Had just turned 19yrs old, Freddie, Lora and I, along with her sister, attended one of these 1975 Forum shows. Freddie and I each dropped a hit of acid on the ride over from the San Gabriel Valley. When 'If You Can't Rock Me' segued into 'Get Off My Cloud' tears started to roll down my cheeks. Couldn't understand why, but now years later looking back I believe I had felt the future. Freddie left for Florida in '78 or so, would never see him again. He's now passed. I last saw Lora about that time too, cept for that one August night in the mid '90's when thinking of her I drove to her mothers house hoping she still lived there. Approaching the house I could hear her voice thru the screen door. She told me that she knew that I had loved her and she still had all the things I had given her. It's now been over another 20 yrs and the Internet White Pages says she still lives there...I'm thinking I should drop her a line. 'Wild Horses' was her favorite Stones song & I always think of her when I hear it. My favorite was Gimme Shelter ruclips.net/video/xNqTYGsFdfY/видео.html
When I saw The Stones in Madison Square Garden I was 15 years old in 1975 the band was tight, and yes I've been a huge Stones fan since I was in diapers and I'm wearing one now -Kidding, LOL ! As much as I loved Mick Taylors guitar work with the band. And the more I look back at it The Rolling Stones made the right pic bringing in Ron Wood as Taylors replacement, and Wood sounds great here.. Yep !
amazing charlie playing !!!! here you can see why the stones has that irresistible groove. overwhelming way to use the hi hat and the snare. charlie is the best !!!!
Saw Stones in Baton Rouge, I guess it was in '75, cloudy memory back then. The show was great. As we were walking toward the LSU assembly center, I met a woman with what looked to be a 6 or 7 year old boy, walking with us. She had on a sheer white blouse, and I mean sheer! I knew this was going to be a great day!
I don't agr either. I saw the Buffalo NY 6/1975) performance...to date, and after seeing the Stones over 10 x Times spanning the 70's, 80's, 90,s and 2000's...the TOTA show still reigns as my favorite. maybe it was because I was 16...or maybe because it was the 1st time seeing the Stones....BUT...none the less it was my favorite. One thing that presents a problem for many younger and/or casual stones fans is that the so-called 'sloppiness ' is part of what makes the stones- the stones!
Now, it’s all Technical crap and it has no human nature to it at all. I like the ability the stones have two make you feel grooves & imperfections that provoke responses, other than robotic type crap.
1995 e 2006,dois anos diante de Vossa Majestade E seus súditos,boas recordações;Maracanã em 95 e Copacabana,com 2milhões de pessoas na areia,em pleno calor carioca,Foda!!!!!
Love You Live in 1975?Don't think so.My copy of it says 1972,and Mick Taylor is on every song.Taylor left after Goat's Head Soup in 1975.Ronnie isn't on a single song from Love You Live.He wasn't with the Stones when it was recorded.
oleole52 must be a very unique copy you have then. Presumably it doesnt have the songs like Hot Stuff that were released a few months earlier on Black and Blue - the first album Ronnie played on....and it probably doesnt have the band intros either where Jagger introduces him. Taylor left in december 1974 by the way - a few months after the release of Its Only Rock n Roll. Goats Head Soup came out in August 1973. LYL was recorded in 1975, 1976 and 1977 (although the sleeve says 76-77)
Goddamn this version is just smokin fuckin hot. It's even a tad punk, dare I say. Amazing accompaniment on the piano by Preston. Wow. Just wow. With Mick at his most gorgeous, too!
James McDonald Well, I didn't say it was better, just different. I agree w/ you about the original versions; you can't beat the Mick Taylor years. I just thought this was surprisingly great:)
This is when the Stones were just Fricking ON FIRE!!!

Stones Beautiful - great performance!

Saw em' 3 times in 75', at the old Milwaukee County Stadium (The Eagles opened the show) and both nights at the old Chicago Stadium.....memories
Cynthia Martinez agree totally, Mick dancing wild n free just can't get enough of LA forum
The best post Mick Taylor tour for sure.

Wow love this version soo much!! It's so rough and so rare! Mick Jagger , so sexy, in his prime time!
Ronnie' s solo !!!
Before he became more and more lazzy.
Great Song and Show 👍👍 Rolling Stones
Mick Taylor we miss you…….

The 75 tour had the best songs
They may at times have been sloppy but always fun and great

TOTA'S WAS MY FAVORITE STONES TOUR... BUFFALO & TORONTO '75!!!!!
keith Richards arrangement....awesome !
Jagger rule the rock and roll
Love this version, but Preston is fucking it up with that dopey keyboard sound.
チャーリーのハイハットが、緊張感を産み出して❗
i think this is from the 1975 LA Forum show (TOUR OF THE AMERICAS)
Alot of people say they were sloppy performance wise at this show and on this tour. I dont necessarily agree on that.
The same here :)
une version que je ne connaissais pas ou l'on entend enfin que ronnie n'est pas un stone de secours
Keith.
Odd not hearing the background vocals (which are a big part of this song) and no one singing the "rape, murder" chorus like on the original.
fucking good tour and 1976 kicked ass they dont give a fuck who likes them they do what they do.....too stoned too roll
A very good Ronnie Wood. Never reached that level again afterwards. Too much booz and drugs destroyed his playing.
i agree
He's not Mick Taylor
@@skinnypete4235 By far....

Love You Live : 1977. With Ronnie.

Taylor left in 1974 after it’s only rockin roll album.
dunno if Ronnie is better i do hear it being played differently. i listen mostly to the solo in ycagwyw from the album
Goddamn this version is just smokin fuckin hot. It's even a tad punk, dare I say. Amazing accompaniment on the piano by Preston. Wow. Just wow. With Mick at his most gorgeous, too!
+pup lover It completely changes the tone of the song, I feel like the dark side is lost and it loses the songs impact
James McDonald Well, I didn't say it was better, just different. I agree w/ you about the original versions; you can't beat the Mick Taylor years. I just thought this was surprisingly great:)
Satan himself is using Jagger!
Thanks Satan :)
MICK TAYLOR WE MISS YOU
Ronnie killed this guitar solo, Mick Taylor was not missed. This is a great, unique, and smoking hot version.
Did you ever seen the Stones with Taylor on stage???
at this time ronnie was not very far from mick taylor......
The solo by Ronnie is every bit as good as any solo Mick Taylor played for this song. Excellent playing by Woody!
I thought that too. He kicks ass in this version.
***** Um...no. You obviously don't play professionally.
***** One of us makes his living playing guitar, and guess what, it's not you...
***** Yes, and that's because I'm the one with the educated opinion on the sugject, not you.
ROFL
mick sings to fast sometimes
hes drunk
sorry, but Jagger is simply weird on this.
No, he's just amazing.
This song sucks live without Mick Taylor
Off key. Out of sync. Off beat. Typical Stones without Mick Taylor.
Yeah ?well you know..that’s just like your opinion man
