I know I was. My father had his racist attitudes, though a lot fewer than some people I've known since, and I learned it from him without even realizing it at the time. Luckily I figured out what he and I were doing and I've spent the years since then trying to live the opposite of those and a variety of his other bad examples.

Coleman Hughes was ignorant of the fact that CRT actually doesn't "equate whiteness with evil and blackness with moral superiority". CRT does no such thing. It doesn't say that all white people are evil and all black people are good. It says that racial dynamics in the US have disadvantaged many black Americans over generations. He hadn't actually done that much research about CRT...or he just chose to misrepresent CRT with his audience, and he assumed he'd be believed.
Hughes incorrectly defined colorblindness - colorblindness is defined by ignoring or denying the existence of racial differences. MLK didn't advocate for colorblindness. MLK did recognize the need to address and rectify the historical and systemic injustices that disproportionately affected Black Americans.

I never called this guy a racist, I was saying that by spreading right wing talking points, there will be a portion of his audience that will vote for republicans. I couldn't believe my ears when Coleman said that Bill would push back hard on Putin, simultaneously implying that Tucker didn't. He interjected multiple times saying that he didn't understand what relevance that was supposed to have to today, and asked him multiple times why he didn't invade as soon as he got into office if all of that stuff was the reason behind it. Maher hadn't even listened to it and he was judging it, repeating Hillary/Maddow by calling him a Putin propagandist. The most absurd part is that the people being most critical are also the ones who are the loudest in saying that Putin is an evil authoritarian dictator. Isn't that the type of person who would jail and/or kill someone if they got into a straight-up argument with him? It makes no sense. They just only want us to hear one side of it.
At least Bill was willing to state that interviewing the leaders of adversarial states is something journalists do, but then he followed up that statement with propaganda from the people who want to keep laundering money through Ukraine and supporting the slaughter of their citizens just to try and take out some of Russia's troops, all the while weakening America's standing as a world power and hurting our economy. He stated on a recent podcast episode with that valuetainment guy that he doesn't follow the news. We all need to remember that he's a comedian, not a news anchor, and certainly not a journalist. i didn't know liberals didn't like the SATs as a requirement. I mean it is impossible to do an ideal test. I do know they aren't an accurate measurement in outliers. For example I went to college early and thus took the SATs early, but had attention span disorders while taking it and did better in areas that are NOT my strong areas. I hardly remember this and I don't get all butthurt about stuff like that though, I don't even remember my score or anything. But the idea that it is an ideal test is silly -- it only tests how good you are at taking tests and getting trained by the "right" people. So fact is, you just hate liberals and wanted to "feel" right. I don't see how that makes you any better. Bc I can assure you, plenty of brilliant people have FLUNKED IQ tests (Thomas Edison, Einstein, etc.) which are another "standard" of testing. Sounds like you would do well in comparison to them though.
