You know it's giant scale when you have to fly it at an actual airport! Awesome footage!
I don't think they'll let you see if it'll fit in little tony or what it'ld do to your ballistic loaf.
sweet hey
keep up the good fight, TAO. i consider what youtube does to your channel to be testament against them, biblicaly speaking.
Need to take your ballistic jelly bear for a flight. And maybe see if it can be shot midflight. Haha.
Thank you for your great comment, my friend. You're right. A Rc plane of this size needs an adequate airfield to fly. The pilot told me that the gears are strong enough to fly even on airfields without a runway of concrete.
_Cheers_ 😎👍
It’s wonderful to see her in the air again.
My father designed the “Thrust Reversers” for the real one.
Congratulation go out to everyone that worked on this BEAUTIFUL flying model. ❤️❤️❤️
Nice one Scott 👍👍👍
Nice one
Indeed it is. My old Physics teacher at school was involved in the design of the nose before he semi-retired and became a teacher :)
Tommy Hammernots someone had to
My Dad flew the real jet and did Rolls with her.
I'm not exactly sure how I got here but I'm seriously impressed!
Thank you for the compliment. Much appreciated !!! 👍
Agreed! I've never really watched any RC related videos at all, but this was unbelievable! An older cousin of mine has a big passion for buying, building & racing those RC Drag Cars. I've always found it interesting, but never thought to try it or get into it. After watching this I'm considering buying an RC Car or Plane and give it a go. Looks like a lot of fun. 👍

Everything is so fine; only in Germany one model like this can be build, but the pilot is one of the best I've ever seen. Beautiful landing!
You can only build one in Germany?
Most complex parts by far are the engines and flight electronics. Were all those "Made in Germany"?
Long live the homeland!
You can build three in the US.

This design was an amazing feat of engineering. I wish they had kept flying it. Great job guys this is one of the best and biggest rc models that i’ve ever seen wow
Whoa- I just had the very same feeling, as when I flew my first RC, for the very first time! Oh, that was a mix of fear and joy....maybe 80% fear. 20% joy. This is AWESOME!
you're right. my thumbs are shaking every time. but one minute later when she is in sky everything is alright.
I miss the Concorde so much. Great to see it fly again even if it is only 10m long. Well done, great job!!
Pete Griggs One of my sadnesses is never getting to fly in that beautiful lady Concorde.
Where I lived in west london concorde was a regular visitor over my house, the noise was deafening but I loved every minute of it , I was gutted when it was taken out of the skies ,very sad .this is certainly the next best thing ,very well done.
Better landing than some of my holiday flights.
That Concorde is not fully finish and it looks amazing, great craftsmanship
Really awesome Airplane there! The most impressive part was that perfect landing! 10/10
I love the fact that those tiny jets sound like they are spinning at max rpm and than go even faster. And faster. And faster again! :)
Thank you for your great comment.
Bien bello.

Awesome looking, and sounding, model. There's a big grin on my face just watching this.
Incredible craftsmanship and attention to detail. Love the landing lights and gear! Great looking bird! :)
_Thank you for your kind comment. Much appreciated !!!_
We are, radio control modelers, incredible work of perfection, is part of our reality, and your project, the way you fly it, is your pride and satisfaction, as well as ours...we are proud, very proud to have you, in our family. Congratulation to you, from Quebec, Canada, MAAC Leader Modeler Paul Gervais.
That’s no RC model, it’s a reconnaissance drone.
I hope Air France is a paying sponsor.
Outstanding
Knowing them, yes.

I was prepared to be disappointed by the nose. I thought that it wasn’t articulated. But, it is.
I thought the SR71 model was cool. Need to see the SR71 and Concorde fly in formation.
When England and France work together, it produce the most beautiful plane in the world.
Yes, you're correct Laurent, and they were way ahead of their time, such a beautiful aircraft, the model does a lot of credit to the actual plane.
Russia did it before.

