Excellent, keep going. Everyday I upload at least one or two designs, until today I have 325 designs. What is your opinion about the affiliate program. Should I apply for it now or it needs more designs. Thanks in advance.

Hello, im an self-taught artist from Philippines. I am planning to do this kind of work. Do you have a video on how to promote your works to sell better? Thankyou
Well.... the best way IMO would be to build a following.... this will take a long time but it's easier to build an audience and sell to that audience than trying to get people to buy something random
@@DetourShirts My initial four or five designs have been uploaded for about a month now. My designs don't show up in the search site as well. I emailed them, but they are not responding. It's been 2 weeks now.
That is going to be my plan. I have an alternate social media account with around 2700 followers. I am deleting most of the content there other than things that will relate to my TeePublic designs. I will continue to post funny things but add links to my store. Once I see sales related to what I am doing, I will go for the affiliate program. I just launched TeePublic, so I am hoping to be ready for this by the fall.
Yes.... I should have mentioned that. Good clarification. You could do that or if you already have a good following on social media they may accept you too.... remember you can share other designs that are not your own.
I usually do them in the app I'm creating my design in.... so if I'm creating it in Affinity Designer than I do it there.... or if it was Canva I would do it there
Now that I am an apprentice with 2500 designs, all my new designs since the change don't show up in search, so why should I continue uploading new designs.
@@DetourShirts I'm not sure. But you said in the video if stores don't upload often they will fall off, but only my old designs before the switch show up in search, and I'm mass appeal and have nowhere to promote my designs, so I rely on the marketplace search. So since the change, all new designs I upload don't show up on marketplace. Even for tags that have 0 designs. Not sure what TeePublics logic is on this, but it sucks.
In the midst of a challenging global economy, I've experienced a distressing 5-fold decline in sales within a single year for my Teepublic store. Despite my extensive collection of over 800 designs, my monthly earnings have dwindled to a meager average of $30. The situation feels disheartening, and the lack of substantial sales makes it difficult to find motivation to keep pushing forward.
I hear you.... it's getting tougher out there... have you tried getting into Amazon Merch on Demand... the better organic traffic may help you get more sales
@@DetourShirts I my main print on demand source of revenue comes from Amazon Merch sales. However, I've noticed that my sales have experienced fluctuations on several occasions, and the variations seem to be more pronounced compared to previous years. I believe this trend is not unique to my business alone, as it could be influenced by the state of the global economy. In times of economic uncertainty, people tend to be more cautious with their spending habits, leading them to prioritize essential purchases over discretionary items like t-shirts. As a result, I have observed a decline in t-shirt sales. Interestingly, amidst these challenging times, I have seen a notable increase in sticker sales on Teepublic. It is plausible that this trend is related to the prevailing economic conditions, as stickers are a more affordable and versatile option for customers looking to express themselves through merchandise.I acknowledge that regaining the same level of earnings as before will necessitate a substantial increase in my efforts-potentially two to three times the work I used to invest, and maybe even more. The current market conditions and economic challenges serve as a reminder that nothing in life should be taken for granted. It's a valuable learning experience, and though it may seem daunting, it also presents an opportunity for growth and adaptation. I am well aware that my sales could potentially plummet further due to the uncertainties and economic difficulties. However, despite the circumstances, I remain hopeful and optimistic.
