Let's make a deal: If Jill lifting the railgun is an ok for some people, then those same people can't whine about Chris punching that boulder ever again. Deal? xD
Oh my god. There was something in the original that WASNT in the REMAKE?!? It's almost like it's supposed to be a different game or something. Go cry a river
Capcom: "we are disgusted by the way Jill was sexualized in the original game" Also Capcom: "here is an enemy that can literally mouth-rape Jill, you will see the animation every time she gets attacked, and you cant skip it"
Wait is this for real? Can you link the source of this info? I just want to taste the hipocracy that Capcom just showed with this game by saying that ridiculous comment.

They cut out a good chunk of the exploration and dumbed down puzzles and completely removed the ones we knew and loved. They neutered Nemesis with scripted attack sequences rather than let him chase you anywhere you went. I agree with you. The original is a million times better in everything except graphics over the remake. You might as well have slapped this into another Umbrella Chronicles type game and cut the middle man of storytelling too. 😑
@@DarkAttackYT sorry but except the story, TLOU 2 is a 10/10 game in every aspect. So much more effort was put into that game. RE3 remake was just a quick cashgrab after a success of RE2 remake
After sin 138, I realized (thanks to you) that Brad turned in a couple of minutes and Jill didn't even after half a day. Like you said "umbrella should study Jill to cure every decease"
Well you could make the argument that the virus infects people at a different rate. Take Resident Evil 4 and 7 for example in RE4 Leon showed that the plaga was infecting him faster than Ashley who had been infected longer than him in RE7 the mold had infected the Bakers( with the exception of Zoey)at a faster rate than Mia the one thing I gotta give this game is that they know that viruses affect people at different rates like actual viruses do
Viruses don’t have a “one time frame fits all” infection rate, they affect different people at different speeds. Children will be affected by viruses much more quickly than adults, women will be affected slightly differently than men, a physically fit person will be affected much less quickly than an unfit person.
The closer you are to your early 20s generally speaking the better your immune system functions, Brad seems about 10/15 years older than Jill plus as has been said viruses affect people differently
2 things, 1) it's cannon that kendo wasn't just some pervy guy in the original. The reason his shop was so empty was because he was handing out weapons to the public. 2) flash drives weren't a thing back there, correct. However they did have usb "keys" back then. Which is what they used in this and the re2 remake.
And Ada's hacker that looked like a taser? If they didn't have electric cars or proper cell phones, how did an x-ray hacking gun that works on sewer fans and incinerators exist in their 1996(98?)? 💀
I might add another sin: at 30:42, it says "roughly half a day later"; that's 12 hours. If it's night (supposedly midnight or something like that) and you go forward by 12 hours you should get to daylight, or dawn at the very least.
When you get into St.Michaels it's dark. But dude, it's early morning in the game so when Carlos gets to her, it's evening already, wheb gets to hospital it's night.
Craygroup IS God Don’t get me wrong, I think that’s as dumb as the next guy. But I was referring to criticisms like having a live action cutscene that’s inferior to the original, or Nemesis being unthreatening, etc.

Cutting like pretty much half of the original in this remake should be about 1 million sins Also nikolai shooting the Vaccine vial is like capcom saying you want Dlc For Resident Evil 3 Remake,,,,Shoot
Right?! His shooting the vaccine made absolutely no sense. He was the character that always knew more about what was going on than anyone else, so he knew damn well what the vaccine was. He also only cared about money, yet he destroyed something he could of sold for more money than everything else combined. Instead of asking "do you know what you've done?" to Nickholai, they should of been asking "why the fuck would he do that? Do you even know anything about his character?!" to whoever wrote that scene. Either way, the answer would of still been a smug "don't know, don't care" from whatever idiot intern wrote that scene.
Nikolai: I can get so much money from umbrella if I blackmail them with this data Also Nikolai: Umbrellas super secret vaccine that can net me millions maybe billions of dollars? NYET! *BANG*

