Scott is good at fighting just because he is. He's known as "the best fighter in the province" of Ontario. Also, according to the comic's writer, when someone is defeated and leave coins, they don't die, they "respawn in their home having learned their lesson".

“Wallace. Big fan.” “Why wouldn’t you be?” 😂🤣😂 One of Chris Evans’s best line deliveries ever. Supposedly that line was inspired by an actual, disappointing encounter the filmmaker had with an egotistical celebrity irl.
I saw this in the theatre all alone. I was literally the only person in the theatre. It really felt like it was made just for me. The humour, the references, the music. Oh, you might want to check out the band Metric. They did Envy’s song. And there is a video game. It, the movie, and the comic all have different endings. Oh, and the anime, which I see others have already mentioned.
Jason Schwartzman (Gideon) is Talia Shire's (Adrian from Rocky) son. He is a musician and recorded under the name Coconut Records. He was also the drummer in a band called Phantom Planet.
There's a really good animated series of Scott Pilgrim that's worth watching. The full song Brie Larson sings is by Metric and the full version is on their RUclips channel
Something that confuses a lot of people in the movie is the 'doors' they go through. This is a major part of the comic books the film is based on and had to be included in the film. However it wasn't possible or easy to fully explain in the film so it's kind of included but not really explained.

Aria, if you want another wild and crazy Edgar Wright film, you ought to seek out "Baby Driver." This movie isn't in my top 4 on Letterboxd for nothing. It helps that it was released the day before my birthday. Best present Edgar Wright ever gave me
This is oddly one of my favorite movies ever. It’s something about how the cuts and comedy feels so surreal but so relatable and real at once.
