Good video Juna. I have a Teepublic (It makes sales here and there) and have not paid to much attention to it because I'm busy on other platforms. Thanks for leveling up my game a bit more for it.
Hi Juna! Im newbie on POD business... Still confuse about that niche stuff & how to design. Find a lot of great tips from your channel. Keep it up! Greetings from Indonesia... ❤ --Glo--
It's not a link for me for some reason. I just started a Teepublic account. So, I'm not sure if it's too soon. But I've had my Redbubble for over a month, with lots of designs.
That's not all there is to know. There's not enough of a section about not having your designs in the search after you upload them. That's because they don't confirm the store. My store hasn't been confirmed for a year.
Can you please elaborate on this? I see my design in my storefront but can't find it when searching for it (I even typed in the whole phrase that's in the design). Thank you 😊
Hi, I am newer on POD. I want to begin to work in teepublic so learn all your videos. I have a question. What first we should do- to design our account or load 20 designs?
Thank You for a wonderful teaching tutorial. I ordered one of my shirts and you can barely see the words. It was a cosmic design with words inside. What is the best font and best size? Thank You for an excellent job.
The best font is something you can easily read.... that's also the best size... readability is key. If you can't read the words on the thumbnail of your design the font is too small
I love your videos specially the design ones. I learnt a lot from them. May i ask what font is this on your cover thumbnail. I love this distressed font.
Thank you for your tutorials! Are you using mock-ups for Teepublic or Redbubblle or those are for other platforms (Etsy, Shopify, etc). Thank you in advance!
It's for other platforms like Etsy and Shopify.... TeePublic and RedBubble don't need mockups but you could use mockups for them when posting on social media if you want to.
Hey Juna, thanks for the vid. Your vids are always a good watch. However, I'd like to see you mention a bit more about Titles, because TeePublic, unlike our friends at Etsy, don't want you to put in the title whether it is a T-shirt, Mug, Coffe Cup, Sticker, etc. I came across from Etsy to both Redbubble and TeePublic in an attempt to expand my audience, and made the fatal flaw of including what the actual product in my design was for. This is a no-no on TeePublic and resulted in my design being removed and then without any warning or correspondence, the account was deleted. Here's what they said after I asked why my account was deleted: "This design was disabled for making product claims in the design title. Making false claims about products (claiming your design will be on a t-shirt, hoodie, sticker, mug, etc.) creates customer confusion which results in refund requests. For this reason, making false claims about products goes against the terms and conditions. Product claims will be automatically updated on the marketplace when the customer selects the product they want your design on." Hope this info is helpful to others who have listed on this site and being used to including the product in the title description. Thanks. Keep up the great vids.
Juna some people suggest enabling only 3-4 primary colors for t-shirts because they believe it's more likely for the customer to buy when he has limited options to choose from (reducing indecisiveness). What do you think?
I really appreciate the quick and seamless title and tags suggestion, but you're not addressing the most important issue. Respectfully, as great as you are since you've been in Teepublic for a long time, you're not mentioning that new sellers may encounter difficulties with their designs not appearing instantly after opening their shop.
I was hoping to talk about it when I uploaded my design.... I assumed it wouldn't show up right away. To my surprise it did.... I will do another video about how designs don't show up and my thoughts.
Looking forward to the video asap. I am facing that situation. My store is not showing up on teepublic. That's is the major challenge new artist face on teepublic. Your store will not show up. It seems they are satisfied with the numbers of artists they have there and don't want to add new to it. And they are not confident enough to disclose it in the public reasons best known to them.
Hey Juna, great vid, thanks. makes transferring 600+ designs easier. Question: I notice that you maintain your "brand" across multiple platforms, is there a downside for doing that? Thanks again, love ya work....
Very useful video and I appreciate the help! I use Merch Informer for Amazon but couldn't find anything to niche down on Teepublic or finding trends. I just started 2 wks ago with Merch by Amz, Etsy and Teepublic last week. Do you suggest Etsy? or should I just focus on Amz and other platforms?
I would suggest not doing Etsy until you are ready to pay for sales upfront and doing a lot more customer service.... Etsy is a different kind of POD site.... I would focus on Amazon and TeePublic first and figure out what works..... know what you are getting in for before starting Etsy
and the second question: Must we place our designs in social platforms and in which form as a design or we should download the model from Teepublic then share them?
Whatever works best for you... but remember social media is for sharing value not advertising... no one goes to social to look for ads.... so you need to think about what audience you are targeting on social media and what is the value you are bringing.
Only if you know what niche will work out... most don't know what niche will work for them so most should try lots of niches until they find the one that works for them
@@DetourShirts Thanks, I asked many people about this problem and they all shouted at me and didn't give me a proper word, only you explained it clearly.