@@ruialves2790 I was kind of joking, but the story of the game is Abby kills Joel for a reason we do not understand at first. You then play the rest of the game as Ellie hunting for revenge and as Joel's killer whose motivations you come to learn but might not be able to resonate with since you didn't understand her prior to the attack. In the end you get your chance with her and rather than giving players a choice the game forces you to accept this apparent lesson of revenge is never worth it. And then things end with Ellie letting Joel's killer go, loosing her fingers meaning she can't play the guitar anymore, and having her love give up on her too so now she has nothing for the sake of revenge she never even took. When you create a revenge story either it ends with getting the revenge or you build up to this realization that it is not worth it. It's not that Ellie let Abbie go, it's ow it happens. In ONE SINGULAR MOMENT, Ellie sees Joel and decides nah I'm not gonna kill her. At no point throughout the rest of the game does Ellie even show a hint of considering not getting revenge. Not to mention she bunchers many others along the way so basically this path of realization is bloodly and mostly pointless since there is no learning it's just hmm, I'm not gonna kill her now, rather than all this just to take a life? And I don't appreciate you getting so aggressive to what is yeah, my opinion. Take it easy, the game itself isn't bad, but the story telling was majorly flawed. So I say it deserves sins, maybe you don't, we'll see that GCN thinks.
I was quite upset when they actually removed the most iconic scene when Nemesis shot down the helicopter in the original RE3. It was such a iconic moment that tricked players to think that they were finally finished the game. The remake could have been a lot better if they don’t delete the contents of the original game so much.
I love when hes talking about how important it was for us to explore raccoon city and how the orignal had a lot more locations to go to. Maybe if the remake kept those areas the game wouldnt be as short as it was.
Even then if they were to making game and Raccoon City again based on the scale that you described you probably only going to be able to explore the basic streets and maybe one hospital and police station with tons of roadblocks
It’s so strange how the Capcom devs called this a “complete game” when so much of the original content is gone. And they end up force feeding us Resistance. Something NO ONE asked for. They don’t even give us a classic soundtrack swap option for this game. They really didn’t care for this at all and it shows.
They just wanted to release it as fast as they could as the hype of RE2 Remake was still quite high. They knew if they waited some more years, it would sell worse. That's why it feels so half-assed, they literally rushed it to release it to fill the space between RE2 Remake and RE Village.
Half assed is right, did we also see the menu screen? The fuck is that? Compared to the other Resident Evils surrounding this trainwreck the menu screen is so tacky, the OG only gave us a very vague glance at what we'd be facing, yet in this game he's placed front and center like they don't give a fuck, just one of the many things you see in the first few seconds of booting this game that tells you they shit the bed on this remake

@@theobscured_one that much is somewhat true. Yeah RE5 for sure has more plot stength since it introduces and establishes the BSAA, an actually important organization for the RE universe. At most, RE4 continued the plotline of Umbrella's schemes. Only pays off at the end where Leon is forced to give Ada the virus sample. (Where it was assumed that it was given to Umbrella) and RE7 is just another story of a bio weapon and a protagonist that gets caught up in it. The biggest plot set up was with Chris Redfield (maybe) not working with the BSAA and with Blue Umbrella for anti-bioterrorist attacks. In all honesty, in the RE universe, "bioterrorism" is so common and prevelant that every story we see from now on is just going to be a new bio terror attack scenerio.
Also notice how when Caro's shot nemesis with the rocket launcher the first time it was completely random and should have caught nemesis off guard but the second time when nemesis was facing him and we'll aware of him and the rocket launcher he lets it hit him?!?

I admire how precise and detailed you were, not only about the description of the sins but also about the comparison between the two RE3, the areas, the scenes, ecc. This video really is one of your greatest job
RE 2 remake was good and did some amazing improvements (Mr. X on top of all) but it's not even close to be a masterpiece, lol. They cut out half of the plot from original RE 2 making the A and B scenarios completely the same with the only exceptions of who gets to the RPD station first and who gets to fight Birkin at the end, removing some amazing alternate scenes that were in the original like Ada's B scenario's 'death' scene. Also by making the two scenarios practically the same in the remake they basically made one of the two stories non canon cause in the remake no matter which scenario you pick for Leon and Claire they always end up fighting the same bosses in the exact same locations where the other one is supposed to have already fought the same monster and always end up having the same story. This was in my opinion like ripping the heart out from the original RE 2, making the remake a way less enjoyable gaming experience for the story. They could manage to make two different stories for both characters in the 1998 game but not in the 2019 one? 🤦🏼♂️ They also removed many other stuff, even characters and enemies. The RE 3 remake basically did the same only this time they practically cut out 90% of the game and made Nemesis a joke cause it was easier, that's why RE 2 remake looks like a masterpiece to you in comparison. But the truth is both original RE 2 and 3 were better in almost everything compared to their remakes. Only proper remake was REmake the very first for RE 1 cause that one included everything from the original game and expanded the story and its contents instead of cutting stuff out like recent remakes do because the devs are too lazy, even though they take forever to make games now they don't manage to make them right or at least as good like back in the days 🤦🏼♂️
The Strong yeah, I totally agree with this. Even tho RE is going back to it’s roots it still lacks love and hard work...Believe it or not I only played the tutorial of Resistance and thats it, it’s fun but not my cup of tea. They wasted a lot of money to create characters that are basically non canon, it should have been mercenaries, hell even raid mode or slayers/survivors from re5 and not separate from the package. I’m deeply disappointed in RE3, considering that I didn’t play the original says a lot... 😔
Capcom is killing the franchise, it's no longer as charming as it used to be (resident evil 7 is a spin off and not main game.... because of dlc rush and no real lore)
@@Desasterc Still Re7 and Re2 remake were great games.I think the problem here is that after the succes of Re2 remake,Capcom decided to remake the third one as cash grab instead of focusing in giving a proper remake.
One to add: when Jill and Tyrell get ambushed by Nemesis at the entrance to the NEST2, they both look in the direction that Nemesis will attack from before turning around towards the door Jill uses to escape. Where was Nemesis hiding in the 3 seconds between Jill and Tyrell looking that way and Nemesis attacking Tyrell?

