A few more helpful tips.. Use the clear crayon boxes or the travel soap boxes for the card games. Use crushed aspirin or a couple of pennies to your fresh flowers and they'll last longer. Binder clips are great for keeping your ponytail holders together. Also, use baby powder to remove sand from your skin.
First, you look absolutely amazing in that color! Next, my favorite hack was the fresh flower food followed by the bandana bows. My own hack to volunteer - my mother wore dentures all her life. Rather than pick up toothbrushes to clean with, I always get inexpensive denture brushes. The angle on the brush end is better than a toothbrush and they come with two different length of brushes to scrub with. My adult children all have denture brushes in their cleaning supplies. 😆
Store your cleaning sponges and scrubbies in the dishwasher. They get cleaned every time you run the dishwasher and they'll dry out too. I do this so I don't have cleaning stuff laying around on my sink because I have a tiny kitchen. I also keep a scrubbing wand in the dishwasher too (the ikea type).
Great hacks Whitney! I love it when you do these. Another trick is take your heat gun or hair dryer to the head of tooth brush and bend it just a little and it will work even better in window tracks! ❤😊👍💯
Thanks again for another awesome hacks video!! We used to do the sponge “water balloons” when my boys were little, but they would always break eventually because we cut the sponges into strips, so that was a great top to not cut all the way through! I think my favorite hacks this time were the gift ideas. The scarves, the bandannas, the drawing on the white bags, I’ll probably use them all! We’re putting together some teacher gifts this weekend, so perfect timing! I’m going to watch your gift hacks video again now to get some more inspiration before we start❤
Loved this video ! My favorite was that teacher bag , awesome idea ! I have full custody of my 10 year old grandson! And lately I’m feeling blah but this video gave me so much inspiration! Ty for that I needed this 🩷
I have multiple rolls of tapes in my craft space. I am thinking the towel rack on my cart will be great for corralling them! I hadn’t considered that! Thank you. The smaller core ones can slip onto a garden hook so they are all accessible, and I might even hang a dedicated pair of scissors for the tape on the hook too!
Great ideas. I use the Essentials towel holder inside my kitchen cabinet. I use a Dollar Tree skinny plastic basket (rectangular) and I ran the bar through it. Then I use the basket for small items that I don't want on my sink like small scrub brushes or the sink plug. Little things make your kitchen look so good!
For the reward toy bag, I used to do the same for plane trips but I also wrapped the toys and some granola bars and other snacks like gifts = nothing like the joy of unwrapping ❤
You can also wrap a small gift directly in the bandana or scarf, depending on the size. That would totally eliminate the need for even brown paper or any paper!
As a kid, my parents would take me and my two little brothers to Florida for a week vacay every year. It was an 8 hour drive. Mom would pack cheap little toys and give us something to play with every hour or two. It kept us really entertained! If I’m ever blessed with children I’ll do the same thing! ❤
My mom did the same thing, & also, about a week before the trip we got to go shopping and each buy one toy ( I ALWAYS bought a toy horse, like the Breyer ones today). BUT---we didn't get to play with it until we were well on our way on the road---boy were we eager to cooperate with packing & getting ready & getting into the car, b/c that special toy was waiting for us. Finally, my dad had a good reply to the "are we there yet?" refrain; he would say, "As soon as it gets dark." Of course, we always found a motel well before dark!
WARNING: When I used straight vinegar steam in my microwave, it destroyed the paint in my microwave. The paint started bubbling up and flaking off the microwave surfaces. So, be sure to dilute the vinegar with water. Actually, start with all water to see if regular steam will work first.
Crumpled up wads of wax paper do wonders on stainless steel. I use it on my faucets in the bathroom and on the fridge. It also works well for hard water stains on the shower door. DT also sells a sponge specifically for stainless steel that works great too.
Love the scarves for gift bows and how you made that regular white gift bag look like notebook paper! Love the 1/2 ice pops bending them over a cup! And the sunscreen or lotion in a silicone salad dressing bottle for easy day trip travel! Great stuff 💗
I love the way you get to the point without too much chatter! I am new to Cricket . Do you have any instructional videos on how to use a cricket for people.who are older and a little bit challenged. Lol? I am finding it a little overwhelming and I don't know where to start. I watched videos by other channels and couldn't get past all the annoying excess chatter.
Mint mobile has plans $5 and up, they have a special all plans $15 a month, you pay for 3 months at a time. While their special is on I'm signing up for 2 lines unlimited, at $15 per month each only draw back is I have to wait for them to mail the SIM card. Then I'll have my son set it up for me. You can keep your old phone number, my understanding is their Internet is through AT&T. So I should get good service.
