Hi Trish and Kay all of your bird house's turned out amazing and very very pretty love them all 👍 TFS have a Blessed Easter and a fantastic weekend ! 🐝 Safe and God Bless you and your family.
This was a great episode! We feed our birds and other critters here too in Pennsylvania. We have deer, wild turkeys, fox, ground hogs, occasional ducks, crows, squirrels and probably other critters. 😉
Thank you Rodalie ☺️ we appreciate you stopping by and watching 😊❤️ We get quite a few critters out here too. I love watching them all. The squirrels can be a pest with the bird food but they are so cute and funny to watch I can't even get mad LOL Have a great weekend
Thank you Deborah 😊❤️ We love birds at our house and love making homes and feeders for them. Thanks so much for stopping by and watching 😊❤️ Have a great weekend
Thank you Susan ☺️ we appreciate you stopping by and watching 😊❤️ We love birds here too. My husband is obsessed with his hummingbirds. Have a great weekend
Oh wow that's bird house planter is super cool and I really would luv to create one as well ,thanks so much for sharing I'm enjoying all your DIY inspiration ❤
I really enjoyed this video. I love all the projects. The birdhouse planter is just gorgeous. I took notes so I can make some of these for my furry little friends. Thanks 4 all the inspiration and the many DIY'S. You ladies are always full of great ideas. Thank you both 4 sharing.
Thanks so much Noemi. I'm sorry it took so long to respond. Between us being on vacation and then my mom passing time just got away. We truly appreciate you stopping by and watching 😊💕
First time at your channel. Love all your ideas. Looks like you two have alot of fun creating. Have any of your birdhouses been occupied yet? The glass birdbath looks so classy. Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful ideas. Have a blessed day.😊
I have 2 that are occupied so far this year. This video was from last year and the squirrels destroyed the basket and the feeder I made with the plastic bowl and trays. Thanks so much for stopping by and watching 😊❤️
@@CraftingCousins I don't know if the squirrels would destroy mine, I feed them covertly with shelled nuts and other unshelled nuts. We'll see. I do like the basket idea. I would like to see at least one birdhouse occupied rent free. I even throw in the seed and water to entice them. God bless. 😊
These are great. I heard geese squawking their way along yesterday. As warm/cold/ warm/cold… cold… cold… COLD as it’s been I was wondering if it really is spring. Hearing the geese says, yes, yes spring is here. It’s late and rather than risk falling asleep I’m going to say that the bird houses are cute and original.
It is cold here today too. It was 90 degrees yesterday and 50 today. My husband just built me a fire. Thanks for stopping by Mary. Have a great weekend
@@CraftingCousins I threw Patrick out, but he conveniently managed to forget little things that bring him back. He's not allowed to come alone so a mutual friend has to be here. It's a degree of control that makes me laugh. Once he gets over himself I will have nice weekends again.
These were great!!! I'm going to try them all!! I just love the birds, squirrels, etc. We feed them all the time!!! But, I noticed that I don't have any bird houses, just feeders!!! Lol. Thank you for sharing!!!
Thanks so much Lela. I'm sorry it took so long to respond. Between us being on vacation and then my mom passing time just got away. We truly appreciate you stopping by and watching 😊💕