Thanks for doing this. You pointed out many of the problems that I had with this remake. It was a half-assed cash grab that pales in comparison to the original RE3 and even RE2R.
Hoo! This. Was. Perfect! You just gave me the best thing ever today! The Original RE 3 was my first dive into the series, played it at my friend's house, and absolutely adored it. In fact, RE 3 was what made me play the other 2. And while I thought the voice acting was absolute trash (I honestly didn't describe it that way at the time) I had fun with it. But seeing as how Capcom really just shoved the barrel down the OGs throat and pulled the trigger made my blood boil. All the areas I explored and fawned over, all the subtle details I noticed, and that beautiful "You wanna see S.T.A.R.S?" Quote, made it the best game I had ever played. So I want to thank you from the bottom of my RE loving heart that you tore this remake to shreds. I don't hate this remake, but I heavily disliked it, I only watched Markiplier and Jacksepticeye play it because I didn't want to touch it. And while it may look nice visually, and they made the dodge roll a little less of a nightmare, they essentially ruined what made the original fun to play. Congrats Capcom, while I love the Monster Hunter series, you really wasted the potential for a glorious remake. Sorry to all who stumbled on my rambling. If you enjoyed this remake, then good on you for enjoying what I personally don't.

And even was a close friend with Barry Burton(expanded on the Remake). I believe in Claire's route in the original there was a note in the police station that mentions Kendo but the exact details is forgotten. +Charles Chandler Dino Crisis would be cool to see but honestly I’m worried for it. All of the new remakes Capcom has made have followed the same formula of “let’s redesign everything yet remove stuff at the same time with no given reason” Both games have had removed areas and enemies meanwhile this game just showed that Capcom is willing to remove locations that were very big in the original source material The Clock tower in the original had lots of story important events happen there yet this game just reduced it to a simple background location you never go to. That’s a really concerning sign If Dino Crisis ever did get remade, I hope it’s Resident Evil 1 Remake quality. Where it not only actually stays faithful to the game, it actually adds to it as well with new places and enemies. I remain doubtful but ehh... a guy could dream

In my opinion, the only real sin for RDR2 is the fucking online mode. It'd be a perfect game if it was strictly single player and not marred down by that shitty, mishandled, boring trash. Seriously, they chose to do RDO, which they had no intention of giving a shit about, instead of making single player DLC, like Undead Nightmare 2. I get wanting to do microtransactions and shit, but that only works if your game is actually fun and has shit to do, which RDO is not. Aside from that, RDR2 is one of, if not, the greatest game I've ever played.
I'm new to RE games and the fact that this remake is such a shell of the original just makes me sad. This was one of my most anticipated RE game I wanted to experience because of nemisis alone. Instead I feel I'd be better off just skipping it and playing RE4. The original RE3 looks awesome I wish I was old enough to play these games then
26:33 You should take away like 10 sins for this part. It's easily the most badass Nemesis moment in the entire game and is up there with how brutal he was in the original RE3. Just the way the camera pans in to him throwing a dead body over his shoulder like its trash is so awesome. We should have gotten more moments like this instead of turning him into a dumb Alien/dog creature. Also for 26:52 the C4 is clearly shown on a seat while Jill chases Nicholai to the back of the train and he locks the door on her.
Then why dont you go play the original? This is literally a different game with different intentions. If this game doesnt live up to your nostalgia pedestal, then go play the original

