Yup. I started panning myself. After working for years for 500$ a week toiling in labor jobs. Hostile management. Just to pay rent and live. Now I make at least $500 a week, enjoy life again. Though I live out of the back of my truck lol. I'm finally banking money instead of paying it all out to live. I'll have a brand new RV paid for this year. Happy hunting.
Hahahah, my first really good in this area had me making the goofiest noises lol, I looked up to see a raft full of people watching me 🤣 learned to stay quiet after that hahah
Some nice pans there, next things on the list of tools are some brushes and a scoop, just sweat involved, no blood, and you can get everything out of those loaded crevices.💰💵
Wow, amazing video! The lizard getting a ride was awesome. That hike you do looks nasty. And then the gold, WOW, enough said. I cant wait until you are able to get back out there.
That's how to get it done fam. What a blast getting out there. Still doing my homework before I come to Oregon. A lot of spots look like someone claimed them up 😂. Keep on having fun getting that au and living the dream. Gold Squad Out!!!
Awesome gold again! I’d be claiming that up! Thanks for sharing nice camera work and editing too. Are you using an iPhone like me? Quality looks good stabilization I use the 11 Max
I'm using a Samsung s21 fe. It has really nice picture quality, but I do encounter some audio hiccups. I ordered an Osmo action 3 so I could have even better stabilization and maby start sniping :)
Been watching a few of your vids, nice little ledge you got there brother! I wanna get out there soon, especially with the rivers warming up now, just gotta find the time. I love how you wear your shoes in the water, I do that too lol! Liked and subbed.
@@SkovianGoesOutdoors yeah, I hear ya on that. Not sure exactly where you're located, but I've been looking to partner up with someone to do some hard rock prospecting in a few areas...it's just better to be with others than solo, don't wanna end up as cat food! Let me know if your interested and maybe we could do something next month...I'm building mills until the end of August, then I'll be free.
You on the Rogue?? I grew up 2 miles from river forks where the north and south umpqua meet....you want good gold?? Hit the south by myrtle creek and cow creek
@SkovianGoesOutdoors nope. Open land out there. Also quite a few claims for sale. Saw 1 for 5000$ and another for 3900$...... both on middle creek which feeds cow creek. Or you could look for the red blanket lost mine right accross the river. The founder of Tombstone had found a rich ledge above days creek in 1890s.....after he was found dead he had rich quartz and his journal entry said " finally found it, much richer than tombstone ever could be".......look up the story
I haven't heard of much gold panning around that area. I would recommend going somewhere on the Rogue river, or the Applegate river, I know those have public recreational panning areas, as well as cow creek over by Canyonville. The coast is always an option aswell (gold beach, whisky run beach) really small gold on the beach though, but alot of it :) I hope you and your son get the gold fever :) it's a really amazing hobby
@@madreamer I've sold gold to the local Gold Excgange before when I needed quick cash (80% of spot) I was thinking I might make paydirt bags this year if I can find enough gold :)
Istead they have fund y do try wat u did... its cool ur having aventure n finding gold to make money...they r i....? Hehehe much i rather to join u than to having fun with nothing bring at home to make money
Probably average .25 grams. I go to Quartsville Creek and little north fork Santiam. Best I've ever done in 1 day was at Lawson Bar and I got 1 gram. But that was busting ass classifying 8 buckets down to ⅛ inch material and I worked from sunrise to sunset
hi love your channel but i was waiting until the end of this video for you to weigh it for us. can you please weigh your finds at the end of day please. its nice to know what you made. a gram a half or more.let us know. thank you
The Blood to Gold ratio is high these days 😁👍
I'd trade a pint for a nugget haha

You're killing it !! I'd probably look like a kid that got to walk into a candy store if I could get those pans.

A very well done video! I miss that country so much.

I really need to go back to all my spots with a brush or a vaccume haha, I leave quite a bit behind with my fingers
Find the old sxhool hand held vacuum or a small shop vac
I really didn’t think there’d be much gold in Oregon for the exception of around the dormant volcanos Nice finds.
I've honestly been shocked with the ammount of gold I've been finding at this spot. Most places I've been haven't been nearly as good
Should do your reaearch. Tons, literally tons of gold was found here and alot of places are still producing good gold
Nice gold neighbor ..... great video, thanks ...
Thank you too :) hopefully I make my way down to your area sometime :)
Thats some great pans , keep having fun.
Thank you, i will :)

That will definitely motivate some people. Awesome video!

There are a ton of claims in this state, I'm lucky to have found this place. . .I might justvhave to steak a claim on it myself
@@SkovianGoesOutdoors cool fam. We have been talking about it. Same thing out here in Washington. All claimed up. Time to get out of here 😞.
Just got to get deeper in the woods, somewhere most people aren't willing to go
I love southern Oregon so much gold to be found... good video sir!
Thank you :) it's such beautiful country, and way more gold than I was expecting

Really clean gold!

I've been debating on adding that into the videos, I might just have to
Good job your definitely on it.

@@spechnoch Thank you! It always puts me in an adventuring mood :)
Right on. What did you end up with the weight ?
I didn't have a scale available to me untill recently, my best guess is 1.5 - 1.75 g. I'll have a weigh up in the future :)

There's allot of poisen oak on that hike
There's tons of it out here, luckily I caught it so much when I was a kid I'm almost immune to it now
I’d like to see the final amount and find out how much it’s worth
I should have done a weigh up, that's my bad. I did start doing a final weigh in my more recent videos though
My son and I want to get into this hair do I find out what I can go gold panning like you we live in Lapine just south of bend

Nice pans. Come South on July 27 and join us at the 2024/North Yuba Nugget Hunt
I would love that! I'll have to start making my plans :)
That was a wood lizard the get to a foot long or better when full grown.
Thats crazy! I wouldn't have expected he would get that big
What river are you on?
I'm on the Rogue
What river is that on?
The Rougue
Who do you sell it to ?
@@madreamer I've sold gold to the local Gold Excgange before when I needed quick cash (80% of spot) I was thinking I might make paydirt bags this year if I can find enough gold :)
what river ??
When you get down that far, you need to vacuum out the bottom. That's where the best gold will be.
I've had my eye on some portable wet/dry vaccumes, I just need to pull the trigger and order it haha
weight?
I'm estimating 1 - 1.5g. I just got a scale to start adding a weigh up to the videos :)
@@SkovianGoesOutdoors I was gonna suggest lashing out and purchasing a scale - good one , looking forward to seeing the weighins in future
