Steve Clark's role in Def Leppard went on LONG after his death. The original Demo for "When Love and Hate Collide" was done primarily by him. He was called the "Riftmaster" by his band mates for a reason. The Thunder God, however, was probably influenced by the insane amount of performers he was exposed to as a young man. I mean, come ON, he opened for AC/DC on his 16th birthday! Even so, Rick Allen's skill never lost its touch. Once again, Def Leppard is like no other band. Rock On.

This song and "Answer to the Master" are my favorites from this album. I rocked out to this whole great album, "On Through the Night," Album in high school. Oh, you kids don't know what you missed! We didn't need text messages and all the lame crap of today--we were rockin' and rollin', movin' and grooving with the ladies. Lots of wild times in the back seat of our cars with women, drive-in adventures. God what I wouldn't give to go back when America had more heart. The music and PC culture are all so lame now.