33:06 I think the new remakes are creating an alternative timeline on their own, because when i saw this broadcast on my first playthrough i realized this could cause some severe continuity errors and plotholes. Well, it was a mod after all. I'm pretty sure they'd do her justice if they had intended to use that face model as the original. But, since they couldn't care less about anything in this remake, I think it's pretty safe to say it's too much of a bite to demand an original face model. :D
@@АлександарЦветановић I don't think the casting for Jill was a disrespect per si. But pretty sure the rest of game development was, so in that part I'm with you.
@Dead oRedHood Not really, that’s not how the T-Virus works
I guess Brad should have stocked up on more plot armor. 😆

This game is really disappointing, people had a lot of expectations considering RE2 was almost a masterpiece...
The Strong 💯 percent agree
The Strong yeah, I totally agree with this. Even tho RE is going back to it’s roots it still lacks love and hard work...Believe it or not I only played the tutorial of Resistance and thats it, it’s fun but not my cup of tea. They wasted a lot of money to create characters that are basically non canon, it should have been mercenaries, hell even raid mode or slayers/survivors from re5 and not separate from the package.
Only Remake that is great is RE1 remake. Both 2 and 3 reimaginings are bad. Capcom Confidential Episode 15 confirms that this new remakes are not canon, Originals are and great games. No matter voice although i never had that much problem with it
@@michaelstark8720 And what's worse is they're going straight to "reimagining" RE4 since I guess C:V is a side game and doesn't count? And even though RE4 has been ported to basically every console including Wii since it came out in 2004??
Honestly, kinda glad they're not doing Code: Veronica after this; as badly as it needs a modernization....after what they did to 3, I'd rather just struggle through my Dreamcast original

Dude this is why I love sins videos, for me I'm not the type of person to look at games I've played with a critical eye and see the problems (even tho some problems are kinda obvious) but seriously knowing that the original has more heart into making a very interesting experience and good ideas that made this game what it is today, I would never thought that a company like Capcom would literally do this to one of the most well known tiles and giving it a remake and making it with so many flaws it baffles me on what they messed up on and inconsistencies they made it's just shocking on how they think it's good enough to sell and not at least take a second look at it, but really I thank you for opening my eyes for the videos man I do hope to see another one of these soon

Surprised you didn’t rag on the unnecessary redesign of the hunter gammas, from cool scary frog monster to kill kfc with tentacles
Man I remember looking at the trailer for this game and thinking the Gammas mouth grabbers were like the newly designed Grave Digger babies for this game. So disappointed when I played the game and found out they completely removed them and just gave it to froggy.
Eternal Memeage same, but I was more disappointed that instead of remaking Dino crisis they failed an re3 remake
+Charles Chandler Dino Crisis would be cool to see but honestly I’m worried for it. All of the new remakes Capcom has made have followed the same formula of “let’s redesign everything yet remove stuff at the same time with no given reason” Both games have had removed areas and enemies meanwhile this game just showed that Capcom is willing to remove locations that were very big in the original source material
The Clock tower in the original had lots of story important events happen there yet this game just reduced it to a simple background location you never go to. That’s a really concerning sign
If Dino Crisis ever did get remade, I hope it’s Resident Evil 1 Remake quality. Where it not only actually stays faithful to the game, it actually adds to it as well with new places and enemies. I remain doubtful but ehh... a guy could dream
Eternal Memeage I agree, but from my point of view, I was always a bigger Dino crisis fan. And re fans got re7 re2 remake and re3 remake in a row and we got nothing but teases.
Tbf, those sewer monsters were one of the only legit scary monsters in the game.... Until you realise how easy they are to kill. Also that waterfall near the lab? I always expected one to come from there to surprise me, and so was always on guard, but it never even happened.
I was far more pissed that in the entire fucking game, regardless of difficulty, we only see 4 fucking dogs. Just 4 dogs, in the entire game.
RE3 was the first Resident game I played through myself and I've always loved Nemesis(just about to finish a sculpture of him that I've made in polymer clay)so I was overjoyed when I heard about the remake.
Then I saw the redesign......
I figured I'd hold off buying it until they released a DLC for his original design but then I heard about how much they changed(cut from) the original game and I thought, fuck it.

When are you sinning Red Dead Redemption 2?
@Steven Fontaine but he said he was going to do it at the end of his RDR1 video
In my opinion, the only real sin for RDR2 is the fucking online mode. It'd be a perfect game if it was strictly single player and not marred down by that shitty, mishandled, boring trash. Seriously, they chose to do RDO, which they had no intention of giving a shit about, instead of making single player DLC, like Undead Nightmare 2. I get wanting to do microtransactions and shit, but that only works if your game is actually fun and has shit to do, which RDO is not. 33:06 I think the new remakes are creating an alternative timeline on their own, because when i saw this broadcast on my first playthrough i realized this could cause some severe continuity errors and plotholes.
