@@SkovianGoesOutdoors I worked the hard packed gravel bars. Fairly fine gold, no pickers.. Pretty but small and beautiful. A vacuum would have helped. Not as plentiful as your bedrock gold and no pickers like you had in today’s gold. I enjoy your channel. Thanks man!

It depends where you are going with your channel. Do you want to enjoy your day out , or do you want to spend ages filming and processing so others enjoy your dat out , possibly at your expense.
I love your content. I’m only 9 and my da got be a detector for my birthday. My question is, can you detect at a river bank or will any “flower gold” make it hard? Thank you for inspiring me to be interested in finding gold and silver. Bubbles
A metal detector would defiantly work on the river bank :) while most detectors won't pick up the flour gold (the small glitter sized pieces) but they can pick up some of the larger flakes and chunky gold. It will also pick up Lead and Iron (good indicators you are in the right spot) I wish you the best of luck on your next adventure Bubbles, Heavy Pans

(Most people use shovels, but I like my crevicing tool ) A classifier isn't necessary, but it makes thing a little easier. Should be able to get everything you need for fairly cheep. You'll have to let me know how you do on your own trips :)

I live close to cow creek area and basically at the mouth of the south umpqua where it meets the north at the forks. My neighbor had a claim on cow creek for years. Its just too much per ounce not to get out and get that free gold!!!!

Do you really need a battery powered vacuum cleaner? So that you can vacuum up the bedrock.

That piece on it's own is a quarter gram - don't break your pan
Little over half a g :) the first time I dropped it it shook my pan haha I wasn't expecting it to hit so hard
