- We want you to find the shiney too! In this video we show you EXACTLY where you can do some panning on the Rogue River in Southern Oregon and find some gold. Everything from micro fly poop, flakes, and even little pickers. Cant wait to get back to this awesome new spot. Let us know if you make it out this way and maybe we cant meet you there!
Great video!! Thanks for helping the side of the road adventurers!
Thanks for the video! I hit up that spot, found my own crevice, and had color in every pan. No pickers but 5-15 colors in every pan. 👍
Hey Keven, Luke here 6-3-2023, I just met you at the Merlin, LIL Pantery. Thanks for the gold-finding tip. Nice to meet you.
I watched your video and went to that exact spot and absolutely loved that place! I found a lot of little gold and it was amazing! Thanks a lot and I just subscribed.
thanks for the video. you inspired me to make a trip to south oregon!
Brilliant stuff sharing is caring guys ,seen some nice gold from that river over the years . I'm sure the biggest clean ups I've seen are from that river .☠👍👍👍⛏💙
Back when you could dredge the river it wasn't uncommon for people to be pulling an oz or more of out there a day. Hopefully someday soon they will open the waters back up to us.
@@hhprospecting7508 I sure hope so my friend
Hey gentleman thank you again for the ride out of the rain you gave us after this shoot !
Happy to have been able to help! Look forward to going back packing sometime!
@@hhprospecting7508 it's gonna be a real good time !
You also have to be careful as there are patented claims around whiskey creek on the rogue trail.
So no wet samples are taken from the streambed? Most of the crystals were located from rock ore dug from river banks? Good job, finding what you did! Fun watching.

Just in case anyone has trouble finding the spot
Lol pretty sure we gave pretty good directions. If you can't figure it out from that, probably shouldn't be out in the bush alone.... but thanks!
Thanks! I could not understand any of the detail words with such a heavy American accent as cool as it sounds aha
Perfect thanks the description was vague. way further than I was looking on the map. heading there in 2 weeks. so no sluices or shovels????
Nice find! makes me want to go.
Go out and get you some shiney Matt!
Nice video. I want to visit Oregon one day and hire you as a guide to get me started.
That's the most I've heard Travis talk. Good vid bud! Good gold too!
The bearded one is Travis haha I'm Keven. Travis pretty quite guy all the time lol
@@hhprospecting7508 Ha! Yep got my wires crossed:)⛏⛏
All groovy!!!!
Great work guys.
Thanks buddy!
That was some nice gold in your pan. I just subscribed to your channel. :)
Hey Kurt! Thanks for subscribing buddy!!! Pretty impressive AU for only being 25 mins off the I5 and a 15 min walk in. We definitely plan on going back to that spot and a little further down river to see what else we can turn up. Good luck to you!
@@hhprospecting7508 I live in the Georgia mountains in the gold belt so there is gold over by me also.
We use gold hog mats in our sluice boxs. I know they are from Georgia. Lots of course big gold there and gems!
Wooohooo! I live in Brookings and have been planning on going prospecting for about 3 years haven't gone in quite some time. No sleep boxes allowed there? Keep up the good work guys been watching your videos and I like your content thank you
Graves creek right below the bridge pays really good. Or at least it did back in the 89s when I worked it.
Where can i find more of you guys!? I'd love to support any business you have
nice spot fam. wow look at that AU. GOLD SQUAD OUT!!!
You should get up there at get you some too!
I'll never make it to Oregon, But thanks for the fun adventure.
I used to stay up there off grave creek....Merlin is my favorite place in the world! Go GreyBacks!
Thanks for the spot guys
89th👍
I'll be down that way this Friday. Getting excited
Good thing he wrote he loves Kristi there, people would definitely never be able to find that trail. 😅
Pitter patter, you better get atter, your burning day light 😅
Nice! I'll keep that in mind if I ever get Back up thataway! Ya never know where I'll turn up!😂😂😂
Come get some Lester!
Good stuff
I thought it was hands and pans only
good videos as usual B-)
Thank you :)
Good gold video

Man... I tell you what... people probably think I'm trying to sell crack out there on the river ;)
How much can a person expect to find in a day? Gram wise
Ok 😎😎😎😎😎😀
Come to cottage grove hit me up. And we go digging
So along the rogue river is the best spot?
There definitely some great deposits all up and down that river!
Where is a great place to camp by rogue river? My son bday we want to gold pan and camp swim it has to be safe water for swimming for my granddaughter we will be coming from eugene...is there a good camping spot free?
Yup. You'll want to go to Enis Riffle in Galice if you're looking for somewhere easy access. I imagine you mean during the summer? Way to cold to be getting in the river now.
I’m in Phoenix just south of Medford and I was thinking of heading out there today with my friend chewy for some panning. Might bring my nugget bucket too. Any chance you guys want to collaborate?
Working today and tomorrow. Sorry buddy. Hope you find some good stuff!
Phoenix... I hope you and your people are safe. Nothing compared to most; my storage unit burned down there
H&H Prospecting oh no😫 it came within a block of our house.
Lots of black sand to process through a blue bowl but other than that fools gold on the surface lol lots of it everywhere.
Oh yes! Lots of it. Gets me everything until I start spinning the pan and see it all come out. What really gets me is when your sluicing and you see all "the color" in your tailings. Do you have a different channel for prospecting; or you buddy? Super happy to hear the fires didn't make it you.
Brutal fires, they need to shine some quarters in the water rural turn it up.
Not exactly sure when you mean.... the fires didn't make it this far
@@hhprospecting7508 Sweet deal!
Hey mate! I moved to Oregon 7 months ago and have been prospecting but have always wanted to hit some of that bedrock with my gold bug2 maybe we could colab??
That would be awesome! We just got a gold bug2 as well! Either message us on Instagram or send us an email :) @Handhprospecting Handhprospecting@gmail.com
@@hhprospecting7508 email has been sent 👌
Went there today but the water was so high
Water levels are definitely way higher during the winter months. Stay safe out there
@@hhprospecting7508 I’ve been there a bunch but your video made me want to go again.. I find a bunch in gold hill a lot.. I live in Medford. You want to ever collaborate I do a bunch of videos myself. Ever been sunstone mining ?
Send us an email or message on Instagram and let's see if can't do something! Neither of us have but definitely want to! Definitely done a lot of fire agate hunting though. Handhprospecting@gmail.com @Handhprospecting
Looked like Kristy wrote that herself in need of attention. Nice gold guys!! I wonder how much Starlord took.
Hahaa. I've been checking his pockets... I more worried about Travis lol. I was watching one of our older videos and watched him stick rocks in his pocket.
