I love to make these simulation videos for you and I am happy that you all like them a lot! The graphics of ArmA 3 are very good, it almost looks like in real life. Rather simulations than real war!
I definitely don't want to give the impression that I glorify war, I am just a enthusiastic gamer.
The weapon systems are of course used differently in real life, but I am happy to educate you about these weapons systems, many do not even know that they exist.

Got to be a video game. You can't tell me a pilot is going to lollygag around while the ground forces launch dozens of missiles against him.
and all of them misses the target ? .... that is totaly unreal in real situations...

What you say is correct. But if the pilot dares to play around risking his l;ife and that of the fighter jet, it should be to detect the source area of the missile ground attack and to destyroy that ground attack zone. 10 cheap drones should be deployed in different areas, attract the countering detecting and attacking forces and then wipe of that area from further attacks clearing the area. Something has to be lost to gain some thing substantial.

I knew it had to a be a sim because aerial combat typically involves 'seeking' missiles... not the the kind you shoot indiscriminately like from an artillery gun.

Who ripped off the Ukrainians by selling them these AA rockets? They appear to be the worst AA weapons ever developed. Did the salesman not tell them that their range is no more than 1,000 yards, it appears? And after seeing this made abundantly clear after the first few rounds are fired, why do the Ukrainians persist in firing them at an aircraft that’s at least 2,000 yards away, then withhold fire when the jet approaches almost overhead? Clearly the Russian pilots aren’t too worried - they look like they’re performing at an air show.
This video isn’t even made with AI - even if it’s just a video game replay, it reflects not so much AI as AS: Artificial Stupidity.

when I first watched i didn't realize it was a simulation but was suspicous that it had to be the move environmentally clean Mig-29 I had ever seen as they always leave a black smoke trail and found it odd I was hearing birds and not the engines.
The zoom and gradient lines are the only giveaway that this is a game. Spectacular.
I mean, what was that plane doing? seeing how many times it could avoid being hit even though a hit would be inevitable.

I appreciate the creator letting everyone know this is a video he created for our entertainment! Well, it was good enough to capture my attention. That is saying something about the creator's ability! About 1/2 way through the Video, I started having my doubts. Really it was before the 1/2 mark, I kept giving the video a few good notes which kept me interested.

I thought SAM batteries seek targets but most of the ones that flew just fly in one direction and doesn't seek the target.
It's Looks like a Real combat,and missile guidenence are so pretty realistic

Seems like the player pilots abandon the MiG rather than rtb so they could respawn in a new one with ammo. I knew this was a simulation when the MiG wasn't shot down immediately.

Underestimating the air defense(they are so inaccurate). Flying direct over the SAM site without hitting it raise suspection it is a game though.

1 can anyone tell me what the pilots were doing? i seen a few straffs but seemed more defensive then offensive. certainly seemed risky in a heavily SAM'd area.
2 any idea what type of SAM's thise were? they didnt seem all that accurate.

Unless there are targets, just flying around in evasive maneuvers doesn't do much good for flight simulator training other than learning evasion.
First 10 seconds or so was real video, then it went to Arma the video game

I was about to say those pilot were idiots for staying in the area for so long and toying with the missles, then read it was a simulation, makes sense now.
The unnatural way the aircraft moves, its unlimited flares, the way the smoke trails just completely disappear all in uniform time, and the fact that the pilot literally achieves absolutely nothing in 10 whole minutes before getting shot down (without ejecting) says to me that this video is fake AF.

Apart from the pilot not leaving the area after the first SAM was launched I don't belive that the Russian air force is using Mig 29's in the Ukraine theater. Therefore it became evident to me early on in this video this was not real.

OMG, I watched all that and it is a video game! I kept thinking, if he is Russian, why not just hit the After Burner and get the hell out of there. Some of the rockets exploded and some didn't. Why not just use one heat seeking anti-aircraft missile even taking into consideration the MiG was tossing flares!

the no. of missiles shot at the craft aftr 80. N i thought boy, this is
unreal! 80 missiles at $10K ea would hv costed $800M, dat's more
than the MiG-29. N why would a pilot stick around so long after datttooo
many pockshots though 1/3 of dem were far out misses? Why didn't he
turn around n go home? Strafing w a gun didn't reduce the missile stations
either!!! The proximity fuse dat got too close finally got it done. But dat
wasn't spectacular (meaning the plane didn't turn into a fireball in the air).
