I just splurged on patio furniture so I need some cheap additions. I love them all. My favorites are the watering can and the lantern. I want to try the stacked herb planter too if I can find a cool enough place for them. Most of our summer is in the 100s. I put curtains up last year but it gets so windy they just didn't do so well. We don't have mosquitoes but they flies are awful. They will even buzz us while we are in the pool. Tfs!
You are amazing. I showed several of these audit Atoka my husband. He got up and left. I want to make the umbrella lights, the park bench and the hollow log. I wish I had a tenth of your talent. I’ve been out looking for a tree stump. My husband thinks I’m nuts.
I love the mosquito repellent, that’s something we always need fit cookouts. I love the other stuff too and can’t wait to try a lot more of these. Your home and porch are beautiful. Janice TNRN
I love the fringe on the umbrella, the outdoor curtains, the mason jar bug repellent candles and the three tiered herb garden 🪴. Thank you for sharing it was wonderful.
You are so creative! My favorites are :1. Watering can with twinkle lights. 2. Coffee table. 3. Curtains. Thank you for sharing your ideas & talents with us.
Really creative ideas, Love them all !! Since metal pipes and fittings can add up to be pretty expensive real quick, I decided that for the outdoor curtains I would try a cheaper version of using plastic pvc pipes and fittings. Then I painted them black to go with my decor. Looks Sooo beautiful, can't even tell they're plastic !!! Also in the middle of the pvc pipe I put a brace to give it more strength to hold the somewhat heavy curtains. I'm so excited to try your other projects. Thank you so much for sharing.
I remember seeing the patio curtains and the watering can lights. Also the stones, the bench and the umbrella. Great to get a reminder. I save these to my "DIY to try" list and then forget about them! Must actually try some of them now that we're still in lockdown and can't go anywhere anyway. Thanks for sharing.
Great ideas, Christina, especially when a lot of us are tidying up our outside areas for spring and summer and we are now allowed people to visit in our gardens! I have seen most of them first time around, but it’s great to be reminded of what’s possible. Kind regards from Penny in Liverpool 🇬🇧😊💕
ALL THESE PROJECT diy's are PHENOMONAL! Wow! I can't WAIT to make the curtains--although, I'll be using some SUNBRELLA fabric in some sort of lovely, fun, print that I must NOW go and FIND! lol
I couldn't possibly pick the one I like best but, the mosquito repellent one really caught my interest along with the watering can and the pallet bar. TFS Christine. So creative ❣️
I like the stones and watering jug diys because it’s something my kiddos can do and put their own little flair to. Thanks! Hugs to you and everyone here💕✨
Pro tip, _always_ make certain your bird houses have a hinged roof section, with a closure hook. If you can't open it up to clean it out every year, the birds stop using it. This is because it gets mouldy & too stinky to use. Happy spring time everyone!🤗🇨🇦
I remember a couple from the past but I love the simplicity of making the mosquito repellent. Simple, effective and no chemicals. I have a pretty good sized piece from an old tree that was at the house I grew up in and making the planter is the perfect idea for it. Thanks so much for sharing so many great ideas Christina and I hope you’re having a fabulous weekend. 🤗 #kindnessmatters
I’m so thrilled you gave instructions on how to do porch curtains as last year I kept looking for EASY D I Y 😀 instructions and the ones I watched were pretty complicated. Of course your way was simplistic and to the point, one of things I adore about you- and all the other things you showed, I will try the mosquito repellent also, probably all of them😁😆💛☀️✌🏼. Thank you again DIY Mommy💓
I love your DIYs!!! Just a tip. I know it takes more time but screw holes before you drill screws in. Drilling screws straight will cause the wood to split over a period of time or sometimes immediately after drilling in. Hope this helps.
Such great ideas Christina! I love the coffee table bench especially. It reminds me of the ones we all used to have back home when I was young many many years ago. I'd love to make one myself, thank you for the how to. And the curtains and rod, brilliant, I might have to try that too. 😊👍
Great projects! We have down/right sized to our cozy one story with far less outdoor space. So I'm thinking some of these pieces are ideal for us to make for our daughter and S-i-l's large deck! Hubby still loves to build and work on cars, even now in our late sixties😉. I love to decorate, so gonna be checking out the umbrella and fringe💖. Thanks so much for sharing your skills with all of us! Loved every minute! 🤗 -Susan
I just adore your channel. I get so many fantastic ideas and also being an Albertan, I can actually FIND the items that you use. Your sub count should be 1M. Thank you so much for your fantastic content and hey, your personality is also a winner so that definitely is an added plus!
I've seen the upcycled pallet bar before, the front porch drapes (loved seeing how it was done with pipe and fittings)… and the watering can with fairy lights. I had forgotten about them, but want to try these for my backyard. The watering can I want to make for a friend too, it's a great gift idea! I also saw the rustic bench video when you first uploaded that video. All of your ideas are great!
Paused @7:09 only in Alberta, does one set up an outdoor living space, when there's still snow on the ground.😂 Hey, it beats -20C° _without_ wind chill, anyday! 😂 Thanks for the ideas. Hugs from the Atlantic coast 🤗🇨🇦
Beautiful ideas. I remember the watering can and bench, so cool. I have drop cloth curtains for outside too, so awesome 👌 Thanks for the inspiration. Have a great weekend 💖 😀
