- LETS DREDGE UP SOME GOLD 🤩 Ladies and gents I welcome you to another west coast gold prospecting adventure. Today I’m with my buddy Mitch and he brought his 3” high banker dredge combo. And we decided to start dredging in a spot I left off on a few years ago.

Fell asleep last night before I could watch this. Great video brother. I think this one is going to do well. I feel you on the back. I feel so lucky to be physically well in my 40s, but even my back muscles are tight the morning after digging. I really wish I had a dredge. A brand new Keene with all the trimmings costs about the same as the transmission I just bought.
I feel ya…. Just dropped coin on a new bighorn 2500 … ouch - hurts more than my back !
I'd rather have a new bighorn than a $6,000 transmission on a 2017 nissan lol. That will have to wait until I have a couple thousand patrons haha@@FlourgoldWizards

Weld a screw on the end of the suction pipe! You don’t want all those rock. Going through your pump! You will destroy it maximum wire 1/4 inch wire! Weld it to the intake pipe! So it doesn’t come off!

You might want to try cow Creek or Wolf Creek last time I was up in those areas there was a lot of gold there's another Creek up by sixes River I can't remember the name of it though I remember it a lot of good gold there too good luck 🤞

It was me! Last time i was there with Mitch in August (I think) of 2022, totally forgot. Crazy it didn't get washed away. Glad you finally got a chance to dredge down in there, great video too

your new gopro looks really good. I ALWAYS run mine in a underwater case when I put the water. They say they don't need it but It will make the cam last a lot longer.

Great content loved the video but can I suggest not putting your pump and fuel can in the water keep the west coast waters clean every little bit helps keep up the good work

I better keep up last i new dredging was not aload in southern Oregon. and Oregon was not giving out the permitts for it.

Yes indeed, I was thinking about going back but it’s a pain in the butt packing stuff in and out.
Hmm some test panning maybe next time you had .2 from your first miners moss so you only gained. 2 from roughly 4 hours dredging. I'm sure it was a good time but could have been a better time
I hear ya. We have pulled ounces out of this spot in the last few years. I think we were losing gold due to a couple things. He had the water ripping through the sluice box and it didn’t seem like the riffles were exchanging properly.

Thank you, and this is a non ESH creek. Meaning we are allowed to dredge. There are still a bunch of places in Oregon that we can.

Thank you bud, it was a blast. So I’m not to sure on this one. It’s all packed down in pieces. So several trips up and down and not the lightest stuff either.
I think it was more the steepness of the trail, at some points a goat might have a hard time..

It takes a lot of stuff to work properly. And I don’t usually dredge, this is my buddies dredge. It works great though.
what do you think of the spinning gold panning machines?
I have never tried one to be honest. I would like to though.
How do you know where to dredge that’s legal in Oregon me and my dad bought equipment and we were looking at some locations but saw that it was illegal in almost all water ways.
Go check out “Republic Mining Prospectors Association” and join the club. They have lots of areas you can dredge.

I wonder if someone like me who is fairly fit, can pan out maybe 2 oz's per month if I did it full time...around southern Oregon?
Even with all our knowledge, equipment, and tricks……it’s really hard to get more than 2 ounces of gold in a year in our part of Oregon.

You might be able to do that if you stayed on the spot 5 days a week and panned 10-12 hours a day. Maybe. Appreciate you watching Fabian
