Over half the country can't afford a $400 surprise bill. The rich keep getting tax cuts. The working class is making the smallest share of the pie since the Great Depression. You don't have time to be idealistic with policy if you're about to lose your house.
And who is it that keeps giving tax cuts to the wealthy, everytime a republican gets elected he gives a huge tax cut to billlionaires especially he does give temporary tax cuts to average citizens but those are temporary, the wealthy cuts are permanent. Upwards of 50 trillion dollars has been transferred from the middle class to the wealthy in the last 40 years. If they rolled back reagan tax cuts, gw bush tax cuts and trump tax cuts, the country would have no deficit.
I have a "feeling" every time I get gas, groceries, open my electric bill, insurance bill, ect... stock market is not reflective of the working class, working poor and the poor. The stock market just signals the rich are getting richer.
Agree that the stock market isn't reflective of the middle class anymore, but was it ever, really? For quite a while now, it mostly affects middle America and on down through returns on IRAs, 401K's, and in some small measure, returns on small amounts of some stocks held by average folks. Laura Coates, suggesting that the factory workers in Akron, Ohio (or Cleveland, Detroit, or anywhere else in the Rust Belt) who lost their jobs to off-shoring of American manufacturing are resentful over their loss of white privilege is to completely overlook that a large percentage of those workers were African-American. American manufacturing from World War II and after was a driving force that helped to offset the wage gap between the races in America.

Losing the weight does not fix the problem. It reduces a symptom of a diet or lifestyle that needs to change to improve your life. Address the real problems and you not only lose the weight but become a better version of yourself.
Part of it is mental. American consumers fail to understand the worldwide effects of the pandemic and the massive efforts it took to recover. America fared far better than every other industrialized country.

Over half the country can't afford a $400 surprise bill. The rich keep getting tax cuts. The working class is making the smallest share of the pie since the Great Depression. You don't have time to be idealistic with policy if you're about to lose your house.
nope false narrative. the middle class got most of the tax cuts and the rich pay almost all the tax dollars regardless of the rates they pay.
No one is stopping you from investing except you.
You don't have to be rich... start small and have patience it will grow.

The truth about Ozempic is that is causes people to lose more muscle and connective tissue than bodyfat. That's a pretty significant negative side effect. It's only a matter of time before we start seeing a spike in people sustaining major muscle tears and joint issues.
I know a few folks who used Ozempic for various reasons (diabetes, weight loss, addiction issues) and they all came out with a messed up gut. Even getting off the drug, their guts are still messed up. Food nauseates them, and, if they try to force eat they’d vomit
And new evidence is showing that when you stop the drug some or more of the weight comes back. So it’s a life sentence
Could they compensate by upping their exercise regimen and taking supplements?

Part of it is mental. American consumers fail to understand the worldwide effects of the pandemic and the massive efforts it took to recover. America fared far better than every other industrialized country.

Biden is losing Michigan by 10, Wisconsin by 4, Georgia and Arizona by 6. Trump is going to win if we nominate Biden the perceived dementia patient with tons of baggage.
The use of uzempic to lose weight is affecting the diabetics for whom the drug is a necessity. As someone who suffers from Diabetes it is very hard to get the drug to help control the disease I suffer from because everyone is out using it to lose weight.
PS: To Ray Romano's question about side effects. If you do not take it properly it will give one serious nausea for almost a week. Even when introducing it to your body in the dosage required doesn't mean you won't end up suffering serious nausea.
It's pathetic that you can't get the meds you need for your diabetes - a disease. Calling obesity a disease is outrageous. Before everyone goes nuts - think about it. Apparently, it's the only disease that exists in the United States but nowhere else on earth? Really. Funny, that.
