Air suspension is notoriously hard to diagnose and fix. Just ask Mercedes SL owners and Land Rover owners with that option. If I were to get this car, it would be with the steel wheels and the springs.
l've got the 90 Commercial with coils and it rides great, no complaints at all with it. l tried the air spring version and it felt more like a Range Rover Sport, more isolated from the road. So it depends which you prefer. Coming from the old Defender l like to feel what's happening under the wheels, but many owners will just want the smoother more disconnected feel.
l have the Commercial version so there was no option except the 3.0 diesel with 250bhp However it's a great engine and really quiet even when cold, no diesel "clatter" at all. lt also pulls really well. 600Nm torque at under 1,500rpm There's two more powerful versions but the diesel is not available at all in the USA
@@oldcargeezer Wow that engine sounds like a totally different experience we have the 2.0 turbo 4, the hybrid 3.0 6 cylinder turbo, and V8. I think I'm going with the 4 cylinder for overall balance and simplicity
Hey... it's called a market... look it up. It's funny, you clowns never have an issue when the price is UNDER manufacturer's SUGGESTED retail price. I know, I know... economics is hard.

Yes, definitely more straight forward with coils.
Also jag XJ owners lol

Thank you makes the decision to get coils easy. What engine do you prefer?

l still prefer petrol to diesel
Would you prefer a bigger screen infotainment?
Is the 4-cylinder under power for daily urban city drives? or should I opt for 6-cylinder? Thanks
P300 has enough pep in the city. If you are used to more power and perhaps want something faster then the P400 will be worth the wait.
@@BrentSushi Thanks for info. Been waiting to test drive the P300 90 but no ones has inventory yet.
@@mayorpham Keep an eye out for the next several months. May see some new ones pop up.
Is the 4 cylinder the game engine as the ecoboost ford? I know the earlier Disoverys used the same engine / parts.
Would you happen to know how high does it seats with coil suspension? Thanks in advance
Is it true the P300 is less efficient than the P400 as far as MPG goes?
Real world use I think yes.
You seeing more deliveries of these or are we still going over msrp?
Still only a couple here and there. Production from the factory is still bad, but getting better hopefully!
I thought they no longer come with full digital instrument cluster
It’s affecting upcoming production. You will see those clusters on vehicles end of year and early next year.
My defender 110 dynamic ordered it just realised no air suspension? Is coil I didn’t even have the option to have air suspension
It’s called the Air Suspension Pack!
@@BrentSushi there isn’t even the option for air suspension pack go land rover uk if don’t believe me
You'll be fine with the coils particularly in the 110, which rides better than the 90 anyway due to the longer wheelbase
@@garyalcorn3831 There is now, its £1600 for the air suspension. It use to be standard but now an option.
Helpful thanks
Air suspension is not for real off road ... that´s more a Range Rover or Discovery´s zone ;)
😬
Gee... I guess you'll need to tell all those people off-roading with air suspensions.
Not cool marking it up $10k from msrp.
