    Great content, Juna! I liked the reminder to be wary of the one-day movers and shakers. A broader look time-wise definitely gives more valuable information. Because you're right, it's never clear what caused a brief uptick in sales to land them on the movers and shakers page. Better to see those designs selling well for at least over a week.
    Kind of unrelated but still a Merch question: When you're uploading one design to each of the different worldwide Amazon markets, how do you insure that you won't get a trademark violation in those markets? (Are you checking for trademarks and content rules for each market for each design?) I've been hesitant to upload to other markets besides the US because a few times when *Amazon* auto-uploaded to other markets on my behalf a while ago, some weeks or months later I got one or two notices of content/trademark violation from those non-US markets. For that reason, I halted auto-uploading a long time ago. Also, what is your best practice for handling non-English language translations with your title, brand, and feature bullets? Basically, what is your process for uploading to ALL international markets? Thanks for any info you could provide!

    • @DetourShirts
      @DetourShirts  Год назад +2

      Well.... you may not like my answer.... you can check every market but I don't.... I take a chance that US is the one with the most trademarks so if it passes on US I just put it on all markets... most of the times I'm right..... about 1 in 300 or so I get a trademark strike on a different market.... it may be even less than that, I can't really remember the last time it happened.

    • @dp5711
      @dp5711 Год назад

      @@DetourShirts Ahh, I see. Interesting. Thank you for your response. I am TERRIFIED of trademark/content violations because I value my account so much. My method is CLUNKY. I upload a design to just a lone standard shirt in the US market. Then if the standard shirt goes live without a problem, I upload the design to all the other products in the US market. Then I'll include just a standard shirt on the UK market. Wait for it to go live. Then I'll upload All of the products in the UK market. I fully admit it's a horrible method. (There must be a better way!) I like your method, though. Bold. Just successfully upload to the US and cross your fingers for the other markets lol. Thanks for this! What do you do about the non-English languages in the title, brand, etc., if you don't mind my asking? Thank you!

    Make sure you check trademarks on trending phrases. Just A Girl is trademarked. I had a bunch of designs under that niche from a couple years back then Amazon took down one of my designs. I researched it and it is now trademarked for clothing. I had to go in and delete every design that had that phrase before Amazon sends more rejections.

    • @arkikali5632
      @arkikali5632 Год назад +1

      Justia shows that the trademark was abandoned. Still though, might want to be better safe than sorry. Amazon doesn't really care what the truth is--they just make their decisions and go on about their business. Appeals are pointless (IMO).

    • @elvis723
      @elvis723 Год назад +1

      @@arkikali5632 it's crazy. Just A Girl Who is trademarked in USPTO for clothing and it's Live. It's record number 8 of 41. It gets confusing. Sometimes people use part of the phrase and just because of that, we can't use it in Amazon. Amazon doesn't like to take chances they'll reject anything that has a partial phrase, it seems.

    • @arkikali5632
      @arkikali5632 Год назад +1

      @@elvis723 Yup. And yet if you look up superhero notebook or Disney coloring book, the infringement is rampant. It is what it is though. Would you say it's worth the investment for someone who's still in tier 10? A lot of the tools seem to be just a much more convenient way to do something, that can be done for free with more steps. But, if the thing helps sell more products, I'd say that's worth it in any case.
