Thankyou man, hey I would like to meet up with you in June if at all possible. Me and a friend from JB Prospecting are going to be down there and meeting up with Todd and a few others. It would be an honor and privilege to meet you in person man 😁🤙
@@WestCoastGoldProspecting Thanks for asking.... I was into gold metal detecting in the mid 90's with my Whites V-SAT living down in San Diego & driving to Yuma AZ area to prospect... I now work for a large sporting goods store chain and can buy a Minelab Gold Monster detector and a pin pointer, pan kit and such for a LOT less than retail as an employee.... I also know all the small creeks and remote gold claims from remote hunting ,fishing and mountain biking and so its a " No Brain'er " ....cheers :)
Brother! 💪 Awsome video👍 I can't wait to come down. Your putting in the work and that will bring great riches. Not just gold but the message your sending....like who gives a fck if there's snow on the ground and it's below freezing!!! LET'S GET AFTER IT!!!!! Man I look up to you with your 👉never give up attitude👈 ✌to you my Brother
Thanks bud, it was cool and all but when we live this close to the applegate it’s hard to want to go anywhere else 😂🤙. For me anyhow. Unless it’s down to the yuba.
OG Prospecting , right on. I think Justin and I will be going down there for his birthday. I’m gonna hook this kid up 😁🤙. Wish you were able to go man. That would be awesome.
I was watching channel Bearkat4160 a few months ago and he was finding a lot of gold while dredging in the Rogue River. Might be the best spot in Oregon...would love to live there and make use of my huge pry bars...get some of those stuck rocks loose !!
Howdy Old Boy 👋, thanks for watching 😁🤙. And yeah Bearkat got really really nice gold but unfortunately we can’t dredge in this river anymore. The banned it 😔. And bring them pry bars on over and let’s find some gold 😁👍
@@WestCoastGoldProspecting AW MAN !! I thought only California banned the dredging...for aquatic life sake and stuff. Well...poop. I've lived in Indiana most of my life...have never made it out to Oregon. Have seen some beautiful footage of the scenery out there and would just love it...except for the silly laws against having fun.
Hi Damon, getting caught up on your vids. The Rogue is a beautiful river. Hopefully the fires didn't get too close to you. Once again, you do a great job on the videos.
Appreciate you Bill 😁🤙, yeah the fires destroyed nearly a whole town I live by. I got evacuated 2 separate times in one night. It came to across the street from my house. We got lucky I guess.
😂🤙, I have only ever liked the Seahawks because of my dad and growing up with watching them with popps. I don’t know that I have ever watched a beaver or ducks game to be honest. 😬 Sorry I just grew up a little different I guess. Haven’t watched two minutes of any NFL games this year 🤣. I gave up when they took a knee and gave the finger to the USA.
@@WestCoastGoldProspectingThis is good...I was afraid you'd be a Duck fan. I graduated from OSU ('77). I'm a Viet Nam vet, two tours between '66 and '68. I haven't watched any pro sports since they thought it was cool to disrespect our country and flag.
I've found 2 bottles before...crazy how someone could do so much work and just leave their bottle. And like I said in my one video, some days you make $50 and some days you make 50 cents...but it's still fun getting it!
That is awesome, but a little unfortunate for the person doing the work. They left beer cans in that same spot so I don’t feel so bad 😁🤙. And yeah that’s the name of this game as far as the amounts made each trip. Always enjoy being out there though. See you soon man ✊️
Good video. Just wondering if you ever metal detect in that area prior to digging? Just looks like it would be a good area to try. Thanks,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, awesome on the found snuffer man.
Thanks man, I appreciate that. And no I don’t, I haven’t bought a detector yet. I will have one this summer and be able to do that though. Thank for watching.
@@WestCoastGoldProspecting I just watched one yesterday where he was in an area like you are in, and he tool a break to metal detect the moss-- found a nice picker in it.
Note that the area you are working is limited to "Hands and Pans Only." No tools such as pick, crow-bar, or large screwdriver are allowed. Also, when the Grave Creek Bridge is within sight, you are not at Rainy Falls. And yes, BLM can use your video as evidence to cite you.
Well that’s news to me. I am still new to southern Oregon and this spot in particular. 😬 Now I know. Not that I really care about the silly laws they have placed on us. It kinda pisses me off that they think they can control us like they are attempting to do. No dredging- no suction tools- no pry bars or picks. RIDICULOUS. But thanks for the update anyhow. I do appreciate you.
Cookie Cache , you do know what I mean right ? Doesn’t it make you mad as well ? Or are you a prospector ? And I am not trying to be disrespectful to you at all. Just in case you took it that way. And I do appreciate your info. I won’t be going there again. Gold wasn’t good enough for the 1-1/2 hr drive one way. Have a good day my friend 😁🤙.
@@WestCoastGoldProspecting I remember when the west coast was built by miners for miners now that the shiny is out of the ground and government has cash flowing they limit the present day prospectors and miners with BS laws. Anyways heavy pans from Medford
@@WestCoastGoldProspecting When all the new laws came into effect, I accepted a position working for Josephine County as a Mining Advisor (I learned to pan gold from the Illinois River in 1976). I thought the best way to fight was from the inside. Such was not the case. The politicians passed their laws prohibiting motorized mining anyway.
Ordinance number please?...to back up your claim that "hands and pans only" limits the use of shovels and other small hand tools. I'm just not a big fan of taking somebody else's word for it, as MOST people vomit their opinion to others, rather than fact.
Hey Damon great video buddy👍 when you guys come down in June you’ll get 100 times that hopefully ! Have a great week brother 👍🇺🇸😎⚒🍀
Howdy Todd, thankyou man. I appreciate you my friend. I can’t wait to get back down there man.
It's all fun man. Good luck
Looked like a great day out on the river !!!
It was a good few hours. Looking forward to this coming weekend 😁🤙

Very nice keep digging those cracks all the way to the bottom and use a hand broom . The bigger chunks are down there
Thanks Bob, I’m going to do that 😁🤙 . Thanks for watching my friend.
That area has better gold for sure then down here in the gold hill area. Right on bro !
Not to shabby I guess. We definitely got spoiled with our other spot.
Right on Damon, It's sure fun to check out a new spot and especially when it has gold!!
Thanks brotha, I definitely agree man. Love being out there, especially when there is good gold.
Not only did you earn my subscription, but 2:22 in and I was tapping my foot and bobbing my head to the 🎶

Thanks man, it’s been fun for sure 😁🤙. Hope you are doing good yourself.
Kool... at least you got some color Bro!!
Thanks man, it was nice country but the gold wasn’t the greatest. Headed back to my creek next week 😁🤙
good video!
Thankyou Jan 😁🤙
I've seen alot of good gold from there look forward to seeing more
Well thankyou, I will be putting out one video a week and hopefully the gold will be just as good 😁🤙. Thanks for watching.
