- Great day out prospecting part of southern Oregon. A new spot found its way to our path.....I worked it with the little time we had but found some big gold flake! I was able to run three buckets with a real good return on some sizable gold flake. I will return to this spot to dig a bit deeper. Great day for her and I plus Seamus (Shamus) had a blast...pretty sure the current took him down river a few times. Also Hiking is over rated, if I did not cover it enough....enjoy. Also I do the gold happy dance!
That's a great spot! And, those were some nice pieces in the pan at the end! Keep it up, Brother!

I need some flakes though cause I make jewelry keepsakes for grands and friends.
Powder is pretty but not so much for jewelry.
Maybe I’ll try some of the creeks in the area.
Thanks again for this video. Very helpful.
Looks like some rich moss all around too. The old shaggy kind. Probably loaded.

Haha! That’s funny...well hope you find a plan
That's too funny lol.
You need an 18# pinch point pry bar from harbor freight so you can easily move the cobbles out of your way!
Nice bit of gold. What kind of frame do you have on your back? I am trying to figure out the best way to carry my Keene A52s super sluice.
A lot of times that moss on them rocks scrape it off and paint it and there'll be gold in it
Where ya out of man?
Where was this at?
should have attacked the moss on the rocks it holds gold alot of times

Great videos, keep up the good work. Do you ever invite subscribers out with you? Larry- Grants Pass
I would love that! I try and incorporate as many people as I can! If your ever interested we will set up a time. The community is pretty large here and there is so much knowledge to share.
I will also be doing a gold giveaway once I hit 100 subscribers as well as a thank you to everyone who is supporting this Oregon boy:)
@@OGProspecting I'd like that too, I have equipment, sluice, pans, digging and picking equipment, and limited RUclips knowledge! I'd love to go with someone who knows what they're doing.
Lawrence Decker let’s do it! I have my email under the “about section” we can find a time and go dig together!
