    In the midst of a challenging global economy, I've experienced a distressing 5-fold decline in sales within a single year for my Teepublic store. Despite my extensive collection of over 800 designs, my monthly earnings have dwindled to a meager average of $30. The situation feels disheartening, and the lack of substantial sales makes it difficult to find motivation to keep pushing forward.

    • @DetourShirts
      @DetourShirts  Год назад

      I hear you.... it's getting tougher out there... have you tried getting into Amazon Merch on Demand... the better organic traffic may help you get more sales

    • @ericswe92
      @ericswe92 Год назад +1

      @@DetourShirts I my main print on demand source of revenue comes from Amazon Merch sales. However, I've noticed that my sales have experienced fluctuations on several occasions, and the variations seem to be more pronounced compared to previous years. I believe this trend is not unique to my business alone, as it could be influenced by the state of the global economy. In times of economic uncertainty, people tend to be more cautious with their spending habits, leading them to prioritize essential purchases over discretionary items like t-shirts. As a result, I have observed a decline in t-shirt sales.
      Interestingly, amidst these challenging times, I have seen a notable increase in sticker sales on Teepublic. It is plausible that this trend is related to the prevailing economic conditions, as stickers are a more affordable and versatile option for customers looking to express themselves through merchandise.I acknowledge that regaining the same level of earnings as before will necessitate a substantial increase in my efforts-potentially two to three times the work I used to invest, and maybe even more. The current market conditions and economic challenges serve as a reminder that nothing in life should be taken for granted. It's a valuable learning experience, and though it may seem daunting, it also presents an opportunity for growth and adaptation. I am well aware that my sales could potentially plummet further due to the uncertainties and economic difficulties. However, despite the circumstances, I remain hopeful and optimistic.

I think a surprise is coming for Teepublic as well. Chinese / Japanese writing..
    I've been searching RUclips and Google trying to find how to add actual Chinese writing into my designs, so like an image with some cool looking Chinese font, not just English in a Chinese style, but actual Chinese / Japanese
    if you could do a video which explains how to do this, preferably on photoshop or photopea, INCLUDING how to make sure the Chinese writing actually says what I want it to say.. that'd be amazing
    so for example, if I had a design of a cat riding a motorbike, maybe I want it to say 'wild cat' or 'biker cat' but NOT in English, ONLY in Chinese writing
    but then to also be able to make the font look cool, like a big blocky font or a 3D font, y'know just not a basic line font which wouldn't look too great on such a design

    Hello juna. I started teepublic 2 weeks ago. I’ve put 60+ designs up, albums, banner, profile pic and social media, and other stuff that your supposed to do before contacting them to try and get excepted onto the marketplace, and even got a sale through 1 of my instagram followers yesterday but I was rejected this morning. Do you think Is it worth contacting them. I have 2 redbubble shops but doesn’t seem worth uploading to them no more👍🇬🇧

    How Will the Service Fee Increase Affect Artist Earnings?
    Artisan Earnings: Beginning May 8, 2023, Artisan Accounts will earn $4 on full priced ($2 for discounted) sales of apparel and select home goods. This aligns the earnings for these products with the earnings for Classic T-shirts (the #1 product sold by artists), which were already $4/$2. The impact of this change will be relatively small for most Artisans. Based on 2022 sales, the average Artisan would have seen a loss of only $6 per month.
    Apprentice Earnings: Beginning June 1, 2023, Apprentice Accounts will earn $3 on full priced ($1 for discounted) sales of apparel and select home goods. Until then, they will have the same service fee as Artisan Accounts starting May 8, 2023.
