This is confidently the most impressive RC video and aeroplane that I have EVER seen and quite possibly this will never be bested.

Absolutely agree with you. As soon as an institution or even a government is behind a project, it usually doesn't work. Money disappears into private pockets.
What an awesome and fantastic model, so many scale features, (loved the smoke and flares!) , so realistically and gracefully flown , while in flight no way to distinguish the model from the real thing! I've been in this hobby for 30 years and this is by far one of the best I've ever seen! Congratulations, I really enjoyed the video!

The ground level footage is most impressive - super detail. Looks bigger than 1/6!!
Outstanding display - real thriller and greased the landing too. Effects were excellent - lot of flares and was thinking there must have been a good supply of smoke oil! Nice job Horst, thanks. :)

I like airplanes and I love to fly
Who ever controlled the camera had steady hands and skills.....
So many times I've watched videos like this as if the person with the camera has Parkinson's disease and just spoils the experience.
Awesome scaled down model, one of, if not the best I've seen on here to!
Only serious money gets put into projects like this!

This is one of the most professional and well flown demos I've ever seen. The videographer knew his business as well as the entire sequence was nicely captured. There were times when you lost track of the fact that it was a model and not the real thing. That's the best complement I can give you. All most excellent!

I have to admit that this is one of my best videos I've ever made. Heiko flew a wonderful display so it was easy for me to follow the jet with the camera.

Thank you. Yes, you can see the main intakes are closed while the model is taxiing.

@@enjibkk6850 most Russian fighters can takeoff and land on not paved runways. In order to avoid dust and or dirt can damage the turbines, the main air intakes are closed and the one one the top of the wings are open.

This is definitely cool and all but what I want to see or possibly build one day once I get more experience (I literally just got into the hobby) and figure it out on my own is an actual missile that can fire from an rc plane. Obviously I'm not thinking like actual rocket or jet motors, but rather I am thinking a powerful capacitor running a small but powerful brushless motor driving a prop. That way the missile is fast but limited in range. I actually think that a basic tracking system is possible as well so that the missile can visually track a target. I say this because even our phones have the ability to track our faces so it shouldn't be beyond the realm of possibility. No explosives would be involved obviously but if done right I think one could knock a plane out of the air.

Your every day bottle rockets with an igniter similar to how you launch a model rocket. I would have just went with a model rocket
