    • @theyogainstituteofficial
      @theyogainstituteofficial  11 месяцев назад

      Namaste, You can consume millet at any time of the day, preferably in the morning, at noon and at night. It is best to consume millet in moderate amounts; three or four times a week is ideal. However, it is not recommended for people with hypothyroidism.

    • @theyogainstituteofficial
      @theyogainstituteofficial  6 месяцев назад +1

      Namaste. While the combination of sago with custard, chia seeds, cashews, dates, and banana might be nutritious, soaking sago overnight in water can potentially lead to a combination of incompatible foods (viruddha ahar), potentially causing digestive issues for some individuals.

    • @theyogainstituteofficial
      @theyogainstituteofficial  9 месяцев назад +1

      Perform a taste test with new foods or drinks to check for reactions and ensure compatibility with your body. Continuously monitor how your body responds for informed decision-making. Also, substitutes, such as quinoa, amaranth, and sorghum, offer similar nutritional profiles, with higher protein content than millet.

    • @theyogainstituteofficial

      Namaste, Bhai Dooj is known by various names across the country but its purpose remains the same: to celebrate the bond between brothers and sisters.

      @@sohinirakakundu6017 Bhai Dooj celebrates the special bond between a brother and a sister and mutual responsibilities for each other. So as you like you can rename bhai dooj to behen dooj. But the moral of the festival is same 😊.... So from my side happy late behen dooj to you.

      पौराणिक कथा के अनुासर सूर्यदेव की पत्नी का नाम छाया था। उनके पुत्र यमराज और पुत्री यमुना थी। यमराज अपनी बहन यमुना से बहुत लगाव रखते थे। यमुना बार-बार यमराज से अपने घर आने का निवेदन करती थी, लेकिन काम की अधिकता के चलते वह अपनी बहन से मिलने नहीं जा पाते थे। एक दिन यमुना ने यमराज के वचन लिया कि वह कार्तिक माह की शुक्ल द्वितीया तिथि पर उसके घर आएंगे। लेकिन यमराज को यमुना के घर जाने में थोड़ा संकोच होने लगा, क्योंकि वह लोगों के प्राणों को हरते हैं, ऐसे में कौन उन्हें अपने घर बुलाएगा।
      लेकिन बहन को वचन देने के कारण वह यमुना के घर चले जाते हैं। अपने भाई यम को देख यमुना बहुत प्रसन्न हो जाती हैं और आतिथ्य भाव से उनकी सेवा की। यमुना ने अपने भाई के लिए तरह-तरह के पकवान बनाए। अपनी बहन का सेवा भाव देख यमराज बहुत प्रसन्न हुए और यमुना से कोई वर मांगने के लिए कहा। इसपर यमुना ने उनसे वचन लिया कि हर साल इसी तिथि यानी कार्तिक माह की शुक्ल द्वितीया पर वह मेरे घर आकर भोजन किया करें। यमराज ने भी उन्हें तथास्तु कहते हुए उन्हें तरह-तरह की भेंट भी दी। माना जाता है कि इसी दिन से भाई दूज की प्रथा शुरू हुई।

    GL of Millets are around 75 and the GL of rice is about 55. Why are you advice millets?

    • @prasannavigneshr
      @prasannavigneshr 23 дня назад

      Glycemic Load (GL):
      Rice (white, medium-grain cooked): Typically has a higher glycemic load due to its starch content and rapid digestion. The GL of white rice can be around 15-23 per serving, depending on portion size and preparation method.
      Millet (cooked): Has a lower glycemic load compared to white rice. The GL of millet can range from 10-13 per serving, making it a better option for people looking to control blood sugar levels.
      You are not doctor ryt. You are doctor wrong.
