go straight for the Vader 4 Pro. Either way they're all fantastic controllers.
I have the Vader 3 pro and my only criticism is regarding the material of the analogue sticks, which are hard and smooth, which does not guarantee a firm grip and they could make analogue sticks available with different formats.
They have a grip tape that you can get (fairly cheap) that is made specifically for flydigi controllers, it’s cut out to go over the controller and also on top of the sticks to give you more grip. I have the apex 4 and Vader 4 pro and it works great for grip.
@Gamerlingual ew I just looked it up and it's $150 refirbished, what is regular price? Only 2 back buttons, no hall effect t joysticks and doesn't have half the features the vader 4 has 🤮 I'd rather over pay for a scuf than over pay for that
@Gamerlingual It's just a Dualsense in a limited edition skin lol, big bloody deal. 😂 I genuinely can't believe that there are ppl out there losing their minds over something so mundane.
i have the apex 4 and its an amazing controller, but the triggers not being mouse clicks are annoying and the 2 middle rear buttons need to be lower than the lower 2 then it will be the cream of the crop
I have apex 4 as well as vader 3 pro. I do play Tekken 8. For me DS4 dpad works the best. Buttons are more separated and more accurate for QCF input as an example. Those flydigi dpads just dont work that well for Tekken at least .
@@Gamerlingual Generally i like the flydigi controllers. Mouse click triggers are nice, adaptive triggers are also quite cool. By the way in games with DS5 support, such as ratchet and clank rift apart, spider man remastered etc. You can turn Apex 4 into D input dongle mode. It automatically gets detected by the game as a dualsense controller and the adaptive triggers work. Quite an interesting thing i found.
its really hard to tell what controller you are talking about in the circle tests, as you mumble them maybe at the picture change, but there is no labels. and for the second one with no error, you donty even say what it is, and just test 2/3 controllers ?... can you fix that or make clear here?
The Vader three pro for like an iPad or a phone do not get it. I just got my Vader Pro today and it did not work. It said it connected to Bluetooth, but it’s not working only in the app in the test section it works.
If the instructions haven’t provided enough help, update the controller via the PC software. It worked for me when I updated the firmware on PC. Your mileage may vary.
See if this works: Vader 3 pro Factory Reset Turned off controller, press and hold the SELECT key + START key + HOME key. Turn on controller, long press and hold SELECT+START+ ⬆️ for 3 seconds to enter calibration mode, and the red light will flash slowly (0.5Hz) 2. During calibration, lightly press the left and right triggers twice, and rotate the left and right joysticks twice; (Emphasize not to press the trigger too hard here) 3. Short press SELECT+START+ ⬆️ to exit calibration mode, calibration of the joystick and trigger can be completed simultaneously. Dude , can you install extra silicon stick grip without contacting the resistance ring when you move the analog sticks? Have you tried it? Talking about Vader 4
@@Gamerlingualthanks for response , i said it because i use silicone grips in all of my gamepad cause i have better grip but in some gamepad that have low height (or there is a ring around the sticks like in Vader 4) when you move the stick far right, left, up , the lower part of silicone grip contacts the main body of gamepas and block the movement.. If you can have a try and and tell me about i would appreciate it cause i am interested in buying vader 4 .. Already ordered Vader 3 (non pro) on offer and waiting to receive it..Both Vader 3 and Vader 3 Pro have not this resistance ring so adding a silicone grip should not be an issue..
Was teh circularity test in Square? That seems awful low, I was under the impression it should be up around like 12% to get an even speed/ feel on the diags for the majority of games. if that was in circle then it seems awful high xD
Like I said, whatever style works best for the player, that’s what will work. I recommend everyone play with the settings. That’s what makes this fun. Just the number of ways to play games is fun.
Not that I know of. My copy is good. I added and tested the different sized thumbsticks and it was fine. It’s more of a problem with the Beitong sticks.
@@Gamerlingual Every single flydigi controller I've tried had the same issue. When I would push the stick one direction and then the opposite direction it would have a click like it wasn't properly seated but it was fully connected. Maybe it's because of the poor quality stick swapping mechanism they use.
apex 4 have broken stick problem, idk about the vader 4 pro. If u want this brand ,better go for their non tension adjustable controller. once its broken, no customer service will help.
@Gamerlingual I use the bfg as well for tekken 8. It is freaking awesome, I was thinking of maybe trying out vader 4 Pro because of the input latency and mechanical face buttons, but I will probably stick to the bfg.
Not sure if they’re the same size joysticks but ps5 kontrolfreeks fit my Apex 4. It’s a tight fit and you do have to force them on a bit but once they are on they’re perfect 👍🏼
I agree with the Ps5 kontrolfreeks, that’s what I use on my apex and Vader controller, also you can get different size sticks that are taller then the ones the controller comes with. This makes it so you don’t have to even use a kontrolfreek.

@Gamerlingual I'm just joking I haven't gotten the vader yet xD
Since I use gyro, I don't really need good thumbsticks I'mma go for the Vader 4 pro
I got the vader 4 pro for $60 and I had a $5 worth in coins on aliexpress, cant complain with a $55 controller
Great deal!
Whattttt i got the 3 for tht on ebay a year ago.. ill get it
Good luck
Here in Brazil, Vader 4 pro and Apex 4 are almost in the same price
That’s pretty wild. I didn’t know that.
@@Gamerlingual Yep, its pretty crazy down here, I ended up buying the Apex 4, thanks to your video, it seems to be better than the vader
I agree. I’m fine with removing the face place to adjust stuff, but on the spot button remapping is very nice.

Amazon has them for like $10. Not bad
Sony Pony's been real quiet since the apex 4 and vader 4 dropped 😅
They did release the Astro Controller for preorder.

You can update the software of your V3P after changing the language of your Flydigi space to Chinese , it will be getting 700 polling rate

cool. thanks 😊
It goes live on Amazon on August 10th
Yup. It was already mentioned in the description and in the review of the video when it was released.
