Honestly I find it better this way. You never see his face in all of Freeman's Mind, so it keeps the faceless thing going, and focuses on the voice, which is the whole point of the series anyway.
Make the one about his first headcrab encounter in Unforeseen Consequences. "I am a matador. I fearlessly-" *Headcrab jumps on him* "-OH SHIT FUCK PISS! These things bite!"
I think he wants to make a Movie-Length custom built machinima, using as many custom assets as he can get his hands on. I haven't been to many of the videochats, but I think that's the general idea. Not sure if there really is that many details out there on the whole thing other than how he *has* to *make* the *movie* though.
He actually established fairly recently that Freeman's Mind 2 will likely begin before the movie's release -- he just always intended for the movie's development to take precedence, is all. He wanted to get it up and running and make major headway before committing to a choice on the matter. Basically, FM2 will come before the movie. Even if that doesn't mean 'soon'.

Nah his facial animations suck. Forgive me for picking to cover it up rather than make his face look terrible. I animate every other persons faces in my videos and spend a ton of time getting them right, it's not laziness its quality control.

It take me three tries to paly through HL1 as a child. 1st try ended in "On the Rail" because I lost my way (thankfully BMS cut some stuff out there). 2nd try ended on that cliff, because I missed the crossbow in "Questionable Ethics" and did not know how to kill the enemies there. 3rd try worked. Cliff Headcrap scared the shit out of me though.
Amazing video and the animation has a nice flow because I know you focus on it better than the lip syncing and facial expressions but do you think you'll ever do both some day?
My friend and I love the Freeman's Mind series in general, but this; this gives it "face" (giggling a bit now...) AND creates numerous possibilities due to how you animate these, for example: the "pirate" episode, or say..."box smashing room" episode, or...even the episode with the dozens of Head-crabs dropping from the ceiling onto him; that later becomes an intro clip, or...OMG; What about the "Across The Universe" episode? Anyway thank you for these animations, I really look forward to them; stay awesome...