@@chrysler1601973 even if it was not a great success, the plane went to production and if you compare with the Concord, it was way cheaper. R&D was 100% russian, also the manufacturing. They don't have to blush about that plane. IMO.
Beautiful. Thank you for the viewing

2039 : model aircraft of a Concorde breaks sound barrier
that is very possible and even was in like 1985 lol
Lol. If they did that it would disappear out of range!
if aerospatiale wont do it i wont because i dont have that money
@@bd8026 there's an RC jet that does 400+ mph, it's nuts how the person can control it in the sky, I recommend you watch that video
Disappointed. Didn't break the sound barrier...
(Nice flight! Well done!)
The max. speed is around 190 mph [306 km/h].
This means that the calculated sound barrier is reached at a scale of 1/6. (190 mph x 6 = 1.140 mph / 306 km/h x 6 = 1.836 km/h)
WOW!! that was seriously cool.
Thanks for sharing - cheers from Italy.
1/6th scale? If you are going through the trouble, why not just build 1/1 scale and resume supersonic service from NYC to London. Just saying.
You know why they stopped its service right? Or not. You can search it in google :) peace
It sounds simple, but in aviation, scaling things down even a small amount makes a big difference, because weight is a function of volume, while lift is a function of area, so if you build a plane at 1/2 scale, it will have about half the lift of the original, but only 1/4 the weight, doubling the lift-to-weight ratio. It's late so I don't even want to do the math for 1/6, but it would be exponentially lighter.
Mathemagics

Amazing little endeavor
For that size, I'm amazed that the builder did not include doors over the landing gear or a drop nose that smaller versions by other builders did include.
As much as it costs to have flown in the real Concorde. They should have had this guy flying the plane. "Ladies and Gentleman. Before the meals are served. We are give you your moneys worth with a few loop to loops and barrel rolls."

Brilliant job a luv it

That is astounding you are a gifted person to build such a beautiful thing but at what point do you build one you can sit in and fly yourself
amazing!!!!! amazing!!!!! amazing!!!!! amazing!!!!! amazing!!!!! 😍😳
Amazing !! I love the concord !
At this point, buying yourself a pre owned helicopter is also not a bad idea
Beautiful, one would think. It is missing more that the nose is moving and graying the windows of the cockpit

This is so awesome!! Great job
Glad you like it! 🤙😎
I'm surprised the plane or engines didn't catch fire!!
I wanna see that break the sound barrier.

In the UK does anyone know if there is an annual mega RC display where these can be seen flying? They are unbelievable!
Fabuleux!!!
This must have been the Cargo Concorde. ;-)
Magnífico!!!
Where are passenger windows? Cockpit "windshields" just outlined. But better than anything I could build.
Surely someone could lie in this!!
A little bigger and people can actually sit on them😅
if only the front windows were painted, I wish it was the british version

White privilege. I'm sure if Mohammed Q Public applied to build and fly this, he'd be in jail before you could say salami lake him.
He didn't build it on the dining room table ,that's for sure.

Probably was a wise choice to not go super-sonic on the first flight.
Big grin! Too funny.
It can probably push into the transonic zone, those p300 pros are no joke it makes 67x4ftbls of thrust

Now retired, I was an Air France Concorde engineer in the eighties, this model is fantastic. I do imagine the difficulties to built it as we didn't have a lot of access to 'work on the real one ! All my congratulations to the team.

German-based engineering at its finest.
Very cool! I know I would make a mess of that if controls handed over to me! As for building one myself I can barely maintain a go kart!
Except for the absence of windows.
Well done guys, what a beautiful brilliant model performed really well, the landing was incredibly accurate for the maiden flight, I think the Concord is the most amazing airplane ever built, but I am biased as I was one of the team that constructed and coated the main pilot and nose windscreens my job was to put the metal heat film on the glass it was one thousandth of a human hair strand. So you have brought back some very happy memories. Great job and beautiful model for the many hours that you guys have put in to the construction of your vision.

At that point you just get your pilots license and take to the sky. You would have to get a hangar to store it since I doubt you’d be lugging it around. I get the humor though lol
