But nah for real, I was 80% done with this project and it corrupted on me after 2 months of working on it on and off. So I decided to make it again totally from memory. And finished it within the week! Enjoy!

I like the little detail of the security guard reaching for his pistol when Freeman is threatening the scientist.

I feel like this animation sums of Ross's version of Freeman perfectly.
1:16 Now that is how you break the 180 degree rule to land a solid joke.
Camera is facing the hallway, and we see Freeman exit the scene. Then, a second later, Freeman appears from behind the camera, grabbing a scientist and getting really close to the camera. Freeman goes from being in the distance, out of the shot, to taking up half the screen from an unexpected angle. Quick and effective humor.
Good shit.
So, Gordon knows how to teleport, after all...

Love how Barney talks so clearly through his hand, then conveniently has a monitor in front of him, and his back facing to the camera. Anything to not animate that mouth.
It's like animating a sock puppet, honestly it looks horrible.

Odd too when facial animations are automated by the game to match dialogue.
Gordon was so much quieter in the early episodes
+Yogkog I always view it as him growing more agitated and neurotic as he's awake longer and his situation worsens. Wakes up in the morning, more quiet, reserved, then shit hits the fan and his psychotic behavior inflates.

@@cranialtoxicity4434 Pretty much, He's been awake for 48 hours during the Black mesa Incident ((Minus the few hours he was rendered unconscious by the HECU Marines that jumped him)) doing more physical activity than most of us do in a week all the while nearly being killed several times by the facility crumbling apart. and Half Life 2 is going to add two more days to his journey. ((Minus the week between the slow Teleport)) So by the time Ross finishes Freemans Mind 2 Gordon will have been awake a whopping 96 hours.
I'm pretty sure Gordon would at least feel rested when he’s dumped onto the train to City 17 but I guess it’s possible he doesn’t.
Aaaaand now I gotta marathon all of Freeman's mind.

You know why? Because Freeman's a rebel. The day they tried to enforce the dress code on him, he let them know there could be an accident around here if that happened. And by 'accident', he means 'bomb the place'.

I love this! It's so meta. Freeman's Mind was great because it filled in Gordon's inner monologue in Halflife, and did it humorously. This is filling in another unknown, Gordon's mannerism's and gestures.
Nice touch throwing that HL:S Scientist into BM:S territory.
You managed to avoid making anyone talk on camera except for the HL1 scientist you freaken genius.

RileyPivot Well, he never said a specific year, he just said he'll start it once he gets to a certain point in development of the movie. He also said in his December Live Chat that he doesn't promise anything for Half-Life 2, but that he hopes to do FM for HL2.
+*iSmile* Good news, he said he might (MIGHT) start the series before 2016 ends IF he gets enough done on the movie. Based on this, I think it's safe to assume that FM for HL2 will begin somewhere between late 2016 and early or mid 2017.

Omg, this is amazing. The body movements are perfect, the ape mask is hilarious, and the little gags (the mask, the tentacle, the _Half-Life_ scientist model) are the beautiful cherry on top.

This is really laggy, you should probably use some motion blur or increase the FOV slightly. If there's two things that Ross dislikes, it's camera shaking and choppy video.
