Hope you find some inspiration in today’s video! I can’t believe that I forgot to mention that all of my patio furniture was purchased at Goodwill-the dining table and chairs, the fire pit, and the chairs around the fire pit! The umbrella, grill, some of the pots, and one pillow were the only things I purchased new!
By far, the best DIY for patio decor on the internet! You really think outside the box! I loved every idea and the fact that most things are thrifted. You really have a gift. You gave me a lot of inspiration. Thanks for sharing.
I totally agree. She’s got a bigger vision then most outdoorsy you tubers n I can’t wait til spring n summer yardsales start happening to create master pieces for my yard too
I really appreciate how much you pack into your RUclips videos. It’s clear that a lot of thought, time, and work goes into each one and everything is very beautifully presented and displayed. It is a treat to watch each one. Thank you!
The chandelier & fern pairing is to die for! What I love about thrifting and repurposing is that it makes your home truly unique and gives things that already lives in cozy feel not that stark store bought look.
I wish I could look at things at the thrift store and have a vision for it like you do! So creative 💝 I love the chandelier made into a planter and the pretty way of disguising a cooler! Thank you again for another beautiful and inspiring video!
You inspire me to look at things in a different and creative way...to come up for creative uses for free/inexpensive items. This was so enjoyable to watch!
@@CanterburyCottage omg thank you! I'll add those to my list....right after I do my morning Saturday new ritual of coffee...and Canterbury Cottage! I would've NEVER used green pain on a dresser until watching you! Not I can't wait!🤷🏾🙆🏽🤭😅😂🙏🏽🙏🏽🙌👏👏👏👏
Sherri i believe you are the very best dryer in the universe! I love your style your elegance with all your projects 💕 I could watch you everyday. Thank you !
So many wonderful ideas. The fringe on the umbrella is a great addition and chandelier turned planter & wind chimes are my favorites. A very beautiful patio.
Love the bumblebee pillow. Had to come back and edit my comment. I love, love, love, the whole video. You are truly an artist. All of your ideals just amazed me. Thank you so much. A lot of you tubers spend a lot of money doing there patios. A lot of us don’t have a lot of money to spend. Thank You Very Much.

Thank you so much! I do really enjoy working on projects. I never really know how things will turn out. Sometimes I’m disappointed but mostly I’m surprised and happy that they turn out pretty good! The best is when they turn out way better than I expected!
I just stumbled on this video and am absolutely blown away. Sherry’s ideas for transforming a space using thrifted and dollar-store items is among the most inventive - and attractive - I’ve seen in RUclips. Her video is brilliant in the way she shows and tells each step, yet she edits it in a way that doesn’t slow down the pace. Not only have I subscribed to her channel, I set it to notify me when she loads a new video, a first for me. That’s how much I want to make sure I see every single one. Thank you, Sherry. I so appreciate the time, skill and care you put into your how-to video.

I start to tell you how much I love something then have to wait till the end and re wind to remember cause you keep blowing my mind. What you did with the candleaubra and the fern, wow! And as I start to elaborate my mind digresses. You are an amazing artist and creator. I can't say how happy I am that I found you.
Sherry I absolutely love the chandelier turned plant stand! Your wind chimes, all your flowers - everything looks so high end. Thanks for sharing your creativity ❤️🙂
Sherry, your patio looks great. I am always amazed at how creative you are by repurposing old items and making them look brand new. I am so glad I found your channel!! Blessings XO
Oh Sherry what can I say but it is a Breath of fresh air. You have so many great ideas. You are a amazing decorator. I just Love, Love, Love everything about your patio. Thank you for letting us visit you for awhile and I enjoyed every minute of it. So until next time God Bless you and your family and have a Blessed evening and stay safe my dear and Special Friend.

