I totally appreciate your tutorials that depict different ways to do the same thing, so we can choose which technique is the best for our sewing level. I've been sewing one way or another since I was 6 (I'm now 60), but as I get older, some repetitive techniques take their toll on my joints, and it's great you always seem to have great alternatives.
I really appreciate your tutorials. You have so many quick and cute handmade gift options available. I'm hoping to get all needed gifts done by December 1st (we'll see how that goes 😂). Thank you for everything you do!
Very cute! I make something similar to this out of premade pot holders. I love the Christmas fabric idea. By the way do you have a video for that Christmas tree quilt hanging in the back? It’s beautiful.
I have been having so.many issues. I bought a walker foot to use thru layers. My bottom threads keep bunching. I checked tension, stitch length, Bobbin, threading machine etc. Still bunching thread. Ready to get rid of everything.
Did you try a new needle? A dull needle won't pierce through multiple layers very well. I usually have to hold on to my thread tails when I begin to sew to keep the bobbin thread from "nesting". Make sure you are using the same thread in top and bottom (same weight of thread). All the things you mentioned are the right things to check. Don't give up!
Take both threads out and rethread the machine. As suggested hold both bobbin and upper thread as you start to sew. A needle size of 14 should be sufficient. Good luck.dont give up.
Brilliant way to make a hanging towel.

Nice, adding this to my stash buster. Could I just sew the loop into the opening where I turn the circle right side out?

@@janemartin229 I tried new needles. Using a heavier one for layers. Will try again tomorrow. I am ready to quit.

I always start with my needle in my fabric and hold the thread tails. You also might want to increase your stitch length. Hope you get it figured out.
