It's more tied to the animated series canon than anything (but not part of it), other than the whole Jason Todd/Tim Drake swap the animated series did, they pretty much used the DCAU as the initial history and setting for the games. After all Paul Dini was one of the main writers, he went with what he was most comfortable and familiar with, Even down to getting in a lot of the same voice actors.

Freeze was blackmailed by the Joker to find a cure for his Titan Illness. Freeze was easily able to develop a cure for the disease, but he found that it degraded too quickly to be used, and required a restorative enzyme. As part of the gang war, Penguin wanted to hurt the clown. He stripped Freeze of his suit and weapons. Freeze and his suit were displayed separately in Penguin's War Room and the Armory respectively. In contract killing, it is generally a very bad idea to stray too far outside of established boundaries, I.E. if your client has ordered a list of targets and a specific order of which and when to take them out, you stick to that list rigidly, otherwise you could screw their plans up badly enough that they order an assassin to kill you.
Insight: Strange constantly saying "Protocol 10 will commence...." is because Batman hacked into his communications right after climbing the ACE Chemicals building. With the being said, I don't think Strange would find it necessary to speak to Bruce (whose in the elevator) using the overall intercom that blasts his voice across Arkham
It was interesting the first time round, the second time I did it in about 6 minutes. Its really overated. Its like the deathstroke fight in origins, the first time is hard and challenging, the second time you already know what he's going to do before he does it. It's the same with Mr freeze. He just kind of walks around looking for you he dosent do much to actually go out of his way other than doing one thing at a time like freezing the vents or shit like that. IMO the best boss fight or most fun for me was clay face because when you used the sword it was, different. Slice and dice mofucka

Ra's Al Ghul was not the best boss battle in the game. That award goes to Mr. Freeze. It is also the best boss battle in the Arkham series (unless Arkham Insurgency has a better boss battle). Mr. Freeze Also gets the award for most creative.

I can think of a lot of reasons why mr. freeze might have freeze grenades. The blast radius is probably larger, so good for groups of enemies. He could also enemies behind cover easier, or minimize exposure to himself by tossing it around corners, through doorways, or down a hole.

Ra's didn't train him, that's just the heavily altered story of the Nolan films, which are not comic accurate. Though you are right about him knowing batmans identity and him being impressed Strange figured it out.
It's more tied to the animated series canon than anything (but not part of it), other than the whole Jason Todd/Tim Drake swap the animated series did, they pretty much used the DCAU as the initial history and setting for the games. After all Paul Dini was one of the main writers, he went with what he was most comfortable and familiar with, Even down to getting in a lot of the same voice actors.

As you learn from the audio files that you can unlock in the game, Penguin captured Freeze thanks to Strange who had him already aprehended and stripped him from his suit.

In contract killing, it is generally a very bad idea to stray too far outside of established boundaries, I.E. if your client has ordered a list of targets and a specific order of which and when to take them out, you stick to that list rigidly, otherwise you could screw their plans up badly enough that they order an assassin to kill you.

It was interesting the first time round, the second time I did it in about 6 minutes. Its really overated. Its like the deathstroke fight in origins, the first time is hard and challenging, the second time you already know what he's going to do before he does it. It's the same with Mr freeze. He just kind of walks around looking for you he dosent do much to actually go out of his way other than doing one thing at a time like freezing the vents or shit like that. Ra's Al Ghul was not the best boss battle in the game. That award goes to Mr. Freeze. It is also the best boss battle in the Arkham series (unless Arkham Insurgency has a better boss battle). Mr. Freeze Also gets the award for most creative.

okay for that sniper scene with the auto gun here's a better idea. have two face once he knows batman is in arkham city lure batman to the court house to save catwomen and instead have dead shot do the shot since he shows up later anyway and have him leave a joker trap behind in the nest to make batman go after joker it's still not great but it makes more sense than the original

I can think of a lot of reasons why mr. freeze might have freeze grenades. The blast radius is probably larger, so good for groups of enemies. He could also enemies behind cover easier, or minimize exposure to himself by tossing it around corners, through doorways, or down a hole.

He’s sent in as a prisoner with a reason and a goal, not actually imprisoned. The difference is once the goal achieved - he was supposed to be out. Also, he got his costume and weapons plus some caches prepared for him.
