- Welcome to GamingSins where we nitpick the hell out of video games.
With Mortal Kombat X being released recently, we thought it was only appropriate to sin the excellent reboot simply known as Mortal Kombat (2011). As you will undoubtedly tell from the video, we had a blast with this one, particularly because we're huge Mortal Kombat fans since we grew up with the series. And yeah, even after playing Mortal Kombat X, the thought still stands that the reboot is still the best in the series...but not by much.

So, a lot of you seem to be pointing out at Sin #52 that it was indeed Bi-Han who saved Earthrealm in MK Mythologies Sub-Zero. Our mistake. We never bothered to play that garbage game. The fact that Mythologies is still considered canon in this game is absurd. So, the sin still stands.

I totally agree with the sin about Jade just leaving Kitana; it wouldn't have been difficult to free her and then go find Raiden. I also have two sins to add here. I get that Liu Kang is in love with Kitana which is why he didn't fight Shao Kahn, but that was a stupid thing to do. Kung Lao is his best buddy, and I think he can be trusted in saving Kitana's life. If Liu Kang had done this, than both Kung Lao and Kitana would be alive. Also, if I were Raiden, I would have allowed for all his allies to accompany him when he spoke to the Elder Gods and not just Liu Kang. Sure, Liu Kang was the champion, but that does not necessarily mean the others should be excluded.

Yeah, I forgot about that. Sub-Zero's ice powers are always so inconsistent outside the fights. Sucks for Sub-Zero fans, myself included.

35:33 that fatality where Jade impales her opponent’s body on her staff and then mounts her head while striking a sexy pose is still in this game. It’s her second fatality. Same thing as the Jax thing where he smashes the guy’s head and rips off their arms. That being said this fatality was kinda lame.
I think he was aware of her second fatality and was making a joke about that needing to be both of jades fatalities or her only one.

Elder gods are like ben 10 strongest alien whom i dont recall the name. Basically its some kind of courtroom which never decides about what to choose but if they decide thwy can do anything.
Bi-han actually had a game just for him, which Shinnok and Quan-Chi where introduced in. He defeated both for Raiden and defended Earthrealm from Netherrealm.
We shouldn't really blame them for not knowing. That game was a legit train reck.

100% agree. A lot of my favorite characters died, and I'll never be ok with that. Sure, Sub Zero came back to normal in MKX, but what about everyone else? THEY MATTER TOO!

Ok so wait. Johnny Cage was in disbelief that Baraka was not really a Tarkatan and in disbelief of their existence. There's just one small detail that's overlooked with this. He thinks Baraka is fake then he talks to Raiden. But he doesn't question how Raiden has no pupils? That his eyes are just pure white? Does he just skip that? That's got to be a sin.

The Deadly Alliance, powerful enough to kill every Mortal Kombat character in the original timeline (not literal) and even enough to beat Raiden, get their asses kicked together by Kung Lao alone, who in turn, after defeating the most powerful alliance, gets killed in 0.5 seconds

***** some people like johnny cage i can understand being killed off, but two powerful sorcerers being able to beat raiden, lui kang and shao kahn is just taking it too far. It is stupid that they get beaten easily on their own yet when they work together they are suddenly invincible.
***** shao kahn was sitting on his throne at the time so he probably couldnt have done anything. Also raiden has beaten lui kang before so killing raiden is like killing lui kang fair and square.

Sheeva
Kitana
Jade
Also, Shang Tsung is being assisted by Quan Chi, Kano, Scorpion, Sub-Zero (Bi-Han), Sektor, and Cyrax.
Sonya and Jax are only there to chase Kano.
Kung Lao snuck his way in.
So basically, Raiden brought two guys: Liu Kang and Johnny Cage.
I know Floyd Mayweather probably wanted a lot of money, but with the fate of Earthrealm on the line you'd think Raiden would have brought more warriors.

Sin 56: Technically he's still CHOOSING to serve the clan's cause. Being turned into a Cyborg forces him to obey orders, which would be problematic if the clan ends up changing it's motives, and Cyrax no longer wished to fight for the cause, as he no longer believes in it. Once again, not a big deal, but I'm as asshole.

In my opinion, The Order 1886 should be exposed, because there is a hell of a lot wrong with that game. However the games that I mostly want you to sin is the entire Kingdom Hearts series, but if you can't make time to do all of them, at least do the first installment.
