I have a Woodpecker family that I'm in love with currently. But I get all the basic backyard variety and had many hours of joy watching the bird pairs come, eventually with their babies, and now alot have migrated on. Some of the babies are still hanging around since their parents raised them here. I just love them all am my heart hurts with all the habitat destruction that is occurring. That's one reason our backyard havens for feeding and watering are so important!!! Thank you so much for these wonderful 💡
I live in a somewhat wooded area and I can sit and listen to and watch birds in general.
I love red birds, blue birds, and the little bitty brown birds that flit around my deck!
Am loving your ideas! Clever use for margarita glasses! I picked up an inexpensive soldering iron for $6 from Harbor Freight, works great to melt holes in plastic quickly. And you are sooooooo right about rinsing off bagged rocks! Super clever use of splatter screen, wreath & pot feeder!
The older my sweet hubby and I get, the more we enjoy watching birds! One Saturday evening, we enjoyed watching chickadee parents tag-team deliveries of yummy worms, bugs, and seeds to their noisy, hungry little chicks. I asked my husband if he would rather go out dancing or do anything else. We both laughed and remained just where we sat. Keep your bird ideas coming! And thanks for sharing. 😊🐦⬛🦉🕊️🐦

Also, I wanted to comment on your beautiful white kitty.. Growing up you never saw white cats. In 2001 when we moved near farms I had fed a pure white one named snowball who was part feral. Next thing we had white 😺 show up to eat since they came by from the farms. I adopted and had all white kitties. All the sudden i have seen white cats start showing up on websites that I had never saw before. They are beautiful and they stay so white . Love them ❤❤
I know this video is 9 mos old but I just found it. I'm from Texas and my disabled niece and I love birds. My niece Norma loves taking lots of pictures of our birds as we sat outside every morning watching them. I make bird nest using balloons and clay.. I love feeding birds so I really love this. Going to Dollar Tree to see what I can find to make feeders and bird baths. We have four feeders (store bought) and one bird bath but I want to make some. Loved the bird feeders. I have a tree we bought from Wild Birds co. and hang our feeders from there including some suet. I have a bonnet that needs holes the rain fills it up.

Hello. This is my first time watching. I really enjoyed this video. I was just watching the birds this morning as they were looking for water. We've not had rain for a month, so water is scarce. A bird bath is a little dangerous around here since I have a cat who is a great stalker. So a bath hanging from a tree is a good idea. I'm going to subscribe, so keep these wonderful ideas coming! I use pinesol around my planters and bird feed containers. Hot peppers mixed in the food. Keeps racoons and squirrels out
I'm a 1st time watcher. For me the small bird feeder would empty out quickly since I have as many as 20 cardinals at one time. I also have lots of black birds. The large one would work much better. Thanks for the ideas 😊

I Love ur ideas and I have most of the items u used. Now thanks to u I can start makings them. I have used and old tire and an old bathroom sink. I put a small fountain going up the faucet and they love it. Another tire but this time I found an old snow saucer and put rock in it so they have a place to sit. I must say when the blue jays get together I need to add more water lol I don’t mind they r having so much fun. Thank u for sharing ur inspirations with us all. 🐝🕊🌻🐿🛁

So stinking cute!! Living in the Sierras, we have about 7 feet of very packed snow. I literally have to lean oust my bedroom windows and toss our bird seed out the window. Hoping I don’t fall out. I’m going to make the screened one and just hang it out the

I love all things birds... houses, baths, & feeders! These are great!!!
Great that you are helping our bird friends. Not only do you need to super wash some of the stones from the Dollar Tree, Dollarama or craft stores, some of them (like the black accent stones) are covered with some kind of waxy material. The safest way to deal with them is to boil them in water, rinse and boil again making sure they are totally clean. The rocks will lose their gloss but when wet you won't be able to tell. Also, keeping shallow dishes filled with rocks etc. will help[ prevent bees from drowning as they will be able to land on the rocks and avoid drowning.
Everything you do, is so nice, awesome and looks doable to me.

I just found your channel... Love the bird baths. I have 2 male cats that decided they were going to make our home their home. That was 7 months ago. I use to feed birds and squirrels, but can't now. I fell in love with the cats. This is March, they are still here. LoL ❤❤

Loved your video! Yes more videos like these. Just loved your husbands idea with the screen lid, definitely going to make one. I lost so much bird food when the container filled with water several times. I bought a stand bird feeder at Walmart that has several pirches/ stands where the bird birds can land while feeding, but they made a big mess. Bird seed all over the place! I love watching them feed ❤️🥰

Also would love to see you make recipes for suet & a suet feeder. Bird Feeders are so expensive it is nice to have some beautiful & cost effective alternatives. I love watching the birds. I have a nice concrete birdbath, which I just filled with dirt - and planted flowers in it this year! Ha!.... Birdfeeders: our squirrels usually win out, over the birds, making a huge mess with all the seed, so I have given up! We have a lot of hummingbirds, which go for our flowers... so pretty!

Love your creative ideas. I just subscribed. In our horrid humidity I used Gorilla fast drying glue on plastic. It worked until the wind tore them to shreds. Lol
