Wow, you're amazing! I've never used Kittl before, but I'm definitely giving it a shot. Here's the deal: I'm a perfectionist. I haven't posted anything on any POD platform yet because I'm not 100% satisfied with any design I've created so far. I mainly work with Inkscape and Canva, but I reckon Kittl might have some secret moves to make my designs look way more pro. Perhaps I'll finally gather the courage to put them out there. Thanks again for everything you do. Wishing you all the best! 🙏😎
I hope you found your courage. In my 40 years on this planet I have always seen flaws in my work and other people absolutely loved every single thing I have ever created, even the stuff I consider a complete fail. Art is subjective, feed the subjects!
Hey, @@NiaLaLa_V! Thank you for your response. Yes, I actually did put a few designs out there and I even sold a few t-shirts and stickers! Now I just need to kick my habit of procrastination to turn it into a business. 😂
Sometimes I feel like clapping "Bravo" after your designing videos! Thank you so much for making such easy to understand examples and techniques that are easy to learn!
Really Juna you are very talented. And the best thing about your videos is that you explain the technique in such a simple way that even a difficult task seems easy to do! Keep going!
thanks so much Juna, I had no idea how to use masks in kittl today and you've just shown me exactly what to do. The AI sandwich methods are so good, I'll often have a fantastic design but it's too square and cut off at the edges to put straight onto a t-shirt and have it look good so your video is going to be super helpful!
The masks are like Canva frames. Thanks Juna, I love it. I am wondering if you can make your own masks, for Kittl , like you can make your own frames for Canva, with PowerPoint or figma? I will have to look for tutorials. 🤔
Maybe I missed it but the first AI image you created you chose Art Deco as style but then you picked a previously made image that was different and better (IMO) -- but did not show how you made that one - any clues? Perhaps a tutorial on AI prompts in Kittl would also be helpful - thanks
Great vid thanks im just now finding out about AI generated designs. Would I be able to use the AI designs from kittl to get a company like supacolor to print them out or use it for dtf?
Is there ANY way to get Kittl to just put the standard Shirt size as a default on their dashboard. Or at least way to SAVE our sizes easily? I save a blank template to reuse again and again. Just would be so awesome if they made a 4500 x 5400 default setting, knowing that many of us are using this for Merch. Just saves steps in the process.
Love this! In your video it shows 228 masks available and now in kittl it’s showing 204 available and only part of the alphabet letters show up?! Any ideas where the other letters went?
Hi Juna, can you tell us the font for the other letter mask Kittl has? They have two letter masks and I can't figure out the font of the one you didn't show in this tutorial. Thanks!
Juna- great videos! I have a brick and mortar Outdoor Retail store in East Texas and I am designing shirts to represent our brand. I am on Kittl, and I am having troubles getting the texture to blend with design and separating from the background. Every time I try to put it on a shirt it's the entire block and it won't "remove the background " even when I ask it too. Any suggestions?
thanks for all these videos, been learning a lot. quick question, are you from hawaii? cuz after watching some of your vids, it's subtle but i noticed that certain words you say sounds very close to how some people from hawaii would say them
While watching this video on 5/22/24, I noticed that some of the masks were not available in my Kittl expert plan. I do not see any letter masks, nor the tall, thin, vertical mask. Any idea what happened.
Hi Juna can you tell Us about the United States T-shirt design Trends, I am doing Tshirts design but don't know the Trends, can you please make a video on it .
It really depends on the Print on Demand sites.... trends come and go and are usually influenced by pop culture but they can be political too..... you can find current trends by looking at what is selling and see if a certain topic is selling well..... you can use tools like Pretty Merch, Merch Informer and DS Amazon Quickview to see what is trending on Amazon.... A lot of times the POD site will actually tell you what is trending too.
Great design tips Juna. I have not experienced AI with designs because Canva is not doable. I may have to return to Kitti so I can stand out but this will be somewhere down the line. It still costs more to use their Pro than Canva.