I'm a little late to the party but I wanted to throughly enjoy your video when I was having my morning coffee. And enjoy I did. The chandelier transformation is awesome. I love my little fountains too. The trinkle of water is so relaxing. I hope you slow down enough to enjoy your beautiful patio. Blessings
Great ideas that we can make our own. I’m going to watch it again so I can jot down my ideas from yours. These are good ones to use with what we may have or thrifts that we find. Thanks for the ideas
I can't believe how classy everything looks! You have such great taste and really have great ideas for putting things together. I just love your style!
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the Chandelier to a plant stand!!!!!!!! I was just thinking where did you get that, than you showed it, would've never thought to use a chandelier as a plant stand/hanger. I just LOVE how your thinking is, to use such unique items to make gorgeous items. It makes such an impact! I'm always on the look out for beautiful and unique stands, I have to start looking up, lol. The patio makeover is gorgeous!!!! Can you make a video on plant stands/hangers using different and unique items please Sherry??? Such GREAT inspirations, keep up the brilliant work.
So many wonderful ideas! I loved how you used all of the elements of the chandelier. Those projects came out great! Loved the baby buggy planter too. You've made a very welcoming outdoor space.
Thank you!🥰 I am so glad you liked it! I was so excited to discover that the socket covers were metal (and not plastic, like you find on most light fixtures)-perfect for a wind chime!
We've just re-done our screen porch and I'm getting ready to decorate it and our patio for spring/summer, Your creativity in all these projects has inspired me to put more energy into creating warm and inviting outdoor spaces for our home. Thanks for sharing your talents!
Loved everything, Sherry. My favorite was the chandelier turned fern hanger. As for the doll head... I've seen them popping up on fb lately so they must be a thing?! Not exactly my idea of whimsical. lol (Although my inner imp now wants to hide a doll head with a light tucked in to shine through the eyes at night somewhere in my yard to see who notices.)
Oh, Patty! I think that is a hilarious idea! I looked at Goodwill yesterday, but they didn’t have even one doll! I’ll keep looking! It will have to be a battery operated light I would think because solar wouldn’t work unless you cut a hole in the top of the doll’s head.😜
This backyard makeover with thrifted and up cycle items is amazing!! Very talented. I have binged watched all your videos TWICE!! I love to watch what you turn a thrifted item into!!
I love the outdoor projects. I am a full time RVer splitting my time between AZ and MT. I recently moved down from Alaska and was unable to bring all my yard art down. I will be returning to Montana in a couple weeks and am looking forward to decorating my yard there. Thank you for your great ideas. You always make me rethink a “find”. 😎😎
The reuse of the chandelier is brilliant! My more engineering minded pal is making his own chimes with tuning and everything out of copper pipe. This is a great idea for the aesthetic directions he could take that.
Yes I would definitely hang that moss,Rod iron on my patio wall and the cooler/side table is just amazing, everything you create is an amazing transformation
I can probably do all this when I'm retired..right now I'm busy enough with work...but thank you for all these amazing ideas..i like the solar lamps on the potted plants..i think that would look nice at night time..💖💖
Your patio/backyard segment was OUTSTANDING. For me my only concern is using hot glue that the hot sun might melt and cause things to fall. My en tire outside is exposed to the sun most of the day,
Thank you, Christina! I am so glad that you found me and decided to watch. I am planning another patio makeover within the next few weeks-this one is from spring 2021. I hope you’ll checkout some of my other videos, too!
I love the idea of adding statue on top of the planter or next to the plants and Incorporating solar lights to plants. Both are really nice. Mixing metal's in your deco is also adorable ideas.
Thank you! I was really pleased with how it turned out; however, I should warn you that throughout the summer the green color faded from the sun.I wonder if there is something I could have sprayed on it to avoid that?
I agree with others that is is the best outdoor living space video by far! So far all the other videos and just clean the area, put down a rug, add furniture, pillows and a couple of plants and call it good. Your ideas and unique ideas are wonderful! It opened my eyes to treating flower pot planting like a vignette! Love putting a solar light in the pots. I have so many interesting items in my garden shed that I will be digging through today to bring my flower pits up a level. And spray paint is our friend! Thank you again for so many wonderful ideas!
Great video Sheree as usual. I enjoyed it very much. Another idea for some of your viewers. I had to take down a large bush in My garden. I stripped the flowers and leaves off. I put the branches all around the garden and the patio.and put fairy lights round all the branches ,some static and some flashing.
Our summer here in Alaska just flew by like a blink of the eye this year and after watching this video that I have the winter to plan and maybe get more done next summer--I hope but I do thank you for the fantastic ideas so I can make a plan to follow...
I just rewatched this to get some ideas for this spring and it accord to me that since you were a teacher? Your students must have really benefitted from your very creative mind along with your knowledge. I love the way you reuse what you take off projects later to do something entirely different.

