Just a heads up, a show where each episode tells a completely different story is called an anthology series. Twilight Zone is probably the most famous example.

Character development isn't the sole metric of "substance", not to mention that there's plenty of it in the comics, can't really compare them to a damned 5 minute short
@@samueloak1600 It isnt the sole metric, true, but its a main factor in being invested. And while we cant compare a 5 min short to the comics, the short encapsulates a lot of the issues I personally have with the comics. Me not enjoying the comics does not mean that YOU cant. Its just preference
@@samueloak1600 Yeah, the comics do have character development but it prioritizes shock value over it, and I dont mean the tv show doesnt do shock cuz God knows the be doing that shit too 😂 but I believe the tv show manages to strike a better balance with it

Besides diabolical, that gets a pass… ish. The last episode that’s cannon has some modern day dialogue problems if you listen to it and see if it matches up or makes sense with season 1

But isn’t a threat since any supe can go toe to toe with him. And much like in the comics. Would probably win if they know how to fight. Season 3 is a good example if you’ve watched the show
