Nice Pappy! I have a 6 inch and 8 inch. I Love em. I also love the fact that you can buy multiple mats for your sluice, so essentially, with one sluice tray, you can have multiple sluices for different uses! Good luck and I hope your Covid sickness is on the outs. Get better Pappy :)

Awesome John! We’ll head on over to their site and get yourself a new mat. They are actually pretty affordable. The vortex dream may you can definitely run unclassified through. Hahaha! Yea Platinum would be awesome to find. It does exist in small amounts around here but it would take eons finding enough for what you need. Platinum is no joke expensive :)
@@StoneyCreekSparkchaser completely agree. I personally always valued platinum as a much more precious mineral. As a suggestion for when you make your video on PA rules and regulations is please provide screenshots or links to where ppl can go to see for themselves if the area/location is allowed to be prospected and how/with what equipment. Most important part is knowing where this can be done, second most important is how. After looking at all the alphabet soup(DCNR, us.pa.gov, etc and all the maps, i cant figure out what the "natural area" stands for? Can this area be prospected? Honestly after a couple days of research PA does not seem to be so "laxed" with the rules and regulations. No trout streams, no state game lands, no to navigable waters and everywhere else you need permission. I think state forests and waters under a public bridge is all we can do. My biggest question is if i want to file a claim i need to know what mineral I'm going after and where, plus you have to provide a rough estimate of how much material you'll be recovering. How do you go about sampling the area especially if its state game lands or national forrest? Contact them and ask for permission to get samples? What resources can provide up to date maps that show state game lands, national forests, state forests and whatever "natural area" means on DCNR? The best part about all this is the dozen Pennsylvania youtubers telling you to go prospect and not one can provide info on rules and regulations lmfao. Literally setting ppl up for troubles...

I feel the same way about a creek I grew up near when I lived back east! I would of had that thing torn up! Maybe it’s good I didn’t 🤣🤣🤣 Appreciate you coming by! You’re a Legend!
@@StoneyCreekSparkchaser You're legend! I'm so glad you know what that feels like to think back and say; "All those years and nothin' done about nothin" ☺️ It's fun to be invited on outings, sure beats doing everything alone Everytime👍
Completely agree! We need more collaboration! Just like what you’re doing! Good stuff!
@@StoneyCreekSparkchaser Aww, thanks😃
That's one thing I loved about southern Oregon. The gold was much bigger than what we normally get. I hope to make it out to brush creek and some of the creek going into the Applegate river again within the next year or so
Yea it’s crazy the difference it is down there and it’s some chunky stuff. Too bad it’s so far away. I’m on the hunt for better ground here in our state though. I’ll find it :)
@@StoneyCreekSparkchaser did you make it to grants pass? Man the people in southern Oregon are so much more nicer than here. Love that there's no sales tax and just about everyone grows bud. Man I had a blast last time I was there.
I drive through grants pass to get to Medford to meet mitch. So no prospecting in the pass. As for the people, yea they were totally chill and good people. Really excited to head back down there this summer and see what else I can find
@@StoneyCreekSparkchaser wish I was able to tag along . Next time you go check out bush creek it's a republic mining claim.. whatever you do l. Don't go to Steve fork a few buddies dredged that whole area. Me and my buddy went and decided to dig there anyways we dug for a whole day then ran the material next day found 2 specks lol beautiful spot tho. Just no gold least at the republic claim on that river
Ok I’ll keep that in mind and I’ll let you know when I go down there next. Maybe you can coke with me :)
Those classifieds work great I was just thinking 1/8 might be too small down there!
Big gold down there don’t want to lose it!
Great video really cool to see the whole crew down there. I’ll make an appearance this summer.
Gold Hunter77 in the house!!! Huge congrats on your recent milestone my friend! Well deserved!
And yea I agree with you about the 1/8” being too small. It worked well up here, but there are areas where I wouldn’t use it because there could be higher stuff.
Anyhow, thanks again for coming by and good luck out there! I hope this year is full of riches! 💪😎👍
Looks like I need to invest in a dream mat for my sluice. Great vid !!!
Hey John! It does work really really good! It was a great weekend meeting all of these great people and finding more gold! Oh btw, I love one of those books you recommended for me to get. Learning a lot of good stuff! Hope you are doing well.
@@StoneyCreekSparkchaser I am glad the trip was a good one and that you made great connections. Also I am glad you liked the book (s) I recommended. Hope they do good for you. I am doing well and look forward to the summer and trips to the creeks to do some panning.
Just bought my first dream mat! Going next week to some creeks here in Southern California hopefully I find some pickers! Good work BTW
Hey thanks Grafflife! Which may did you end up getting? They all work so good! Let me know how it goes and thanks for stopping by. Loving the support my friend!
