This scene always seemed so interesting to me. G-Man clearly knows what "Benrey" is and he's still shocked on how Benrey is able to move freely as the G-Man froze time. You displayed the facial expressions beautifully here

You probably know this already, but one of the reasons it was so awkward was because the guy playing Gman was was trying to think of if Gman knows what a PS5 is.
You can see it in G-man’s eyes how terrified he is of Benry. He knows full well what Benry is and must be losing his mind cause he probably had no idea he could still move when time is frozen.
I think what makes it truly intimidating isn't the fact that he moves during g-mans stopped time. It's that he treats g-man the same as anyone else. Everything we know about g-man logically places him far above humanity, even the multiversal empire of the combine. But benrey just walks up to him, and acts like he's as much of a toy to him as Gordon is.

The power of having a special HEV like security uniform in this universe. He lowkey got it in there like a weapon when you playin the game HL: Blue Shift It's on slot 6, fucking Playstation symbol on the blue HUD.
I love how the models represent the mic quality, Gordon was seemingly rendered in Source2 and has the clearest sounding voice, meanwhile, the others sound very compressed and the models look like Source 1
Gordon's subtle half-smile at the end is really great. He looks tired, fed up, vaguely amused and already expecting and accepting of the bullshit he has seen and will continue to see. I just wish the guard model was a little more shadowed around the eyes. That's my favorite part of Benrey/the HL1 guard model--the deep shadow around the eyes makes them look tired, vaguely intimidating and somewhat sickly. It's a great visual contrast to Benrey's nonsense bullshit.
I think just seeing a surprised Gman is somewhat uncanny. The Gman typically shows little to no facial expressions, but to see him be confused or surprised at something when he's some all-powerful, ultradimensional entity? If _he's_ terrified of something, so should you.

G-Man’s shock and discomfort was probably the funniest damn thing he was just SO CONFUSED. Benrey was fantastic in this scene. This was so amazingly done, G-man’s reactions were priceless.
I love how the music really shows this as the first time we see that benrey is way more powerful than he lets on. Gman is in shock, and Gordon is just in awe, with the music reveling in sinisterness, I haven’t played hl1, but I hear it’s weird, and I’d honestly say I think this story is better
This deserves more recognition, you really should continue working on this kind of stuff whenever a feeling to do so arises. I'd love to see more amazing work like this!

The fact that gman normally only has the vortigaunts able to mess with his time mumbo jumbo really gives the extra “oh shit” moment seeing a seemingly random security guard unfazed by it
This was amazing! I love the little eye movements and body language. Also the detail in the lip syncing is awesome! Especially when Gman clears his throat and his nostrils flare a bit and his mouth moving with it, absolutely amazing!