I've uploaded over 100+ designs that use AI artwork. I don't upload them straight though I remove backgrounds and I add to them.

What do I have to do when that message appears? How do I accept that tag??

You have to go through the process of making sure your shop is presented well with links, headers, albums, and all that, and then contact them and request they look everything over and approve you for being in the main searches. I've been able to do it easily with three different themed shops once having them fully up and running with a good amount of quality designs to show off.
Hey, plz i wanna know why my design doesn't shows when I search for it (like do I need to upload more than a specific number of designs or what...) and thank u.
You can't on TeePublic... they set the price and those in the Artisan category get $4 per shirt sale and those in the Apprentice Category get $3 per shirt sale
That is 100% the reason. Flesh out your account (10-20 designs) and profile. Then you may have to contact teepublic and let them know you are a committed artist if your designs still won’t show up.
TeePublic made 2 categories recently.... Apprentice and Artisan..... Apprentice designs don't appear in searches but if you create more designs and designs that TeePublic thinks are good enough to be in the Artisan category than your designs will show up.
@@DetourShirts wow I had no idea ! So how many do they need in a shop I have 100 designs currently so that means mine won’t sell untill they show up in searches ?

@@DetourShirts i have one problem. My design did not save means just logo. How can i just logo? Actually when i dowload then transparent logo not opened.
It should be on your shop.... Hover over My Account and then click on My Storefront. If you have more than 1 page worth than you can click through the other pages by scrolling to the bottom. You can sort your shop by Newest and see your newest uploads
Sure.... The title should only be 1-5 words with your main keywords or long tail keywords in the title. Tags are specific words that you can choose after to describe your design. You can only have 15 different tags. The nice thing about TeePublic is that they will suggest tags for you so you don't have to come up with all 15 yourself.
@@DetourShirts is our title related to text which was written on tshirt as design or our text related to category? Is there is going to be any problem if we use someone else title? tags what we should include in main tags? and what we should include in main tag like is design was relevant to animal what we should add ''cat or animal''
It should be related but It doesn't have to be exact. The title should reflect what people will be searching for when looking for your design. You can use someone else's title if it matches your design. The main tag should be the tag that matches your design the most. I would go more specific than broad. Cat over animal if your design is a cat for example.

@@DetourShirts thanks
I create canva use design but my teepublic account removed for teepublic so what can I do?
Hmmmm try a different POD site and figure out why your account got removed
@@DetourShirtsdont tell reason but removed account came mail..
Teepublic Best Artbord Size ??
They say 5000 x 5500 but some places like Canva won't let you do that.... so I use 4500x5400 and it fits on 99% of products
i dont sharing thing on my redbuuble dashboard
I think it was only for certain people... sorry
How can advertise these things without much amount?
Social Media can work if you build it up
The "sell on teepublic" link is no more in the dashboard, or just not in mine...?
I still have it but I heard that not everyone see that. Sorry
Is there an teepublic on philippines?
On Philippines? I believe it's international and you probably can use it in the Philippines but I'm not 100% sure
Why design loads of shirts designs if they're not gonna be seen on the apprentice section of teepublic
So that you can get to the Apprentice section
What does the blue check mark means by the designer's name?
Blue checks usually mean that the name is verified but I don't remember seeing any on TeePublic.... Where did you see that?
@@DetourShirts
I saw it on Redbubble. Sorry, I thought it was on TeePublic.
Can I upload all the products using 5000x 5000 pixels?
No... according to TeePublic it must be 5000x5500
@@DetourShirts I’m sorry I should’ve asked would a 5,000x5000 design work for clothing.
Hi, juna i can't see sell on teepublic in my dashboard

Oh no.... I was hoping everyone had it... they most be rolling it out in phases
@@DetourShirts As you said, if you open a new TP account, you can migrate your RB designs to TP. How about if you ALREADY have a TP account, can you also import designs from RB to an existing TP account? If yes, how?
I think that is a question for RedBubble.... I would hope so
Do you sell on Etsy?
I currently don't sell on Etsy
every body is talking about selling t.shirts, maaaan I sell tote bags and I don't find guys talking about that!!
I don't sell that many totes... what platform are you selling them on?
if i just take a design from canva and put it in a shirt , will teepublic remove my design or close my acc ?
Possibly... I would change it up
I created a TeePublic account and I have not received an email?
You may get one later