Whitney my favorite hack was the sunscreen with the brush. It's always a mess with sunscreen. Finn is getting really tall now and he is so cute in your videos! I love all the Warby Parker frames you tried on TFS
Whitney. Another way to clean dust and dog hair off anything is to use a latex glove. It’s a great hack and gets it all off. Especially for nurses who have clean ones in their pockets. 😊
I also use the cheap plastic tablecloth to cover the outdoor furniture before the storms... I keep the cloth in place with the clothes pins like you did, or with the metal binder clips, works magic
Whitney, Great hacks as always. When our hair elastics get stretched and no longer hold our ponytails, I use them as Cable Tiles for various Cords like Cricut Maker 3 Cord, etc. I use old toothbrushes for cleaning gunk out of my Washing Machine and Tumble Dryer, also reuse plastic packaging such as Donuts or cookies come in, to store extra USB charging cords in drawers, I have one for iPhones and one for Androids so easy to find and keep our junk drawers tidy. TFS
Whitney, you're so awesome! These will be so much fun for the daycare kids who get so bored in the summertime. Fingers crossed for excited reactions to these hacks.
Such a great idea to hand decorate a simple white bag to add that personal touch! Would a thin layer of sunscreen applied with a brush work as well as a thicker one?
I love the silicone fruit wedges to identify who's drinks are whose. Love the dollar tree's dressing containers for toiletries and absolutely love the flower food and mold fighter mixture idea! And there was way more hacks I hope I remember to use later on.
Love these ideas! I go one step farther with lint rolling my lamp shades... I use the DT Mr Clean Eraser on them...omg, it catches all the dust that the lint roller missed!
I so enjoy watching your videos! You are a very special person! You are so creative and talented! Thank you so much for sharing some of your world with all of us! 🫶👍💖
I'm definitely trying the bake rack on the pot roller bottom for painting! It'll keep me from constantly stopping in between projects til they dry! Ingenious! Tyfs!,
Just FYI, you know the wire devices you use so cleverly to hold objects being painted? They are beloved by bakers everywhere, but they are called cooling racks, not baking racks. They let you remove your baked items, like cakes and cookies, from the baking pan after about 5 min. and cool them evenly at room temp. If left in the hot pan too long, the baked items might overcook, absorb moisture from condensation, or become difficult to remove. Hooray for cooling racks.
The tablecloth clips work fantastic. Had b-day get together couple years ago. Storm came up unexpectedly with high winds and the tableclothes stayed put no problem.
I loved everything you shared, but my top faves were, the scarf and bandannas as bows or gift basket filler as well as the blank gift bags. I was trying to think of a great gift idea for two daughters’ teachers for the end of the year. Thank you 😊 for sharing ❤
A small flat paint brush also works well on cleaning windows. The bristles fit in all those hard-to-reach crevices. I just pour a big pitcher of hot water to get all the junk out and the water drains out the small holes in the sill.
Thank you for such clever ideas! I’m going to try the sunscreen applicator and case idea, but the one I’ll most likely use is the plant turntable and inexpensive racks. That’s definitely going to improve my painting time! 🌞😘
I love the idea to use the condiment bottles for travel toiletries. I also like the cosmetic case to hide money in your car. In my car, I have a large plastic M&M tube to hide money. It holds $20 of quarters perfectly. ❤
Love the sponge water balloon idea . I hate all those little bits that end up all over the yard. Perfect solution. Thank you God bless you girl 🙏 keep shining
With freezes I always use cut it rounded so it would not cut there lips . Thought I share this ! My daughter one time cut her mouth on pop can on the rim ! She was left with a happy face cut ! Doller tree has the cover for soda drinks
Thank you for sharing. I just love the little, "Duh, why didn't I think of that?" hacks like the toothbrush on the slider rail or folding the freeze pops! I also just loved watching your son playing and being creative. Great video!
I love these hacks, they are all awesome. Thanks so much for sharing. My favs, the race car track, the sponges , and the design your own gift bag! Just Great!
I found a small wire basket that I turned upside down and placed over my flower seedling in the garden to keep the birds and slugs from eating it. They ate the one next to eat, but when I used the basket as a cover, the second seedling was never touched. It also protected it from hail we had recently. Just get one with the small openings.
Hi there, I’m so pleased I found you today, I too use things for other jobs, like the tooth brushes for cleaning window ledge, the kitchen used to be a difficult place to clean so I use cotton tips to get into really thin areas like around the sink area. I live in the UK so I love to find hacks from Dollar Tree as there seems to be better options than what we have in our pound shops. I love how in the USA you have much cooler names for things and shops, like you have Hobby Lobby, we have Hobby Craft. Do you have a shop like The Range over there? My nine year old grandson came out with elevator one day, I sat and thought about how more sensible it sounded to what we call the lift. It does what it says, elevates, when you think of lift you might think of something you lift up. We have adopted some of your words in our family like faucet, we call it tap. I have subscribed and hit the like button. Have a blessed week

Use your hairdryer to clean dust off small fans.
Thank you for showing us dirty stuff. Nothing is more frustrating than watching someone clean something that is clean.
Yes! It's like all those dumb razor commercials that show the razor gliding over already shaved skin.

I love those magnetic hooks to hold potholder to the side of you stove or range hood.
Great idea!
They're actually quite strong, too. I store small frying pans and cooking utensils on the side of my stove
When I was teaching preschool I used those cheap plastic tablecloths for bulletin board backgrounds. I still have some somewhere.
For the reward toy bag, I used to do the same for plane trips but I also wrapped the toys and some granola bars and other snacks like gifts = nothing like the joy of unwrapping ❤
