I stumbled across this video. I have a horrible slope on the front yard. I would have to hire out the work, but this is what we are going to do with that area. I’ve already started where we dug out the sod and planted phlox, lupin, mother of tyme, and hens and chickens. But the work!!! I’m going to have them do this. It’s sketchy to mow those areas. I mowed it for years but have to hire out due to disability. So I’m going to have someone do this to the area. Thank you!!

You did such a a super job! .I had a professional landscaper come to help me. I had mulch around the front of the house and he told me roaches LOVE mulch and other pests. So he said gravel or pea gravel were best and the bugs and armadillos looking for bugs don't like to dig in gravel. We put gravel down but the following year had cement put down along the front and tied that in to the driveway and sidewalk. This is definitely more budget friendly.😊

You just saved me so much money with your ideas. One in particular is the use of cardboard. My husband is on dialysis and so I have a practical and memorable way of disposing of all of his boxes. Thanks sis.😊

First, let me start by saying you have one of the most pleasant voices ever! Your presentation was so easy to follow and welcoming to beginning ‘landscapers’. I so appreciate this video, as my husband and I recently purchased a home, and I do not like the way the outside looks right now. I’ve been so busy, but I really wanted to get out there and beautify our front and back yards. Thank you so very much for giving me some amazing ideas! In fact, much like you, I work in such a way that projects take on a life of their own. I pray that you are well…God bless you!

We could be best friends!!! Lol.i started a smallish project for an area that I just didn’t want to have to mow anymore as it is surrounded by cement sidewalks. And my area kept growing and growing too. Why not?! That was over 2 years ago. I’m still doing stuff to it. It’s my sanctuary. My heavenly garden. We built a massive raised deck on it and there’s still so much garden area. And now the plantings are full grown and busting out. It’s my favorite place. I’m now adding some paths thru the gardens. Furniture. Swings. I stand in my kitchen window and just look at it. Flowers, wood, paths, mulch, pea gravel. Etc. I’ll never be done. You have given me some wonderful ideas to use around other sides of my house. The less to mow the better!!! And around the HVAC was genius! I’m stealing that idea! New subscriber. You’re a hard worker. To me it’s a pleasure but it is work. It’s my joy. Breaks my back. But I get to look at it! Lol
I’m going to be watching for new videos. Thank you. I loved this.

Great video!! I was looking for ways to freshen up my landscaping without having to do extensive digging. Love the idea of putting cardboard over the grass instead of having to remove the grass. Since I’m retired, I love that I can do this myself and not have to hire professionals. Thank You Caroline 😊

The first year of owning my home, I put in pathway lights along the walkway from our detached garage to the house. I punctured the water line that led to the garage. At least I know where that water line is now 😂
You definitely inspired me to expand upon my landscaping. I dream up all these flower beds and walk ways I want to build out and this gave me a lot of motivation to dive in and do it.
You and your property are beautiful!! Well done dear!
