Damn thats darker than what i was expecting, and from a villain i haven't heard of no less. I can see why people wouldnt like a story like this, but i feel tales where the hero doesn't always win are important since there's only so much you can do as a human being no matter how able you are. When they're tastefully done they stick with you forever.
I think there's something really interesting here with Daredevil as well as he gets that full swing back with his stories from what i've heard from you in past years. We see him screw up, we see the ramifications and consequences of his screw up, and then we get him clawing back to hope or normalcy over a long period of time. His failures seem to follow him throughout his stories and his redemption is long rather than resolved with each run.
I'd love an approach like that with a hero like The Hulk, that'd be interesting.
Hulk did with Immortal Hulk hitting a lot of storylines touched upon in the last 20 years + I do wish more heroes did do that. Currently Jed's Moon Knight run is doing the same as well!
I like how another villain hits daredevil where it hurts, sick of it being kingpin all the time
I also like when we switch up villains! haha. I do love Kingpin but change up is nice.
"So today I am here to talk about Daredevil" might be the best 9 words any video can begin with.