That would be cool.... I bet they figure it out
I am so glad I found this. I knew there had to be away to do a outline on the Letter mask. That was super easy thank you
Yup.... pretty cool right?
Awesome video - I ALWAYS learn something new - thanks for your contributions!

Thanks Juna those designs are awesome!

Thanks for this great tutorial Juna! Cant wait to see more with AI. Love Kittl!!
Yup... I got a bunch more Kittl stuff coming
This video was very useful, thanks for sharing ❤
Glad it was helpful!
Thanks! I’ve never really learnt how to do the glyph stuff until I watched your video.
Glad that helped

It was also art deco style.... pretty much the same prompts.... just got lucky before
@@DetourShirts - I'm wondering if adding colors to the prompts would help -- mine did not come out that well -- great video as always
Hey there! We have a few videos on tips for creating prompts in Kittl as well as a prompt book page that explains each style. Hope that helps!
Love love love!!!!! I am afraid 20 credit will not be enough 😂🤣
Thank you
So cool! You've given me a lot of ideas, thank you!
You are very welcome
Thank you this is great!
Glad you liked it
This is an amazing tutorial. Thank you, Juna.
Awesome... so glad you liked it

Glad you like it!
thank you for always sharing amazing contents sir
My pleasure
THANK YOU COACH, please can i use this method to make cover for kdp amazon without copyright ? IS KITTL FREE ?
Kittl is not free.... it's free to try but to really use it for Print on Demand you will need one of the plans.
Great vid thanks im just now finding out about AI generated designs. Would I be able to use the AI designs from kittl to get a company like supacolor to print them out or use it for dtf?
Hi juna great video, what do you think about the future of POD? do you think that IA can be the end of amazon merch?
Nope it's just a tool.... designers will still be needed.... the competition will be tougher but we will learn to adjust.
@@DetourShirts thank you so much man you have been such an ispiration with this channel man, keep the great work!
Best video!! Thank you

Yes, please. ❤
Love this! In your video it shows 228 masks available and now in kittl it’s showing 204 available and only part of the alphabet letters show up?! Any ideas where the other letters went?
I'm not sure... maybe they are updating something... I bet they come back
Hi Juna, can you tell us the font for the other letter mask Kittl has? They have two letter masks and I can't figure out the font of the one you didn't show in this tutorial. Thanks!
It's called Alfa Slab One... go make something fun with it
@@DetourShirts Thank you!!
Great 🎉

You are almost there... After selecting your texture, you just have to use select Alpha Mask in the dropdown and then turn on Clip Content
@DetourShirts Thank you! I will try this when I get back to work tomorrow! I am having a lot of fun designing shirts and now stickers, thanks to you!
Do you need to vectorize the AI image you generated before it can be used for POD?
On Kittl? No... at least I didn't
Great idea
Thank you
🔥🔥🔥🔥
thank you
Can you make a Mask a solid color like red or blue entirely
Yes... you could
thanks for all these videos, been learning a lot. quick question, are you from hawaii? cuz after watching some of your vids, it's subtle but i noticed that certain words you say sounds very close to how some people from hawaii would say them
Yes... I was born and raised in Hawaii... it's really hard to shake that accent
@@DetourShirts right on! same here. you rockin' it well. big mahalos to you and aloha.

They could have made changes... not sure 100%
JUNA how do you do this in Affinity Designer 2?
I dont have Kittl. Im too poor.
You would have to mask the AI design into a shape to achieve the same result
@@DetourShirts like an oval or square?
@@DetourShirts i learned alot from you how to do things in Affinity Designer cause thats what i got i dont have PS or AI
How do you make letters different colors??
You can do each one separate
Thx, awesome tips.
Thank you... glad you liked it
Why do you make it look so easy :P
Secret.... it is easy... you got this!

Makes sense... these videos will be here when you are ready
We hope you give Kittl a try when you are ready!
Great video👍🇨🇦
Thank you
When i double click to move my picture in the mask it moves the whole letter and not the picture. What am i doing wrong?
You may need to double click inside the letter and you should see a difference