@@StoneyCreekSparkchaser I end up getting the Dream Mat 6" X 24" Trek Sluice Box with Mini/Micro Combo. I'm new to all this but already retaining as much info I can of gold prospecting. I appreciate the content, you earned yourself a new sub 💯
Thanks man! Super appreciate it. That’s the one I used in that video but only with the mini mat. I just got in the 8 inch Bigfoot with the mini as well and may go out this weekend and try it out. You’ll notice when you run it, the concentrates stay to a minimum which is incredible. Anyhow. There’s so much info on the Tubes! Enjoy brother and welcome!
Looks like you guys had a great time. I'm sitting here getting cold just watching. I know it's not that bad but I'm looking at that water and thinking about how it's -11° here. Nice picker!
Dang it’s cold there! Yikes! It’s a heat wave here compared to where you’re at! Thanks for checking it out! I had an amazing time and that littlest of pickers has me hooked even more!!!
@@StoneyCreekSparkchaser that's awesome. Yeah they say 20's tomorrow, I might wear shorts. Lol
Shorty short shorts time!!! Oh yea! 🤣🤣🤣
Just ordered me a dream mat combo 10x36 for sluice I’ll try it out when I get over this dang Covid virus 🕳️⛏️🇺🇸
Nice Pappy! I have a 6 inch and 8 inch. I
Love em. I also love the fact that you can buy multiple mats for your sluice, so essentially, with one sluice tray, you can have multiple sluices for different uses! Good luck and I hope your Covid sickness is on the outs. Get better Pappy :)
@@StoneyCreekSparkchaser oh I’ll get better soon my wife is a nurse she’s taking care of me thank you again
Awesome video. I look to do the same thing on a little spot of the Walla Walla River this spring and summer while I fish!
Thanks awesome John! I guarantee you’re going to love it. And you can run those bigger ones unclassified, shoot I even bet you can run the one as was using unclassified which will save tons of times. Good luck to you and I appreciate you checking out the video! I had such a great time down there! Let me know how your walls walls trip goes!
@@StoneyCreekSparkchaser I sure will let you know. I was given a 10x24 sluice that needs a new mat. This will be my first "real" prospect.
Awesome John! We’ll head on over to their site and get yourself a new mat. They are actually pretty affordable. The vortex dream may you can definitely run unclassified through. I was using the mini mat and I think you can run unclassified through that too. I didn’t and ran 1/8” classified material through it on this video, but this weekend I’m going to see how it does running unclassified stuff through it. I love you baby! Sure it’ll work. Anyhow thanks again John! Good luck out there!
How’d you get 1.7 thousand views on a video this long? You’re magic my man👍👊
Hahaha! It may have 1.7k views, but only a 10 second average view time! 🤣🤣🤣 jk. It’s all about that thumbnail and title brother, but then again, a lot of mine flop and get a couple dozen views and that’s it.
I wonder if this is around the rogue and the Illinois
Hey Stephanie. I think it’s by the Rogue, not sure about the Illinois. Appreciate you stopping by. Hope you enjoyed it 😎
You stole my spot! Let's maybe connect to potentially find some shiny sometime?
Jordan! That spot is hot and I had a blast being there. I find it very interesting how someone can watch a video and realize they know right where it is without being told the location. Pretty cool! I’m not from that area but plan on going back down there in the future. I think it would be awesome to meet you! I’ll keep you informed. Thanks again!
@@StoneyCreekSparkchaser where are you usually working? I'm currently in norcal chasin the motherload. need to get a hold of David to get some new mats tho
Hey man! I live up in Washington so I mostly hang up here but I definitely plan on exploring more of Oregon and California in the future. I’ve been really busy with Real Life recently and it’s been keeping me away from my hobby, but I plan on getting back in soon. Good luck out there and yea David is a funny and well respected guy. He makes a great product :) Tell him Stoney Sent ya ;) Thanks again.
Whats the silver mineral? Silver, platinum, rhodium, titanium, all the iums etc? Do you happen to know?
Hey Shenanigans. I actually think it turned out being mercury covered gold. Pretty common over here because of the gold rush!
@@StoneyCreekSparkchaser if you would of said platinum I would of asked if you need a roommate. I have a dream of making a platinum charm as a family heirloom. Finding enough material yourself before making would be another level lol. Maybe one day...
Literally setting ppl up for troubles...
come back this summer amigo . . . . we get on some screamin metal sniping . . . . 1-10 gram days. just get your self a mask n snorkle brother.
Dude that sounds awesome! Oh I’ll be back for sure… you can count on that!
What a blast fam. Great job all around. Keep on having fun getting that au and living the dream. Gold Squad Out!!!
Thanks GS! It was my first 2023 outing and I had an absolute blast! I’m really excited for us to hook up soon to see what we can find!