Pretty & practical ideas. Thank you for sharing. (I’ve noticed that tea pot lids {when not needed for the pot} generally fit sugar bowls that are missing their lids.)
Thank you Lydia 😊 and thanks so much for stopping by 😊❤️ I never even thought about trying that, thank you for that tip. Have a great week sweet friend
Love birds, one of favorites you showcased in this video. My all time video was during Covid when you took a driftwood log and put birds in it. It is shown in your preview. All ways loved that one. Of course it has birds in it. Many of these ideas I would like to try, we will see if I can. Your Columbus Ohio friend Evelynne
I don't know which is my favorite, they are all so beautiful! I can't wait to try a couple of them. I live in a rented town house with absolutely no yard, so these will be going on my front, side, and back porch. The front and side are very small, but the back is 24' x 24'. The front has a roof over, so I can hang a bird feeder and maybe the planted house. My kitten loves to sit in the front window and watch her kingdom lol, I think she would love watching and hearing the birds. Thank you so much for sharing, I've been thinking of ways to do this for about a month but was undecided and wasn't sure what would work best. Thanks again
Thanks so much Elaine. I'm sorry it took so long to respond. Between us being on vacation and then my mom passing time just got away. We truly appreciate you stopping by and watching 😊💕
I have watched the flower pot bird house one several times. I have that exact bird house and am working on doing pretty much the same thing with mine, just different colors and such. I love your diy's. Thank you so much for the ideas.
Yeah I really debated about adding it to this video since it has been in a few others. We ultimately decided to add it since we were putting all of our bird projects together. Thank you so much for stopping by and watching 😊❤️ Have a great weekend
My husband actually thought of that and I tried but there wasn't enough surface to attach it. It is pretty heavy and the little bit it touched wouldn't hold it. Thanks so much for watching Connie 😊 we truly appreciate it. Have a great weekend
Thank you Patti 😊 I honestly did not think about that, I should have lined the top. I do have a bird in it right now so I wonder if the weave is tight enough on the top that it isn't letting a lot in. Thanks so much for stopping by 😊❤️
Thanks so much Nita. I'm sorry it took so long to respond. Between us being on vacation and then my mom passing time just got away. We truly appreciate you stopping by and watching 😊💕
*Hi Crafting Cousins❣️ Please don't take this comment as me being critical or unkind;; I'm just trying to be informative. 😉😊 If for some reason you don't get any birds in your 1st darling little basket birdhouse, it's probably because the entrance hole is too large. Birds like their entrance holes SMALL - just barely enough room for the parents to squeeze inside. Why? It's because it makes it much harder for predators to get inside the birdhouse - which is especially important after the baby birds have hatched and the parents are out hunting insects for their babies and the chicks are left alone and momentarily unattended inside the nest. 🤔 Because of the size of your basket, probably bluebirds, robins or other birds with longer tails won't fit - so probably only smaller birds like sparrows or finches will fit - but the hole may be too large for the parents to feel comfortable. If you are wondering how large a birdhouse hole should be, you can actually look that up online. They have birdhouse plans that will tell you what size the hole should be, depending upon what specific variety of bird 🐦 you are hoping to attract. 😁😃😉 Hope this information is helpful to you, ladies❣️🙏💜*
Thank you so much Leslie 😊 that makes so much sense, dang I ruined my little basket. I will definitely keep that in mind for the future. Thanks so much for stopping by and watching 😊❤️ Have a great weekend
@@CraftingCousins not ruined but I challenge you to find a creative way to make the hole smaller. E.g. take the top back off and glue on a thin piece of DT wood with a smaller hole. Now you have a video for a future show.
@@CraftingCousins *Thank you for your reply; I am so glad you are not offended. No; I don't think your basket birdhouse is ruined❣️😉 I agree with Mary Ellen that you can make the hole smaller. 😃 Great suggestion, Mary Ellen‼️👌 Not sure if you have any moulds shaped like keyholes or the ones that look like mini picture frames from IOD...but if you do, you could make one out of resin and glue the frame over the top of the larger hole with Gorilla Glue. Whatever you decide, I really enjoyed your imaginative creation❣️😊💜*
Trish does well with her stuff, but in Texas these squirrels are vicious! They are as big as cats, LOL. Seriously, they chewed up my expensive outdoor cushions. Thanks for watching 💕
Thank you Kathleen ☺️ someone else mentioned that too. I was thinking I wanted to make it easier for them to get in but understand now they don't need or want it bigger. Thanks so much for watching 😊❤️ Have a great weekend

The teapot birdhouse you could of glued the lid between the handle and teapot rim as a roof over its opening.

make sure you don't use a light peanut butter. The light peanut butter contains xylitol, which is deadly for the birds. Love the houses and feeders❤

Cool projects, I love crafting
You could use pine cones smother it in peanut butter - use twine attached to top of cone to hang it from. Roll the cone in some bird seed. Enjoy

@buccaneer354. Thank you for posting the xylitol in the peanut butter. I forgot all about that as I am not giving to the dogs now.

Wrens would love that type of nesting house, Wrens like the hole to be the size of a quarter. It’s the size I use for my gourds, which they love.
Doves like open ledges to build their nests on.
With the tea pot bird house maybe if you could have cut part of the lid of and have it act as a roof for when it rains
I was afraid it wouldn't stay since there wouldn't have been much of an area to glue. Thanks so much for stopping by and watching 😊❤️