Sherry, I don’t know where you get all your ideas but they are wonderful. I really like putting the solar lights in your flower pots and the table with the ice chest. Thank you for your inspiration.
I can’t decide which is my favourite - the chandelier planter is so beautiful, the cooler table is genius, the hummingbird thermometer is so creative! You come up with ideas that are so unique. I love the quality and care you put into your work, they are built to last. 💕🌼 Thanks for sharing!
You always blow me away with your beautiful creativity. And I always have a hard time choosing a favorite, but this time I really liked the way you turned the chandelier into a plant holder and spray painted and covered the wall ivy with grass. I’ve been contemplating spray painting a similar wall hanging and hanging it on my screened porch wall, so you sealed the deal. I will do that, and be on the hunt for a chandelier. I’ll bet you are the envy of your neighbors.
Thank you, Ann! I am so glad I gave you some ideas to try! It has been raining here, so we haven’t been able to enjoy the patio yet. Hope you find the perfect chandelier!
Absolutely! Hands down you are the best!! There is nothing you can not do!!! Your brain must go in overdriveLol! I absolutely never want to miss a minute of your video! Love you Sherri! Everything you do is genuinely genius!!!

I’m so glad you liked it!🥰
Thank you you have some interesting ideas and it's so nice to see someone doing their own thing rather than just buying everything off the shelf so to speak
.....gosh, your ideas for a patio perk-up are wonderfully unique in my opinion-I intend to try some for the fun of it---thanks so much!!!
I should’ve waited to comment until the end but I couldn’t resist.
All great ideas… not a bunch of the same ideas everyone else posts.
So gorgeous! All of them!
I love the chandelier made into a fern stand and the moss covered metal leaves!!! I am such a big fan!!!❤️
Your patio is so lovely please more videos on your patio or yard. Thank you for sharing with us my friend 👏🌿🪴🌿👏
Oh I Love, Love, Love ❤ your patio. You have a lot of good ideas. Thank you for sharing your talents with us. So until next time God Bless you and have a Blessed day and stay safe my dear friend. 💚🙂🦋
Wow!!! I love how you used that chandelier as a plant stand! Beautiful!
Sherry, I don’t know where you get all your ideas but they are wonderful. I really like putting the solar lights in your flower pots and the table with the ice chest. Thank you for your inspiration.
Thank you so much, Nancy! I am so glad that I can give you some new ideas to try! 😊
I can’t decide which is my favourite - the chandelier planter is so beautiful, the cooler table is genius, the hummingbird thermometer is so creative! You come up with ideas that are so unique. I love the quality and care you put into your work, they are built to last. 💕🌼 Thanks for sharing!
Thanks so much, Lois! 😊 I am really enjoying my patio this summer.
Good ideas!
The umbrella was a saver and the cooler was unique, not having to move it all around.
Love your outdoor space! The doll head isn’t too much whimsy. God bless! 🙏❤️🤍💙🎚
My whimsy is an old wringer washer planted with flowers - I love the idea of adding lights to planters- will be doing that tomorrow
Absolutely! Hands down you are the best!! There is nothing you can not do!!! Your brain must go in overdriveLol! I absolutely never want to miss a minute of your video! Love you Sherri! Everything you do is genuinely genius!!!
You are so so so sweet, Jackie! Thank you for all your kind words! 🥰Have you seen the video with the canning funnels that I called “bottomless cups”? I think we both know that I can’t can fruits and vegetables!😜
Absolutely gorgeous patio, now I'm regretting getting rid of our beautiful but worn large patio set for dirt cheap 🙃🤭😒 However, thankfully got some great.pieces that I've collected over the summers. Thank you so much for the inspiration. I can't wait to start on our yard & small porch for this year's summer. You're truly a gifted lady, thank you so much for sharing with us.
🐌 🌻🐞🦋 God bless 😊😊🤗
Lady, I like the way you look at things and remake them into something useful. I have done similar things myself and just love the finished product simply because it's so much fun and looks good in the end. Thank you so much for sharing your ideas and talent. I only have a small balcony but I have a huge living room that needs furniture and more that I can use your decorating know how. I love it!
I would absolutely hang that leaf wall art on my wall! Love it
You are one of the craftiest, most talented RUclipsrs. How you reuse and repurpose items is really unique 👍🏻🥰
Your patio looks breathtakingly beautiful.
Sherry, what a joy to be able to watch your creativity on display. My husband paid you a complement and said you were like MacGyver. God bless you - from Sylvia.
Borax with the Dawn….why did I not think of that! LOVE the chandelier fern planter!
